Urban Dripp is very interesting mix of donuts, coffee, tea, and beer!! Located in the Downtown Riverside, you cannot miss Urban Dripp when driving by! It has a hot pink sign and has interior and exterior seating options. You can park in parking structures or side streets in order to walk towards this location. On a hot summer day, they were blasting the AC which was super appreciated! We came in to cool off and enjoy a beer, after reading their signs! Of course, we opted for a glazed donut, too. The guy at the front was nice and friendly! Super chill. We took out items and sat towards the side, under their large TV. He switched on the TV and ended up playing the World Cup game!! I had drank a nice and chilled Space Dust IPA from the tap and my partner had a Blue Moon. I was very delighted by their glazed donuts which were massive! For $6, it was bigger than our faces; I'm guessing x3 the size of a regular donut. I enjoyed it because it was sweet, doughy, and perfectly glazed. I've been here a few times and it never fails to amaze me. The owner Gilbert is a great guy super friendly and willing to take time to get to know his customers. They have great doughnuts. My wife loves the cheese cake blueberry one. In fact today leah (forgive me if I spelt your name wrong) made one from scratch after I had said my wife loves them. I'm not even a big doughnut person and I can say they are really good. Better than any run of the mill yum yums or krispy kreme. There aren't many mom & pop stores like this in riverside and it's great to see places like this opening and staying in business like this for over 6 years now. I personally love their coffee! My go to is a caramel macchiato. My wife has worked in countless coffee shops & even she thinks it's great. The espresso they use is amazing. The place is really clean and has a very chic atmosphere. Urban Dripp has been one of my favorite Riverside spots for a long time, since back when it used to be called Donut Bar (I still call it that, I like that name a lot more!). I'm a big fan of their branding and decor otherwise, it's so distinctive and fun, it's a great vibe to hang out in! It's located close to the heart of downtown, a short walk away from many parking garages where the first hour is free. I personally love going to the farmers market downtown on the weekend and then stopping here afterwards (parking in the garages is free on weekends I believe) it can also be hard to find a restroom downtown so I appreciate that there are two (code to enter) and they are quite clean. Once you enter the shop, your senses will all be hit at once, you'll smell the aroma of donuts and coffee and your eyes will light up at the hot pink signage and plethora of colorfully decorated donuts! Now comes my favorite part, which donut to choose?! Luckily Urban Dripp has not just one or two, but usually around four different vegan options available!!! I cannot recommend the Apple Fritter enough, if you want a traditional, no frills breakfast-esque sweet treat, this is the crowd pleaser. I'd recommend the Crème Brûlée if you're the type of person who likes hard candies, and the Strawberry Matcha if you like a less sugary sweet donut. I somehow have not had the Chocolate donut yet, but it's on my list! If I could offer some constructive criticism on the Strawberry Matcha donut, as a certified matcha lover, I'd love to see some stronger matcha flavor come through if it's possible! The staff and owner are always friendly and helpful, it's a pleasure coming here! What an amazing find! Have a sweet tooth, need a beer? This place has you covered! Came during the "Festival of Lights" event on a Saturday and discovered this hidden gem. While they offer parking nearby, you were not able to park in front of this establishment during the event. I opt for a creme brulee donut and while it didn't taste exactly like I was hoping, it was delicious, nevertheless. We also ended up getting a pineapple mimosa. It was a first for me and interesting. The have a one-way line in and out, which makes it easy once inside. We are lucky to have stopped when we did as we only had a few people in front of us and then the line grew extremely long outside. There is a rather decent sized patio outside to enjoy your sweets and alcoholic beverages or non-alcoholic beverages. Clean restrooms inside. However, there is no exit outside, you must go back inside to exit. Would definitely check this place out again and if you are in the area, definitely come by and check this place out, they offer sooo much! Hands down the fluffiest and doughy doughnuts ever! These babies are dense and big, I got half a dozen because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My favorites were the strawberry shortcake, simply strawberry, and the salted caramel. The creme brûlée was good but the crystallized sugar top was on the thicker side, was hard to bite into. I really enjoyed the strawberry oat milk too, it was creamy and not overly sweet. The jalapeno ham and cheese croissant is also quite huge. I ate it later on in the day and it was super moist inside to the point where it was soggy. However, it was still delicious! We stopped by on a Sunday morning around 8:30am and it was not busy at all but there was just one worker there who was very nice. It was still warm and moist, and you can taste all the flavors in the donut. I got an ice chai tea latte, with oat milk. Let me just say, for someone who travels for a living and been to all states and countless countries; this was the best chai tea I've ever had. I usually do skim milk but they only have oat or almond milk and I hate the taste of almonds, so I did oat milk and I'm pretty sure that is how I'll take my chai lattes now.
