I would like to start off by saying this place is really cute. There was plenty of tables available and they have an upstairs area as well. Thankfully downstairs had tables. They also had a bathroom and it was really clean. Parking was a little hard since it's street parking and I don't want to pay for parking just to have some coffee. I would come here to do some work if I have to. Now let's get into the coffee and food. I had the mazapan latte & it was ok. I do like that it was strong but if I'm getting mazapan, I would expect some sort of sweetness which I didn't get from the coffee. I also had a churro muffin. It was good. Just wish it was given to me warm. However, that could have been my fault if they asked. I probably just didn't hear the cashier. That being said, I would come to try them out again. read more

Coffeecito House is really a house. A coffee cafe in a two-story Victorian house on a side street near downtown Riverside. I had time to kill before a meeting so I stopped here for some coffee and a snack. There are tables and chairs on both floors plus some comfy seating upstairs and several tables outside in the yard area. I ordered a hot Catalana Latte (infused with caramel, vanilla, and a hint of blood orange) plus a couple selections from their tempting pastry case - a cinnamon roll and a lemon twist. As an aside, they also have some lunch items like empanadas. I sat at a window counter that looked out into the yard. The latte was fantastic with both caramel and vanilla flavors present and with some sips I had that hint of citrus. The lemon twist was delicious with a light lemon flavor while the warmed cinnamon roll, like all the best ones, got more cinnamony and moist as I got to the center and the frosting was at a perfect medium-sweetness. I still had a half full cup of my large latte after finishing my pastries so I went upstairs and sat on the couch for a while, staring out the window while checking emails. Located at the corner of 12th and Almond Streets. This coffee shop is easy to miss, look for a white two-story beautiful 1900s Victorian house, as the signage is right on the front door. I tried the hot 'Dulce De Leche' (espresso, vanilla, and condensed milk). It was perfectly balanced, smooth, and simply enjoyable. I also paired it with a warm cinnamon pecan crisp mini roll, which was excellent. Customer service was great, every staff member was friendly. The two floors of seating are clean, cozy, and inviting. Upstairs is perfect for studying or getting work done. There's also outdoor seating. As a first-timer, I was impressed. Where do I start with this coffee house? I ordered the signature horchata latte, yum! I also ordered the cubano sandwich and the cinnamon pecan crisp. I'm a sucker for a good cubano. When I ordered I asked if there was cheese, typical of a cubano but not listed, the lady said no, I wanted cheese. I got the sandwich and it was very hot, good sign, the box was small, not a great sign. I opened it and it did have cheese and I could see shredded and sliced ham, yum! I let it cool, picked it up and there was a pool of oil and juice at the bottom. I tried to take a bite and could barely get my teeth into the bread, very hard, I know it supposed to be toasty but it was hard. Then I cut it in half. I really enjoyed the flavors, the house made sauce was amazing and so was the ham. The bread was too crunchy and turned me off as well at the pool of oil. For the price of $13 it was an ok sandwich. My total for all three plus a tip was $30, I little steep for lunch. I will try something else next time. read more

