    Corn Egg Drop Soup

Been awhile I updated review here ! With Under the new management the Lunch Specials are from Monday thtough Sunday now till 3 pm! We were served ice cold water in a stainless cup which they used to clear plastic glass! What an upgrade and classy!!! Soups ( hot sour or egg drop) are only served with the dine in lunch specials which comes with chosen dish , rice and an egg roll ! Our specials came in generous portion! Hubby chose the Fried pork snd fried bean curd and veggies while I ordered one I never ordered ala carte ... sweet and sour pork!!! They were all flavorful and just seasoned right!!! Our server gave a great welcome and service! Can't wait to try the other specials cause with just the two of us we don't have to order ala carte which we couldn't finish !!! Mind you we cleaned our plate no leftovers!! Yeah!!!

For the price and food - everything is a 10/10. Service is so kind and direct. My family (my parents, my two younger siblings, and I) have come to really enjoy visiting Red Chilli to grab a family dinner. We purposely order more for food the upcoming week too when the schedule becomes busy. Our favorites are the following: R60 house Special Chow Mein R29 Spicy Stewed fish with boiled vegetables R11 Shredded pork in spicy garlic sauce 42 Mongolian beef For those who love spicy foods, depending on whether you are one who eats the peppers or not, take your choice and prepare for a journey! All the foods that have been made have a flavor that catches something reminiscent of home. Service is incredibly kind, attentive, and family oriented. The ambiance is warm. I'm attending school around the area, and I can't wait come many more times! God bless you all.

They did my General Tso Chicken Bowl Right!!! It was delicious and the presentation was stellar. I cleared the bowl. The price was great and the service was greater!!! My friend had the Honey Walnut Shrimp and loved it.

Excellent food, fast service. I would have given a 5 star review BUT!! Egg shells! I can't take it! While the egg drop soup and the chicken fried rice were excellent, that egg shell crunching in my mouth caused shivers! Otherwise it is very good, and I will be back! My entire family enjoyed it, minus the egg shell. Did I say we didn't like the egg shells?

Today it was about 5 min wait! It went by fast! But because of Valentine's Day no lunch specials. That's ok there's so much to choose from. I ordered the fish filet in black bean sauce and my wife ordered chow fun with assorted meats. The food was good! The fish was steamed and I wanted it fried with the tofu.

Well, I am pleased to report that ceramic dishware and silverware are now in use here for on-site dining. And real teacups are now employed instead of Styrofoam containers to hold hot tea. The cooking here was always superior. Now the trappings of a serious restaurant have caught up to it. This time we began again with Wonton Soup. The broth was very flavorful and the wontons, with mild sausage inside, delectable. Although several vegetables were included, Snow Peas were noticeably missing. Diane again ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp, and this time the shrimps were exceptionally large in size, and the walnuts beautifully glazed with a sweet, sugary coating. I chose Mushroom Chicken, which featured Button Mushrooms and very lean white meat chicken. And House Chow Mein with beef, chicken and shrimp and soft noodles was a triple treat. Service was swift, friendly, and accommodating. Diane quickly received requested extra Honey Sauce for her Honey Walnut Shrimp. And, leftovers including soup were graciously packed and wrapped up for us to take home at meal's end. The only thing preventing this dining experience from rating five stars was an empty paper towel dispenser in the men's restroom. XXXX-1/2 stars overall this time around!

Good and fast service. I ordered egg drop soup, chicken with green beans and shrimp and lobster sauce. All were delivered to my table in minutes. Everything was delicious.

Food: wow every dish we got here was so satisfying and just delicious! My favorite was honey walnut shrimp, perfectly fried with crunch on the outside, and really good sweet glazed sauce, walnuts were great addition, I couldn't stop reaching for it! My friends also got general tso's chicken which was sweet/sour/mild spicy with bits of pineapple and veggies mixed in, and deep fried chicken which had good amount of spice to really add to the flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, definitely will be coming back more often for to go orders Price: pretty reasonable, each entree dish ranged about $10-13 and the specials were like $15-16, really good pricing compared to some other places I've been to, and this has better food quality and bigger portions Ambiance: typical Chinese restaurant vibes, great for families and little children too, mostly casual hangouts, clean and well lit inside Service: good, did not have any issues ordering and getting our food. My friend had asked for water without ice, but they forgot and still brought ice water, which is minor thing. I got my hot water correctly as requested however Parking: restaurant is located within a big strip mall complex with associated free parking spaces available in the lot, no issues finding a spot here

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so we were able to sit anywhere. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Beef, and the food did take some time to come out--which usually signals that it's made fresh, and that part was appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed due to the atmosphere. The kids sitting at the table next to us appeared to be the owner's children, and they were very loud and running around the dining area. There didn't seem to be much effort to keep things under control, and it made the environment feel unprofessional. At times, it honestly felt more like being at Chuck E. Cheese than a sit-down restaurant, which took away from enjoying the meal. The service itself was okay, nothing terrible, but the lack of attention to the disruptive noise was disappointing. Final Thoughts: The food was decent and seemed freshly prepared, but the noisy environment--especially with the owner's kids running around--really impacted our visit. Because of that, I'm not sure we would come back again.

I've grown up in the area and have branched out to living all over california. However the sense of entitlement the locals here have is insane. China Town Fast Food has delivered good tasting AND affordable Chinese-American food for quite some time! The portions are the best bang for your buck in the Loma Linda area, and the staff is also very nice. There are language barriers to some extent and a plastic wall that could make it hard to hear for both the customer and the server, but pointing fingers at the food and putting extra emphasis on enunciating my words have always helped, and if they can't hear, both the customer and the server can go to the side to hear each other clearly. The place is also small and can easily get packed during the rush hour. There are usually only TWO people in the front and a cook in the back, so I believe it's very key to have patience for when you go out during these hours. In all forms of service whether it be food, retail, etc. please remember that they are still human and working at a pace that tries to accommodate for us. In hours closer to closing, it does slow down and it does get quieter, I believe those are the best times to go when it's not so busy. Food wise, I'd highly recommend getting their Orange Chicken and House Special Fried Chicken. The orange chicken has a nice bit of sweetness, tangyness, and crunch to each bite and the House Special is just that... it's SPECIAL! Freshly fried chicken, usually about a 10-15 minute wait. Paired with a side of a garlicky, green oniony, shoyu sauce helps create just the perfect bite when combined with some rice. Their teriyaki chicken is also very delicious with a beautiful char on the outside. It's not your typical, Seattle, Japanese-esque teriyaki chicken, but it will taste very good! I hope this review helps with all the negative feedback I'm seeing and introduces you all to a classic spot to check out. Enjoy the food and have a great day!
