I've been getting takeout from here often while visiting my dad nearby, and it consistently delivers. I still love this place and I'm so happy its down the street from my house. This review is specifically for their thai tea!!! Ive tried so many thai tea's in the area, from other pho restaurants, thai restaurants, boba shops, chinese food restaurants and NONEEEE compare to their tea thai. I always pick one up before I run errands. The sweetness doesnt overpower the thai tea flavor and it doesnt taste super artificial like at other places. read more

The spring beef rolls were bland. The inside content has small slice of beef and full of noodles. The peanut sauce was so thick that the flour was clumped together. The mixed vegetables with rice was disappointing. The veggies were all small serving and the bokchoy and Napa cabbage were all stems. The #22 pho soup was ok. Solid broth, I'd say similar quality to pho 99, better than pho star bowl. Basic spring rolls, but Vietnamese iced coffee was solid. Their Yelp hours say until 8pm, but their door now says 8:30pm. It seems they also post a sign sometimes about an hour before they close, saying takeout only - so recommend calling ahead of time just in case if you're trying to eat at a later hour. Delish Vietnamese restaurant out in Riverside! First time here and I got to try a variety of dishes with my group. The service was great and the owners were really sweet! I was surprised how big the restaurant was and it was super clean too. The egg roll fillings were delicious and I love how it came with lettuce, picked carrots and daikon, and some fish sauce for dipping. The house fried rice was delicious and had lots of toppings in it, the pho was great as the broth was flavorful and clear, and my favorite was the shaken beef over salad and a side of rice. The vinaigrette sauce over the salad was perfect and the beef was really soft! I had a craving for Vietnamese Banh Mi (sandwich) and packed up the fam and headed over to this location. I was not expecting to them to have such a great variety of Vietnamese dishes and I was tempted to order something other than the sandwich, but I stuck to my guns and ordered the pork banh mi and was not disappointed. The baguette was warm and soft but had a nice crust to it. As you may or may not know, the baguette makes the banh mi. The fillers that go inside the sandwich is secondary to the banh mi experience. Sometimes you get a baguette that is too hard and crusty that it tears the roof of your mouth up making it less enjoyable. My wife and daughter ordered the rice vermicelli noodles with egg rolls. Everything came out quickly and we tasted the dipping sauce that came with the vermicelli bowl and it was spot on. Had the right amount of sweetness to tartness just add chili to spice things up if that's your thing. We had great service and the prices are reasonable so it checks off the a lot of boxes. read more

5 Star Pho used to be our go to spot for family dinners, birthdays, and gatherings. After a long day, I decided to grab pho to go for my family after a really long, but good day. Unfortunately, when I started serving/prepping Pho, I found that the jalapeños in the veggie bag were slimy. Since they were mixed in with the other vegetables, I had to throw the whole bag out. I called the restaurant to let them know, hoping for a bit of understanding. Instead, I was casually told that next time they'll try to grab a fresh pack from the back, with very little care or concern about our current order or experience. Now we're left with a bland (and somewhat pricey) bowl of pho with no veggies or lime. Sadly, this kind of service has made us rethink our loyalty. Next time, we'll make the short drive to Pho Ha across from the mall, worth it for better quality and service. read more

Judging by recent reviews this place used to be a go-to but my first visit was a mixed bag. Discovering this spot was born of not checking ahead and finding my favorite pho spot on the Westside was already closed (7pm), this place said 9:30 but I overhead some employee telling a customer who walked in after 8pm it was take-out only, so apparently we were the last table sat. There was only one other party dining in besides us. Menu is typical for Americanized Vietnamese food, a variety of Pho options, some broken rice dishes, spring and egg rolls, Bahn Mi and so on. I was feeling beef pho and #19 on the menu featured brisket and flank steak, she ordered the shrimp with egg noodles soup, and we split an order of Shrimp Spring Rolls and a Beef Bahn Mi sandwich. The spring rolls arrived first. I liked the rolls, very fresh tasting and the peanut sauce had some depth to the flavor (I've had tasteless elsewhere so a good start). The soups arrived next, we both got small bowls, roughly $10.95 apiece, and everything looked good on my end. Her soup wasn't the most pleasant smelling downwind but I sampled it and luckily the odor didn't anticipate the taste. My rice noodles were a tad overcooked but considering how hot the broth was that's probably what happened. In fact, both were so hot we paused to let them cool off while sharing the sandwich. The French bun was great, nice and warm, flaky, and the perfect size. The beef was also quite good. The only suggestion I'd make is to request extra pickled vegetables, lots of extra vegetables. Overall, service was good but it wasn't a comfortable setting in my opinion. Half the lobby shut down, and lots of tables devoted to take-out services that sat empty while we were there. The place was clean, however, and perhaps too brightly lit. While I wouldn't go out of my way again to dine here I'd consider it if I found myself in that area. read more

(Way more than most places I've been to) I also love that they ask you if you want fried or fresh tofu. I'm a fresh tofu kinda gal and most places fry it. My boyfriend gets the rare steak pho. I can't speak on it from personal experience but the bowls usually gone in under 10 mins so I will take that as a sign it's pretty darn good. the people are always nice. I've had pho many many many times before. And to be honest... I'm not a huge fan of it. It's just mediocre soup in my honest opinion... I ONLY go if someone else with me wants to go. We arrived and I'm quite surprised at how large and spacious the restaurant is. It actually looks really nice compared to all the other ones I been to. We head in and people are going in and out for online orders. But it was dead. The gentleman seats us right away and gets us the menu. We order our pho (we both got the combination) and ordered the Bahn Mi (I think that's how you spell it... the sandwich). Upon ordering we waited and I observed the Asian guy that seated us. I think he's either the owner or the manager. He just stared off into empty space outside without blinking. I don't know why, but it seems all Asian restaurant owners do this. We received the soup first. It was piping hot. I added the sauce in it and... WOW! I'm GENUINELY surprised and impressed. Hands down the best pho I've ever had. Again, I don't like pho. But this was so good, I'm considering making another special trip to riverside to eat here again. And this restaurant is about two hours away. The broth is so flavorful and the best I've ever had. Normally I'd finish the noodles and other items in the soup and leave the broth. Because pho lacks flavor to me. But this was so good, I started drinking it and couldn't finish because... the sandwich came. My only complaint would be "the appetizer (the sandwich) came last." But I was ok with that. That sandwich was so damn good. I'm genuinely impressed with this hidden gem in riverside. I HAVE to give it five star rating. I will be back again in the future.
