I ordered the lunch combo with all chow mein and beef with broccoli and a side order of cream cheese won tons. The chow mein had A LOT of eggs in it and they were nearly burned. The beef with broccoli was interesting. The broccoli was fresh but the meat was overcooked. The cream cheese won tons were cooked fresh to order which was nice however, they were basically cream cheese and sugar. No green onion at all so they tasted like a dessert which was unfortunate. Everything was pretty terrible to be honest ... there was no difference in the spicy and non spicy - but were extremely sweet as well as "mushy" . Like another reviewer, I can't figure out the ratings being so low. I think the food is excellent here. I've never been there as I only have ordered it for delivery. The quantity that they give is incredible! A large chow mien, large BBQ pork and medium fried rice feeds 4 people easily! All added together with egg roll adds up to something like $28 and that includes a 15% tip. So for $7.00 per person delivered to your door is unbeatable. The containers (like every Chinese restaurant uses) can't even close as the flaps are set straight up and topped off to where another noodle has no room to go. They do a nice neat job of it however. Most chinese fast food restaurants are less concerned about service as they are about upselling. I'm writing this review because this restaurant surprised me. I had a craving for some chop suey and I hoped in my heart of hearts that this place had some. I walked in and saw a tray of some old chop suey..."what the heck?" I thought I'll go for it. When I asked for the chop suey the cashier immediately called into the kitchen for a new tray--NICE! So I waited a few minutes for my fresh veggies and shrimp. It was white hot when I started eating it but I didn't care. It's been such a long time since I've had chop suey this fresh before. I also ordered a side of orange chicken for some protein balance and elected to go with some steamed rice instead of the usual fried rice and lo mein. The total for the 2 item combo is $5.97. My suggestion to you would be to order anything that looks old. That way they'll make a fresh batch for you! The cashier never once tried to upsell me. She just took my order with a smile and made sure that everything I ordered was hot and fresh. As far as the food goes, it's pretty standard fare but if you're looking to be treated right, then this is the place where it will happen. Most people typically don't walk into fast food joints with high expectations. Even so, this place was disappointing. We grabbed food for a large group, with the majority being less than pleased. The noodles were mushy, the rice was salty, the egg rolls were soft, and the fried meats were soggy. Yes, Chinese takeout is typically a greasy and salty ode to junk food, but there are plenty of places that can do it better. Note that there are additional fees associated with credit card payments, regardless of the subtotal (which is actually a nuisance if you consider trying to cater a group luncheon and bringing cash). The first 2 times I went there, there was ATM charged of .50 cents, which is OK at times. There was a Hispanic girl helping she was nice. Today there was some one different, an Asian middle aged lady, she was rude when I asked for veggies, and was charging me .75 cents for ATM in which I asked her why .75 now, and in a rude manner she said "Bank charge more" which I know for a fact it was not true..
