No matter how many times I've been here the quality, the flavor, the ambience does not change. This is genuinely the best Ramen shop I've ever been to. I only get their vegetarian creamy broth, Ramen with the crispy tofu and two boiled eggs. I can't eat the other ones cause they have pork broth in them. With that being said the Ramen is so delicious you don't need meat. The people are so nice, they're so patient and they're gonna answer every question that you have even if they've heard it 1 million times. I recommend this place to any in every Ramen lover anybody who needs some hot soup or a fulfilling meal because you're gonna eat half of it there and have to take the other half home. Pretty decent ramen spot overall. The broth was rich and flavorful, and that's honestly the most important part when it comes to ramen--and they delivered on that. That said, there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. First, the presentation of the food wasn't very appetizing. Taste-wise it was good, but visually it could definitely use some work. Second, I really dislike it when servers don't write down orders. Top tier ramen at ramen koko! We got the spicy tonkotsu ramen which comes with bean sprouts, green onion, seaweed, spicy paste, and egg in a creamy pork broth. It was so good we forgot to take a pic before we started digging in. The broth is perfect as it comes and did not need any additional ingredients. We choose the mild spice which was perfect along with yellow noodles. Also a perk that the restaurant is open until 11pm on Friday for a late night bite. First let me start by saying someone recommended this place to me so I thought I would give it a try. I noticed when I arrived that there were people waiting outside but I was seated rather quickly since I was alone. They did a quick clean on the table that was still pretty wet when I was seated and smelled like fabulouso. I ordered the pork Gyoza pan fried to start and it took awhile to come out. The presentation was beautiful but they were extremely cold. The waitress said she didn't see them up there ready and asked if I wanted them remade and I agreed. When they arrived back to the table I noticed that it was actually the same plate of Gyoza that I sent back with one missing. All they did was slightly warm them back up but the middle was still cold! I then ordered the spicy miso ramen with pork and added chicken. The broth was pretty good but they forgot my chicken. When the chicken was brought to me it was cold also. At this point I was ready to just be done and leave the restaurant. I waited 30 min while watching the waitress serve everyone around me but not coming to my table. Again I started smelling fabulouso and seen that indeed the tables were being cleaned with it and that alone gave me such a headache. Wow! I can't believe it has been so long since visiting RamenKoko, and that is a loss for me. Two of us arrived early, about 20 minutes before our four guests. We took the opportunity to try the Fried Calamari, which was nicely breaded and fried Calamari rings. The result was a very tender and tasty appetizer. The dipping sauce tasted like 1000 Island dressing with some chili sauce. I found it tasted better after squeezing in the included lime wedge. However, the Calamari itself stood on its own. Later, we tried the Octopus Balls with Bonito topping appetizer as well, and it was interesting, particularly the topping. This one is likely best for sea food lovers, and I really liked it. Our party ordered different ramen combinations since at RamenKoko you pick your broth, then your protein, then your noodle. I had the Spicy Creamy Miso at the Spicy level, with pork belly, and green noodles. Wow, this was a very, very good and filling ramen. The broth was perfectly murky, perfectly spiced, and served with a soft egg over the noodles. The dish was very filling with a good balance of broth to noodles. Others tried the Miso and Spicy Miso, and Truffle broths, with green, white, and green noodles, and all with pork belly. One ramen was ordered with chicken. One of our guests wasnot a Ramen eater and had a rice bowl. Everyone ate well and were happy with their meals. Service was good and prices were very reasonable. Do note that the tip recommendations on the check are based on the tab total, including food, beverage, AND tax. Traditionally, tipping is based on a percentage of the food and beverage tab BEFORE tax. Why should anyone pay a tip on tax?? Our service was good, so she got about 25% based on the tab before sales tax. Many restaurants well tell you the tip recommendation feature is set by the software being used. Well, they are using non customer friendly software and need to require more from their vendor. read more

Service and restaurant ambience and cleanliness was a solid 5/5 here. I tipped for this alone. The ramen, however, while quite delicious overall, I found the broth to be a bit lacking in flavor... but everything from the egg to the meat, even the bamboo (which I don't normally take into account) was quite delicious all things considered... hence the odd 3.5 rating. They open right at 5 p.m. The earliest pick up time was 5:15p.m. At 4:57pm there was already one person waiting for it to open. They opened at 5:01 p.m. He said that my order should be right up. It took about 10 minutes. I got the spicy tonkatsu. It was so good! It definitely had a kick but not too bad. The soup was rich. Her was a good amount of pork belly. This is one of my favorite Ramen places, hands down. I've had the creamy vegetarian ramen and the truffle shoyu ramen and they are both very tasty and delicious. Other reviewers have stated that the vegetarian was overly salty, but I haven't had that experience. Everything has always been perfectly seasoned. I have been eating here 1-2 x a week these past few weeks and feel terrible because I haven't left a review yet. As I type this, I am waiting on my current order to be delivered and I got something new to try this time...Sweet Chili Fried Chicken. I'll update once I've tried it...UPDATE: So yes, the sweet chili chicken was crispy, sweet, and a tad bit spicy but not much. I thought it was good, but I probably will just stick to the ramen in the future. I'd give it a 3/5 if I was to rate it. I have not been to the actual, physical location, but I do order through Uber Eats and it's always been packaged very well, no spills, and they staple the paper bag so that there is no tampering with the food. Overall, this is a great place for Ramen. They don't have much else on their main menu, so it is kinda limited on options, but you won't be disappointed. read more

The guy working tonight was very nice and the staff was attentive. I liked the decorations of old vintage movies. My boyfriend got the tonkatsu ramen with chasu (braised pork belly) and I got the spicy miso ramen also with chasu. Both so incredibly delicious. The tonkatsu was creamy and flavorful. We came here Friday 02/07/25 around 5:30pm and it was already a full house with dine in and orders pick up. There were 2 kitchen workers and 1 waiter. The waiter was by himself doing dine in, order pick up and taking phone orders. It was overwhelming but not once did he showed it. We sat down 20 minutes later and didn't place an order 30-35 minutes after seating. Took about another 25 minutes to get our food, appetizers and ramen came at the same time. The owner came around that time and he was on the move! Getting orders out asap. Besides the wait time the food is always fire. Next time I'll come 2-3 hours after evening opening. read more

Came here after a disappointing day looking for snow with a group of three other adults, two teenagers and a toddler. It was some of the best tonkatsu I've had; I ordered it with pork belly and the traditional thin noodles. I added ginger and their fermented bamboo (I think it was called menna or menma?) and just a bit of chili paste. It was all so flavorful! Like a whole orgasmic experience. Apparently I was the only one in my group who likes the soft boiled egg. Too bad I need to be watching my cholesterol or else I may have eaten more than just two haha. In addition to the ramen, we started with an order of calamari, two orders of gyoza: one pan-fried and one deep-fried. They were all great. Plenty of parking with a few other eateries in the same shopping center. The only downside was that it was small inside, like they're usually probably accustomed to parties of 2-4 maybe 5, but they accommodated our big group of 7.
