I was actually in line right behind this customer(LIZABETH) as she wrote this review after, and I had a completely different experience. From the moment she walked in, she seemed frustrated and was speaking to the employees with a lot of attitude. The staff, however, stayed calm, respectful, and professional the entire time. They handled the situation really well and were very kind to me when it was my turn. Customer service goes both ways. The team didn't deserve the tone they were given, and I think they did their best to accommodate her while still following closing procedures. When I ordered, everything was made correctly and the staff was friendly. The only thing I noticed was that they were starting to clean up since it was close to closing time, which is pretty normal for any business. Hate to be this person, but customers don't owe businesses convenience. If your store says it closes at 9:00 p.m., you should take orders up to that time. I arrived tonight at 8:28 p.m. at this location for the first time, treating myself to Nékter. I can make this at home, but this is a gift I'm giving myself. My money, my time, my gas, and my effort showing up at this business mean something and are worth a lot to me. To be told the second I walked in that they had too many online orders and weren't taking any more in-person orders, while the floors were soaking wet and all the chairs were flipped on top of the tables, was not just insulting but a clear message that I have zero value to this business. First-time customer and last-time customer. If you plan to close an hour, or even 40 minutes, before your posted closing time, then change your closing time to reflect that. I ended up going to Juice It Up at 8:40 p.m., and they happily took my order with a smile. What a difference it makes to be treated humanely. read more

This is my local Nekter , the closing time says 9:00 pm walked in at 8:30 pm pm , it looked like they were about to close . Staff really looked unhappy when i walked in i even felt bad because they were cleaning , chairs were up .. this location honestly has the worst customer service .. i wanted to order a protein waffle the girl told me i would have to wait like 15 min because it was shut off .. " she recommended i arrive a little earlier next time ! who dose that ? anyways canceled my waffle order and ordered a smoothie it was disqusting ...i think because i ordered it late or they were upset i walked in at 8:30 pm . the employee did mention they needed to be clocked out by 9:15 pm no overtime.. Again way to much information i don't need to know .. i just wanted a smoothie and a protein waffle before the gym and arrived 30 min before closing ! I walked in at 8:00 PM, and the floor was wet with chairs already put up. I assumed they were closing, so I asked one of the workers. She said, "No, not yet--just don't slip." When ordering, the employee assisting us was rude. I asked a question about one of the pressed juice bottles, and her response was dismissive and unfriendly. I also asked for the bathroom code and was told the restroom was closed. I love Nékter, but I don't think I'll be returning to this location. The staff's attitude and overall customer service were disappointing. It's been a while since I've been to Nekter. This location in Canyon Crest is conveniently located with tons of parking. The interior is pretty small with few seating options. There is WiFi available which is nice if you need to get some work done, but the backless metal seats were so uncomfortable I ended up leaving after a little bit. I tried the protein açaí bowl and pumpkin protein waffles. They were both fine, but I don't think I'll be ordering these again. The bowl was super tart, not adequately sweetened, and had a very slimy sort of mouthfeel to it. The protein waffles didn't taste like much of a treat. I feel like store bought protein waffles have a nice crunch and fluffiness to them, but these were more dense, bready, and soggy from the toppings. The toppings were again very bland and not sweet. The pumpkin stuff on top tasted like canned pumpkin pie mix..? It was a little weird. I appreciated getting a bit of protein in so I'm not mad, but for the price I would have liked if the stuff just tasted a little better. read more

Went here recently and was a first timer trying an Açaí bowl. I got the Peanut Butter Bowl and it was really good. Not sure what kind of peanut butter that was, but wow, so good! Lots of fruit on top and great size. You'd probably need to eat the whole thing right away as the consistency of the base changes and your granola becomes oatmeal. We chose to eat outside and both tables were dirty. Other than that, this was a good spot. read more

