    Galbi combo

Galbi beef is not tender at all. Its rubber. Hard to chew. Need to tenderise , pressure cooker or something. Waste of money. Ended up throwing it away.

I come here often but realized there wasn't any new photos of their menu so thought I make sure to include that for anyone needing that information as I know the website might not be accurate always. Great food as always!

    Upon entry

The storefront is located to the left of wingstop and the next to the vision center. Was offered a sample of baked potato with sour cream upon entry. The interior space is clean. However seating is limited. Noticed most orders seemed to be to-go. The food is Korean and Korean fusion. I ordered the chicken katsu curry. Wait time was roughly around 10 minutes which is not bad. The curry was decent. Felt like a balanced meal. The chicken katsu didn't really have flavor it's mostly the sauces that have flavor. Pricing is about $13-21 for a meal just something to keep in mind. I've had the bulgogi and it's really good. Might try the sushi next time or the yakisoba.

Service/wait: - came around 12pm on a Tuesday, no wait - service was okay. There are a lot of items on the menu that were out of stock but not updated - nice people, just confusing ordering system. The menu prices are also not up to date as well Tuna Sashimi: - good but not the best. Expensive for the amount received in my opinion Salmon Bibimbap Bowl: - came with raw fish btw, not cooked salmon, for anyone looking to order! - this was good to me, tasted like a poke bowl. Fresh salmom but not the freshest but all the toppings in it were delicious

Food is well prepared. Very reasonably priced. I was surprised by the portion size, I got the Chicken Fried Rice, I was eating on it for a few minutes and it didn't even look like I had put a dent in it, much more than what it looked like at first glance. Got my food to go, so cannot speak for the atmosphere of the restaurant, while waiting there was modern pop music playing at a reasonable volume. Gentleman that took my order and lady that brought the food out were both very kind, patient. I also got a Thai Tea Boba drink - just know that it comes with A LOT of Boba; could not taste the Thai tea, wasn't sure if it was because the flavor here is so subtle or it was being over powered by all the boba. This was disappointing but wouldn't stop me from visiting again. Very pleased with my experience

The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This restaurant is great for groups of all sizes. We'll definitely be back to try more items.

I am used to soon tofu soup having multiple levels of spiciness. Also no raw egg is offered without the soup, this I also found odd. Also, banchan was very disappointing. This is what makes the meal for me. Kimchi was not fermented enough and was a pale orange color, fishcake was not offered without you asking, there were no cucumbers, scallion pancake, seasoned bean sprouts, potatoes, or noodles. The flounder offered was very tasty but again, offered at the end of the meal when we were wrapping up. I'm used to this being offered at the beginning or during meal. I think I would only go back if they ramped up their banchan but I did ask, and they said they won't really rotate their banchan :( staff was very attentive but the food will make or break it for me. Hoping I can retry in the future once they're more established.

Don't want to be sweating while you're eating. Coming from highland/redlands, I am happy that there is a ayce kbbq spot in close proximity. Starting with cons: the parking is absolutely terrible. Parking spots are cramped and there's simple not enough spaces, especially during peak times. Pros: now as a long time ayce bbq lover, I understand that red castle quality is not top tier and I don't expect it to be when I go. I view red castle as an affordable joint to get my brisket and beef belly fix, which are the only two items that I basically get. It's odd reading about others experience with service, because every time I go, the service is always fast. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down. But to enjoy ayce protein for ~25 bucks without having to clean and prep a solid meal, many would realize the true gem that is Red Castle. I remember when their ayce was 13-15 bucks when they opened. Those were the days. I'm also glad that they allow single dining during the week. Not something that I'm able to take advantage of most of the time bc of work but I'm glad it's offered. To all the kbbq snobs (I'm one of them still). Go pay 40 for ayce somewhere else and be happy. Red castle is my go to for a quick fix that is close to home and affordable.

I wouldn't call this place BEST in the IE even if call it a place that's somewhat budget friendly in addition to a service fees and adding on the tip for service that's bare minimum. Quality of meats very fatty & poor & the ban chan (side dishes) are extremely overly saturated with sauce and Kim chi that wasn't fresh it was more on the SOUR and just disgusting in flavor , texture and color it doesn't seem Authentic if you know the difference of real Kim chi from other restaurants. Made several attempts to flag our server which seemed flustered and overwhelmed just for ordering extra meats and replenishing our beverages was such a huge in convenience. For KBBQ definitely in this order I'd say .. local restaurants I'd rather go to Wang Cho in riverside or chino hills U grille 2 spots in Rancho Cucamonga and As far as ayce self serve Koreana grille Riversde . If you wanna travel out hit up Orange County , Rowland heights , LA , SGV for the real deal . Would i dine here again , negative it's disgusting and poor quality of meats very fatty and rubbery texture and ban chan & soups that aren't authentic this restaurant is catered to a particular budget demographic and everything isn't just poor quality. The meats were fresh and flavorful, especially the beef options, and if you enjoy Korean BBQ and eating lots of meat, this is definitely a great spot. They also serve complimentary Korean side dishes, and the staff kept refilling them throughout our meal. The service was friendly once we were seated, and everyone was attentive during dinner. There were a couple of things worth mentioning. When we first arrived, no one greeted us, so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes unsure whether to wait or seat ourselves. The seating is also a bit tight, especially during busy hours. One helpful tip for future diners: go early. Yelp still shows they're open until midnight, but when we visited, they actually closed at 10:30 PM, with last call around 10:00 PM. We arrived a little after 9 PM and only had about 30 minutes before last call, so next time I'd definitely plan to get there earlier. We spent about $42 per adult, and kids are charged based on their height. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good, and I'd happily come back. Just arrive a little earlier so you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
