I've heard so much about this place as soon as I moved into Loma Linda. The service is Incredibly kind. When friends and I were celebrating a birthday, the staff noticed and provided icecream with a candle on top! The items on the menu are wide and varied. The spice level can be adjusted from 1-5. Even 1 (mild) is quite spicy. I ordered a papaya salad and the fried rice that's considered to be a Favorite. I haven't come across a bad dish yet so I want to boldly say that all the food is very good. Everything is kept quite clean and the ambiance is beautiful! read more

I recently visited Thai House in Redlands on a Friday night around 8 p.m. craving some Thai food and remembered how much I enjoyed this place when I first tried it for lunch. Dinner had a completely different vibe. The restaurant was busy, which was great to see, and the parking lot was completely full. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away and quickly seated. Our table was already set up with menus, and we were looking forward to taking our time, relaxing, and enjoying the evening. However, I felt like the service was a bit rushed. There was a young woman and a gentleman helping us, and the gentleman in particular kept coming back asking if we were ready to order and whether we had enough time to look at the menu. I usually like to ask for recommendations and what's popular, but when I asked, the response was basically that there were too many popular dishes and asked what I wanted instead. We decided to start with an appetizer and continue chatting, but we were approached again about ordering before we were really ready. We eventually ordered the Pad See Ew and fried rice, and both dishes were delicious. I always ask for the chili peppers on the side, and they never disappoint. The food itself was very good, and the lively Friday night atmosphere made for a great experience overall. While I wasn't a fan of feeling rushed by the servers, I still enjoyed the evening. Thai House has great vibes on a Friday night and is definitely a place I'd recommend for a date night or a family dinner. I'll be back, and hopefully next time we can enjoy the meal at a more relaxed pace. Good times roll! read more

The food is always consistent and delicious! Me and my wife always come to dine in for our anniversary or special occasions. We always get the Drunken Noodles with beef, highly recommend it! Oh, the Thai Tea is the BEST! For dessert, the mango sticky rice is a go to when in season. Service is great too! Waiters are pretty quick to get your drinks and orders. They even provided a little disposable plate for my toddler daughter, which we appreciated (especially since kids love to throw things). Just make sure you order entrees and dessert altogether, otherwise you'll have to wait until a waiter is available, they're always so busy! The ambiance is nice, and they have outdoor seating too with fruit trees and a fountain. Gets a little loud during peak times but no big deal. Parking is an issue though. Tight spaces and not enough lots. Though you can park around the block along the public road. 10/10 imo. And we'll always return, especially to try other menu items. read more

We came here for lunch because my co-worker raved about it. They had dinner here just the night before. We all ordered off lunch special menu. I wish they have some noodle dishes on the lunch special menu. I ordered Thai basil with chicken. The presentation and the taste were nic. It's a good value as it came with green salad (or soup), two fried wontons and fried rice (or steamed rice). Unfortunately i found a big piece of egg shell from my egg! It's no surprise this place has earned thousands of great reviews. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by beautiful, authentic Thai décor that immediately set the mood. After being seated, choosing from the extensive menu was a challenge--in the best way possible. We decided on the Fried Duck, a dish not commonly found at many Thai restaurants, along with the Green Chicken Curry. The duck was flavorful, though the texture could be improved as it was slightly chewy. The green curry, while enjoyable, surprisingly lacked the depth of soup flavor typically expected, especially after experiencing many Thai restaurants over the years. Steamed rice was complimentary with our main dishes, which was appreciated. Awesome! We celebrated a birthday here and it was just fantastic!!! The chicken chow mein lunch special was outstanding! I loved the dressing on my house salad and all the veggies were super fresh and crispy. The tofu spring rolls were ridiculously amazing- huge and both the peanut and sweet and sour sauces were delicious . My Thai tea was very sweet but it was refreshing and they have the cool little ice cubes for their drinks. The fried rice was on point. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I've been coming here since 1988, and it's where my passion for Thai and spicy food truly began. Their tom kha gai soup is simply the best, setting the standard for how I judge other Thai restaurants' versions and even how I prepare it at home. For 35 years, we've made it a tradition to make it and enjoy it on New Year's Eve. This visit was no exception; the tom kha gai was outstanding. The broth stood out with its pure white color, which is a rarity since most places serve it with an orange hue. The generous amount of galanga added a wonderful aroma and that signature flavor that I love. And a lot of chicken too. Best of all, they DO NOT put tomatoes in it. So many Thai restaurants add tomatoes. I like tomatoes but not in my tom kha gai. And of course we had steamed jasmine rice as well and Thai iced teas. Yum! The service has always been phenomenal and I'm always amazed at how quick the food comes out, even if they are crowded. read more