I see why this place has such bad reviews. I was rushed as soon as I started making my order, I was going to order more but I was put-off by the employees child-like behavior. He was motioning as if I was taking too long to order, & I just started. I agree with Lizabeth's review, I can only imagine how I would have been treated if I walked in 30 minutes before close. Hey "John C." Are you going to comment on my review also? I'm sure you're either an employee or a friend of an employee that works here. Also, I was the only person ordering in this tiny shop at the time, so the only person aware of what happened is the employee and me. This location has the WORST customer service with an undertone of prejudice. Jazmyne B and whoever she was paired with tonight had aggressive undertones, and were surprised when I matched their rudeness back. After sweltering on the close-by Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Trails, we were quite hot, tired, and thirsty. Canyon Crest is just down the road from the hiking trails, and Nektar is a long-time occupant in this shopping center. After entering the employee's door by accident I corrected the mistake (it really does look like the main entrance) and we placed the orders. I've been here in the past but I suppose outcomes vary from person to person and by location. The drinks take a while to make and there's a constant stream of people, mostly fitness buffs, who pass through. I thought my drink was a little watered-down but it was cold and that's what I needed at that moment. Expensive, so not a regular habit I'd say. Maybe next time I can try something different to see if there's improvement. Why 4-stars? There's promise here, even if I haven't personally experienced it, yet. read more

The drinks are great those are a 5. I would say I always seem to come when they are about to close. One thing they really need to work on is customer service. There have been times where there are 2 employees and they are both cleaning and I have to wait for them to finish cleaning the sink or taking the trash out before they will turn around and help me. Great customer service is you put down what you are doing and immediately help the customer. Cleaning a sink, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash can definitely wait over servicing your customers. You should never be mopping the whole store when you are open. You are causing a slipping hazard for your customers. Things like that can definitely wait until you are closed that way you are providing excellent customer service. I don't know who was working the closing shift at 8pm on Sunday July 20th but they messed up my drink two times and could barely figure out how to make it on the third try, even asking me what was in the drink when I clearly stated from the beginning the Razzy float and even pointed to it every time I tried to RE-ORDER it. I should have just asked for a refund after the SECOND mess up it would have saved me the damn headache. I would give it zero stars if I could. This is my favorite juice bar franchise! I always order and pay for my drinks and/or snacks on the app and it's always ready when I pick up. I visit about 2-3 times a month and when I do, the staff is readily available to help. I usually try to stick to a green juice so I can stay energized throughout the day and feel good. On rare occasions, I'll try a new drink just to mix it up. If I'm in need of a nutritious snack, I'll pick up my drink and grab one of the pre-made chia parfait cups. Really easy to east healthy and on the go. About 2-3 times a year, when I feeling feeling blah or need a digestive reset, I'll purchase their Nekter Cleanse and drink that for the week. The drinks are made a few days before and packed in a very cute re-useable tote bag. You can pick whichever drinks you want for the week and the prices are set. The drinks themselves are really good, I can just drink some on their own and not feel like I am detoxing. My personal favorite ones are: Charcoal Skinny Lemonade + Probiotics, Strawberry Pitaya and Turmeric Skinny Lemonade. The store itself is well-lit, clean, airy and there is 1 public restroom. There is ample parking spaces since it's in a plaza. Their location is also convenient as it's in the Canyon Crest Towne Centre - which is filled with many other essential stores. The staff was very friendly but the drinks tasted horrible in my opinion. I'm not docking stars for the horrible taste since I really don't think there's any way to make the ingredients taste good and maintain the same nutritional value. I expected the drinks to have that strong vegetable parsley-like taste, so don't expect a sugar-loaded drink like the ones you get at Jamba Juice. If you're okay with that, then this is the place for you. The Pink Flamingo Smoothie was okay. It could've used more strawberry or pineapple since it tasted watered down and lacked the umph. The Little Beet Juice had a really gross bitter aftertaste and I probably could've done without the fennel. Like I said before, I expected it to taste like greens, so just keep that in mind.