The decor is thoughtfully done, and the second floor is especially pretty, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay for a while. I heard they have board games or some kind of games upstairs, but I didn't get a chance to fully explore. The staff were really nice and took their time making the drinks, which I always appreciate. We ordered the lavender matcha, pistachio latte, matcha latte, and horchaita, and overall the drinks were solid. Personally, I didn't think the matcha itself stood out too much, and it leaned a bit on the sweeter side for me. However, the lavender cold foam was really good and added a nice touch to the drink. Coffeecito is a cool shop that is so neato! A place I would like to take you so why don't ya venga conmigo. I'll order two cups and find a spot where I can sit contigo. Feel at home and relax and take off your abrigo. You know this a dope spot if you're hanging with this Chico. So check it out, I ordered one of the specialty drinks and a drip and they were legit. My first drink was their Catalana Latte that came with vanilla with a little hint of blood orange and infused with caramel. Maaan, that was pretty good and the drip coffee held its own. Ok so the drinks were good and the atmosphere so chill with a cool college vibe playlist which I was really enjoying. They have a downstairs and upstairs space as well as outside seating with a cozy little patio. The service was like the drinks, cold and hot and hopefully next time the baristas will be on the same page. As far as the dine in service, only if you order the drip coffee which doesn't make sense but oh well, house rules I guess. Again, hopefully it will be available someday because it would really make the experience so enjoyable. But this is definitely a sweet spot and you really don't find these places anymore so come out and support and keep these gems alive. Someone took me to this very cute historical home restaurant. The decor has an authentic cultural aesthetic and comfortable atmosphere. The owner greeted us and was very welcoming. I decided to try the lavender blossom matcha and veggie egg bites. The lavender cold foam was very good however the matcha was milky and didn't have ceremonial grade matcha in it. The egg bites were bland with a lot of cheese on top. The baristas told me everything was pre-mixed and I think the food quality would be better if it were made fresh. this is one of the cutest cafes i've been to! i must be honest and say my caramel crème top cold brew was very watered down and acidic and you could barely taste the flavor. i regret not getting it fixed but it got busy then i had to leave. the cinnamon roll was good and very sweet but when i asked for it warmed up, it was barely warm when i got to eat it, which was 2 minutes after i got it. i have heard a lot of good things about this place so i think their lattes may be better than the cold brew. their other food and pastry options look good too so hoping i just chose bad. besides that, the order came out quick and the workers were kind. the best part about this cafe is the aesthetics and the atmosphere. this is a great place to study or hangout with friends. i believe you do have to pay for parking but i walked here. would def give it another shot despite my first visit being just okay read more

I've been to Coffeecito in Downtown Riverside a few times and I want to like it so bad because the setup is genuinely cute. It's in this old Victorian-style house, two stories, lots of seating, charging ports, outdoor space, very "bring your laptop and work" energy. But every time I've gone, the actual coffee has been such a letdown. I've ordered their horchata latte twice before and both times it tasted watered down, which is honestly criminal because horchata lattes have so much potential. This time I went in because it was conveniently located near an errand I had to run, and I figured I'd try a regular latte with sugar-free syrup and one of their egg bites. The latte was fine, nothing life-changing, but the egg bite? No. In my head I was expecting something similar to Starbucks, but it came out looking messy and thrown together, like something I could've made at home half-awake and probably better. It had way too much cheese and just felt lazy. Before all that, the cashier also had a really off attitude with the people in front of me. Not toward me directly, but she came off kind of smart with this older couple, and I could tell they felt uncomfortable. For a small business coffee shop, customer service matters so much, and the energy was just not it. Great coffee nice style of shop, literally a nice house design, such a nice vibrant place to go. Coffee is always fresh and up to date, menu is always updating and keeping up with the seasons. The service is amazing for the morning shift just two baristas named Em and Izzy getting all the orders done in an efficient way and their customer service great! They had May tickets and knocked them out super efficient. Bakery items super fresh and warm, music played was great and at a nice volume where you'd could hold a conversation and study. I also tried a hot dulce de leche latte, which is a perfect blend of sweetness. Our order was ready within 10 minutes. This cafe is 2 levels, with tables and chairs. The upstairs reminds me of somewhere where the cast on Friends would hang. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor and upstairs. The cafe offers free WiFi for customers working from there. If you are looking for a spot to host, maybe a social, this is a good one. Plenty of groups come to study, work, or chat. It is very welcoming in that way. It's so very home-y and quaint and I immediately fell in love with it!! The service was just as excellent. No wait in the morning and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the chorizo burrito with an iced coffee (cannot remember the name). Both were so delicious and the burrito definitely hit the spot. We've been meaning to come here for so long and we finally had time during our brunch hour to stop by! The building itself is an actual house which is so unique. There's two floors with cute little cafe tables or outdoor seating, as well. The facility was clean and organized. We came on a Tuesday morning around 11am and we were greeted as soon as we walked in which is always a telling-sign for me whether our visit will be pleasant or not. And luckily it was :). There were quite a few customers already but we were able to order right away. The lady taking our order was very kind and helpful, even conversing with us a little bit. They offer breakfast all day which was nice. So we ordered the Bacon & Egg big bite and the Chorizo Burrito. 10/10 for both!! Super delicious and filling. We also ordered the Cinnamon Caramel Cold Foam cold brew and the Churo Oat latte. I would say the both drinks were good but in the sense of strong coffee.
