My wife, daughter and I went to Red Chili on Friday, being that we were in the area and we were looking for some asian food. First let me say that I have been here once before and I really liked it, but this last time blew the previous time out of the water! The wife and I do not eat meat on Fridays (we are traditional Catholic) and so we were looking for items that were either fish based or vegetarian. For this reason all the items we ordered were shrimp based. Well we ordered the kung pao shrimp, the shrimp in lobster sauce, the singapore noodles (shrimp based) and the shrimp chow fun. I ordered this much, because whenever we go to most asian restaurants the plates are rather sparse. Well, let me tell you...the plates were far from sparse-smile*. In fact, the plates were so filled that we were wondering how much of the food we would be taking back with us. First let me say that I was REALLY impressed by the amount of shrimp that came with each plate. There were so many shrimp and they were fresh and large. I couldn't take a bite without getting a shrimp. This was especially true with the shrimp and lobster sauce. Secondly, the food was flavorful. This was especially true of the Singapore style noodles. I found myself going back again and again to the Singapore noodles. In fact, I think my wife was getting a little frustrated telling me, "Save some for us."-hahaha*. Thirdly, the staff was very friendly. The owner came over several times to see how we were and ask if we needed anything. Her concern was that we were happy and satisfied with the food. Lastly, the prices were good. Even after ordering another Singapore Style Noodles to go, I still payed just $100. That was for 6 items and drinks. Nowdays, one could spend a $100 for just 2 people, and still feel hungry at the end of the meal. The only thing that I would suggest is that they put my chiles in the spicy food. I like my kung pao VERY spicy. If they had put in 8 or 10 more chiles the kung pao would have been perfect. I would highly recommend Red Chili read more

This is hands down our FAVORITE Chinese food place of all time! The food is so flavorful and decently priced - you get so much food! The service is great and the food is always ready on time when we pick it up. My absolute favorite is the wonton soup because you get all kinds of goodies and fresh veggies in it and it's so comforting. We also love the orange chicken, sesame beef, the boiled fish in chili sauce (it's very spicy but sooooo good with rice). If you want something sweet they also have some smoothies with boba. Really, really love this place. There's lots of room to sit and eat or you can order takeout online. Highly recommend! read more

We were served ice cold water in a stainless cup which they used to clear plastic glass! What an upgrade and classy!!! Soups ( hot sour or egg drop) are only served with the dine in lunch specials which comes with chosen dish , rice and an egg roll ! Our specials came in generous portion! Hubby chose the Fried pork snd fried bean curd and veggies while I ordered one I never ordered ala carte ... sweet and sour pork!!! They were all flavorful and just seasoned right!!! I love mapo tofu and it was really good until I noticed the tofu looked weird. I'm very positive the tofu had mold , it wasn't spice or pepper, I'f it is mold it's concerning and makes me question the kitchen environment. I ordered take-out for a small family gathering and this place did not disappoint. The containers for our orders came in aluminum foiled steam pans pipping hot. We ordered several different dishes: Honey walnut shrimp, lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, and house chow fun with chicken. The honey walnut shrimp was crispy and juicy, the prawns used were large and the nuts added to the dish were a nice touch, Mongolian beef was also flavorful and well made, and the chow fun dish reminded me of Pad See Yew in its use of wide flat noodles but the Chow Fun had a nice smoky flavor, wasn't spicy, and the beef was tender. As you enter the restaurant the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff that took my order was knowledgeable and patient as I perused the menu. For the price and food - everything is a 10/10. Service is so kind and direct. My family (my parents, my two younger siblings, and I) have come to really enjoy visiting Red Chilli to grab a family dinner. We purposely order more for food the upcoming week too when the schedule becomes busy. Our favorites are the following: R60 house Special Chow Mein R29 Spicy Stewed fish with boiled vegetables R11 Shredded pork in spicy garlic sauce 42 Mongolian beef For those who love spicy foods, depending on whether you are one who eats the peppers or not, take your choice and prepare for a journey! Well, I am pleased to report that ceramic dishware and silverware are now in use here for on-site dining. And real teacups are now employed instead of Styrofoam containers to hold hot tea. The cooking here was always superior. Now the trappings of a serious restaurant have caught up to it. This time we began again with Wonton Soup. The broth was very flavorful and the wontons, with mild sausage inside, delectable. Although several vegetables were included, Snow Peas were noticeably missing. Diane again ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp, and this time the shrimps were exceptionally large in size, and the walnuts beautifully glazed with a sweet, sugary coating. I chose Mushroom Chicken, which featured Button Mushrooms and very lean white meat chicken. And House Chow Mein with beef, chicken and shrimp and soft noodles was a triple treat. Service was swift, friendly, and accommodating. Diane quickly received requested extra Honey Sauce for her Honey Walnut Shrimp. And, leftovers including soup were graciously packed and wrapped up for us to take home at meal's end. My favorite was honey walnut shrimp, perfectly fried with crunch on the outside, and really good sweet glazed sauce, walnuts were great addition, I couldn't stop reaching for it! Found a bug in my food I ordered noodles from this restaurant and was really disappointed. After eating some, I noticed there was a bug (looked like a cockroach) mixed in with the food. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I stopped eating immediately and told the workers, but the experience already ruined my meal. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their food safety and cleanliness because this should never happen. I also plan to report this to the San Bernardino County Health Department for inspection. read more

We were seated with the server pointing at the booth and then walking away. We waited a long while before a menu was given. We wished to order an appetizer to be there before the meal, but it seemed like we were being rushed. We ordered and the soup was brought out quickly and it was tasty . When the main course was ready, it was delivered to the table piece meal instead of all at once.
