I originally found Stick a Cake In It here on Yelp after I moved to the area over the summer. They are a home-based business and ordering is fairly simple. You can pay in cash or PayPal. I've been looking for a chance to order something and found the opportunity when I had to plan my department's offsite. I ordered 5 dozen cake pops (chocolate, vanilla and red velvet) for November. I got a lot of great feedback from my coworkers. One of them even asked me if it was FUDGE. Of course my husband tried some too and loved them so for our potluck, I put in another order. A couple people at my party said it was like eating a TRUFFLE. The cake pops themselves are delicious. My personal favorite so far is chocolate. They aren't too sweet and I like the consistency of them. You have to order a minimum of 2 dozen cake pops. If you want custom colors, special designs, characters etc, that will cost extra. This is the second birthday in a row that I've ordered a cake from Mary, but before I talk about how amazing her cake is let me tell you how this cake came to be. About one month ago: The bf texted Mary asking about prices, flavors, design and what nots. A day or so later the bf ordered a Disney UP cake design that I had wanted...except for the fact that I was extremely picky and kept changing everything! 2 weeks before the pick-up date, Mary called us for confirmation on the cake, and I being the crazy person that I am, chucked the whole UP cake idea away and wanted a Monsters Inc. cake instead. Contacted the owner and accidentally put a lower ratings in "stars" than I actually meant because I haven't tried the product yet, and she contacted me to delete my review because I messed up her ratings on yelp. Terrible. I'm sure the food is great. But I asked her multiple questions, simple enough, In regards to a baptism and she ignored them all and told me to delete my review because I messed up her ratings. Terrible. Definitely leaving my one star now. She also told me to learn how to use yelp.. That's so sad. First, I am not a fan of cake so when cake pops came out I was wary. Never wanted to try it until my cousin had her baby shower.... When I got to the party the display was absolutely beautiful! I perked up a little and started noticing that throughout the party the pops started disappearing! I ninja'd my way to the table and grabbed two. The whole experience was amazing. During the cake tasting, we were able to choose multiple cake flavored, fillings, and icings to try out.
