Good 3/5 Portions were decent, brisket was a bit too lean for my liking and too tough. Beef belly was great! Not a big fan of their corn cheese, it had some peppers on it and was a bit weird. Everything else was fine, decent kbbq spot. We also tried the thai tea bowl which was too milky. Service 5/5 They were very quick and on top of the service. We were a party of 5 and so we had asked for a lot but they did an amazing job with service. Our server was very kind and frequently checked on us. After ordering it probably took less than 3 mins for the food to come out. ambiance 4/5 Nothing too special about the place. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking and other stores. The interior itself was decent, lots of seating for big groups.

I'm grateful to have a Korean BBQ spot in Riverside. I just found out about Wang Cho and was happy to give them a try. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and was seated very quickly. Almost no wait around 1pm. I was also pleased with the price point. AYCE ranges from $30, $35, and $40 with more premium meats and goods available at the higher price. I went with the $30 "Prince" menu. The food was good. Not amazing, but good. Meat was sliced very thin. I liked the marinated boneless beef that my server recommended the best. She was spot on and very attentive. The only reason for a little lower rating was the ventilation. My table was good, but as I walked to the restroom and when leaving I was bombarded with smoke from several tables. After just a quick pass through my hair and clothes smell like BBQ smoke and my senses were overwhelmed. As I said, my seat was fine, I didn't have any problems while I was eating. This only happened in the front of the restaurant. Overall, a good experience and decent value.

Our server Bell is very attentive and attends to our needs, checks on us often, food is good portion and meat is cut perfectly, not too thick not too thin, just right.

Solid 4 Stars. I often say "it's not bad," especially coming from L.A. where Korean BBQ standards are pretty high, so I'm sometimes surprised to find a decent spot in the Inland Empire. Wang Cho Korean BBQ is one of those places. The meats were tender and solid for the price and definitely not bad value-wise. The ambiance, music, and overall vibe were great, and service was quick despite how busy it was. The restaurant was pretty chaotic at times, but the servers still did a decent job keeping things moving. Just a heads up: it does get very busy on the weekends. We came on a Saturday night and waited about 45 minutes, which is expected. Overall, a solid KBBQ option in the area if you're craving Korean BBQ without driving all the way to L.A.

Decent kbbq spot in the IE and Riverside area. The brisket here was not that good and was really thin and not that tasty, but the pork belly was my favorite. The bulgogi and beef belly were also decent. They do not have many sides I love, but at least they had rice paper. The corn cheese was okay, though I have had better. The service is efficient and they always check on you for a grill change. I have noticed that the grills here are not great and the meat gets stuck and burnt very easily. We also did not get a booth, so I am not sure how the circular grills work. Our grill had to be changed every so often. The place gets pretty packed and there can be a wait on weekends. It is clean inside and very spacious with two sections in the restaurant. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.

I've come to this place once before! This location is right in the Riverside Plaza, near Nordstrom rack. There is a parking lot right behind it, so parking should always be available! On the weekends, there is a wait time and you sign in for the waitlist. It can take a bit because of that. During the week, you just walk in and a host will seat you. The restaurant is dimly lit, and is elegantly decorated. There is indoor as well as patio seating. We were seated in a booth. I was a little surprised that the restaurant was pretty full. On the tables, there are QR codes for the menu. There is prince, king, and emperor as well as lunch special. Each menu comes with their own price per person. We ordered off the prince and got the angus spicy beef brisket, smoked honey bbq chicken, fire cheese chicken. We also ordered a cold sake nigori bottle. Our food was promptly given and we cooked in on the grill. The servers always made sure to switch it out. For sides, we had rice, rice paper, Mac and cheese, and a noodle. Everything given was delicious! The sake was great! We did have to flag down the waiter for things we needed, wish he had checked in on us more. But other than that, great! I would definitely come again.

Food is great for the price , fast service . We came around lunch hour on a Saturday so its not crowded nor a long line . ordered cali steak, shrimp, beef bulgogi and chicken bulgogi, tofu soup and steam egg. All is great until our steam egg has hair embedded thru it . We notified the waiter and he apologized and gave us free desert. Other than the hair , we will probably come back .