My most favorite Thai restaurant and I've been around! Start with ambiance ... beautiful restaurant that feels calm and welcoming. Restaurant and separate bars seating areas. Outside seating in a little "garden" that is quite lovely and covered in warm months and heated in cooler. Always fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices especially for lunch. Food absolutely scrumptious! I wish I would've taken a picture of all the food, which btw was superb. But I was too hungry and celebrating mothers day. Ordered to-go while in the area. Parking was tough on a Friday evening. They had my food ready in 15 minutes. I got the drunk noodle with beef, Thai spicy. The heat was definitively there! The beef was cooked well and the basil flavor came through. However the dish lacked the distinct char flavor and the rice noodles were clumped together as they were jammed into the take out container. The sauce was also a bit too sweet. Food was average. The price is OUTRAGEOUS and the portions are so tiny. When we opened our rice container is was way less than half and ordered another container which the waitress rudely said it would be extra. As if it was an annoyance that we requested her service for something. The waitress kept brushing us off and being very dismissive. Her name was Oat. I will NOT return here. Upon entering we waited 10 minutes locking eyes with a few waitresses and no one coming to greet us. I requested sticky rice in the side and the waitress looked at me crazy like it was absolutely something they could not do. Everyone is just running around like chickens with their head cut off. You don't get any real service here it's so sad. There's a handful of much better Thai cuisine in the area so you will not miss out on anything by not coming here. I'll give 2 stars for fast food prep and average curry. Service was terrible. read more

When I'm in the Loma Linda area...I make it a point to stop by Thai House! Their food is absolutely delicious. I like to order their yellow coconut curry with a side is pineapple fried rice. The ambience is casual, but it's also a good place for a date night. Their service is excellent and they make sure that you're satisfied with your meal. If you're ever in the Redlands / Loma Linda area, I highly recommend giving Thai House Restaurant a try. read more

First time here. Absolutely loved my meal! I tried the Thai Basil and chicken with fried egg. Holy-hell it was amazing! I also tried Thai iced tea for the first time and fell in love with it! Get the coconut curry noodles (Khao Soi). Ask for extra cilantro and lime with it, as sometimes it comes with a very sparse amount. The waiters are very accommodating and there isn't an additional charge for those extra items. The coconut curry in the dish is seasoned perfectly every time. The peanut sauce is excellent and the chicken satay marinade is very good. The appetizer dish Mee Krob is really great too. Crispy and sticky noodles with what tastes like sweet and sour or duck sauce (apricot sauce) mixed in. I usually get it with shrimp, but there are other options. The only dish I would not order again is the pineapple fried rice. It was bland and needed some seasoning and/or salt. The actual rice was cooked well but just not flavorful enough to order again. I'm about a 20 minute drive from this location, and I would legit drive an hour to this restaurant if I moved. Really great Thai food seems hard to find in my city, and I genuinely love this place and their tasty cuisine. read more

I dined here alone for dinner, and enjoyed a Small Tom Kha Kai Soup with Chicken but didn't realize that I burned the tip of my tongue until later. The soup contained a great deal of chicken, mushrooms, and other vegetables with a distinct coconut flavor. I also selected an order of Summer Rolls ostensibly as an appetizer butit became my main after I saw that one order yielded four Summer Rolls, with each roll filled with four large shrimps: 16 shrimps in all. So, I held back from ordering anything further while struggling to finish the Summer Rolls. I found Thai Iced Tea to be too sweet for my liking. So, I just had two sips. Service was very good, and the Asian setting is as consistently realistic as the Thai food. XXXX-1/2 overall! read more

This is my favorite place to eat! Today I took takeout for lunch. I got Thai House lunch special teriyaki chicken bowl. It was the worst chicken I've ever had. It was chewy burnt. really it tasted like it had been reheated two or three times in the microwave. I do not recommend this ever. We were traveling back from Big Bear and we were craving asian food. This one seemed promising considering it's located in Redlands. We also had a dog with us and saw they had outdoor seating, so I thought it'd be perfect to try. They open at 12pm on Sundays, so we were the very first people to arrive. There was also others who started to wait outside until they open for lunch. The restaurant was actually pretty cute too. Right at the entrance, it feels cozy like a house, and as you walk in more, it feels like the restaurant. The outdoor patio also looked pretty too! Luckily the waitress allowed us to bring my senior dog, and all he did was just sleep lol. So we ordered two thai teas, pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, and the chicken satay. The chicken satay came out first, and I may actually like this the most better than the entrees. It was juicy and flavorful, although I feel like the sauce that came with it didn't really enhance it. The salad that was on the side was a bit stale, but the pickled cucumbers were nice and refreshing. Then came out the entrees, which the fried rice was lighter than we thought? I actually enjoyed the fried rice more than the pad see ew because it was light. The pineapple was also good, but a bit too chunky. The pad see ew was pretty alright, although it was a bit too oily for me. The beef on it was also pretty tough. I've eaten here years ago, same with my friend, so while she's in the hospital, she was craving their food. It was quite easy to order over the phone and told them when I would pick up the food. I ordered the Gang Karee, yellow curry with potatoes, onions and carrots in coconut milk for $14.95. I didn't make it too spicy since she's in the hospital. Plus, my friend was craving for their Tom Kha Kai (small) with chicken but not too spicy for $8.72. Now, I was surprised to see that the containers were the same size. They include white rice with any main dish order. When I arrived, my order was ready to go, which is a lovely convenience. My friend thoroughly enjoyed both items. Been coming to this place for years but never again due to FOOD POISONING. My wife and I both got separate entrees, and the only thing we shared was the papaya salad. The salad smelled a bit off, but I know that Asian foods sometimes smell different due to fish sauces and such. That night we both felt unwell. The next day we both puked our guts out and what did we find? Half digest papaya salad. I can't say I'm ever coming to this restaurant again if they can't abide by standards to keep their salads from going bad. I'll also be reporting this restaurant to the health board. read more