We love coming here to eat. Our waiter Bell was amazing. Lunch special during the week is great.

My daughter and daughter-in-law loooove Kbbq and this is their new favorite spot. I can see why - everything was delicious. It's so close to their house which is dangerously convenient haha We arrived around 5:30 which was the perfect time. We were immediately seated, drink orders taken. Fernando was our waiter- he was excellent - came over soon after to take our first round of meats and sides. I guess my only "complaint" was I wish there was more banchan offered. But I had my fill! And it was all good. I know meat is the star of the show and I did have some but I'm a sides girl and I was happy here. My favorites were when I put garlic shrimp and the kimchi and tofu from the spicy tofu soup on my bowl of rice. What a delicious bite! I also ate my beef with the radish wraps and that was a lovely savory sweet vinegary bite as well. The steamed egg with their super spicy chile was also yummy. I can't wait to come back here! If you're lucky you will get Fernando as your waiter, but honestly, everyone that helped us were great. They also promptly changed out our grill - at least three grill changes haha

My wife and I just had our first Korean BBQ experience, and we loved it. Everything is self-serve, which actually made the experience even better. Cooking the food together at the table made dinner feel more interactive and fun instead of just sitting there waiting for food to arrive. Our favorites were definitely the Spicy Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken, and the kimchi. The meats had amazing flavor and cooked up perfectly on the grill, and the kimchi had that perfect spicy tang that paired really well with everything. What we didn't expect was how intimate the whole experience felt. Since you're cooking and sharing the food together, it naturally made my wife and I talk more and enjoy each other's company instead of just sitting there with our faces buried in our phones waiting for food to come out. It really turned dinner into quality time. Another great surprise was the price -- less than $80 out the door for the two of us, which felt like a great value for such a fun and memorable experience. The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. The Ramen place was closed, so we quickly decided to go get Korean barbecue from 356 Korean BBQ. That was our first mistake of the night. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes for a table, which isn't unheard of considering it was a busy night, we were finally after about 30 minutes seated at a table that was right in front of an open door where the bar was and the entrance was, it was sort of cold that night so every time anyone opened the door, it was super cold. I asked to be placed at another table and was told that there was no other tables available, but people continued to pour in and be seated at the other tables, even after additional tables became open there was still no offer to move us. As I looked around I realized that my boyfriend and I was the only black couple there. This is interesting to note because we were the only ones sat in the worst seating at the restaurant. In the time I was there, I did not see anyone else seated at that table. This to me was considered the worst seating because it's right at the entrance where it's packed there is a lot of commotion. It's extremely uncomfortable being right by the entrance And it was cold that night. As the night went on, they proceeded to serve us a $6 nonalcoholic peach drink that was not refillable and a $16 alcoholic beverage that was less than 8 ounces. Those prices were absolutely crazy. We decided to get premium but let's explore what you get with that premium choice: You only have a hour and 20 minutes to eat. You can only order eight items at a time, some of which you can only order the amount that your party size is, for example the super small Wagyu sushi rolls that are literally the size of a pinky. You can only order two of those if there's two people in your party, they're not unlimited if you pay for premium. Meaning for the whole 1 1/2 of time you are there you only get 2, there are also other items that you can only get 2 of. Lastly, but definitely not least you cannot order whenever you finish your food. You have to wait 10 minute increments to order food. When You visit a Korean barbecue restaurant it is universally understood that you're going to be ordering a lot of food and understood that any food you do not consume will have to pay for the leftover food. Also we kept getting asked all night if we needed anything, but as soon as we did need something, the waiter was nowhere to be found. The cuts of meat at this restaurant do not seem like super quality cuts of meat so I definitely would not recommend this Korean barbecue as a place that has super quality meats. Our bill ended up being close to $200 and for what we got, the service, the quality of the meats and just the ambience. I was not worth it and I will not be returning.
