Ham sandwich All toppings w/ pickles.
    Morgan B.

Had a great experience here and will likely be coming back! I visited for the first time at the beginning of the week in search for a great sandwich and I definitely found one. The woman who helped me order was very sweet and could tell I was a little confused but she explained what all they had and the options for my sandwich. It was a very nice sized sandwich for the grove I think it was max $14 and I was able to cut half of a half and shake that w a family member. The meat on the sandwich was great along w the bread I believe it is baked there and it is so delicious. I got it w all the toppings and pickles added it was an extra 35c but that didn't bother me. It's a small cute shop that clearly people frequent in the area cause at least 8 people where there spread out. Considering that the service was super fast here's table and chairs you can sit at inside and there was also a sitting area across there little parking lot. Vibes greats food even better!

The food at this establishment is delicious!! I was very taken back to my teenage days. Butch's is very old school and the type of place I will come back to again and again! The sandwiches and salads are great!!! They fix the food with love and care about the people and food they serve. Please visit this establishment!!!!!

First time here, how is the experience? Excellent! My all-time favorite sandwich is the Italian and this place does a really good job at it, everything tasted fresh but the one key thing that every sandwich place needs to have is good quality bread. If you have that your customers will be guaranteed to come back. Everything was proportioned perfectly. They do have a few sizes to choose from 6, 8, and 12. It definitely has a nostalgic feel. It looks like the place hasn't changed much which is great. I went with the eight and it was more than enough, if I was back in the area, I would come back and maybe try a different sandwich however, the one that I got was really good.

Specialty sandwich: any meat (this one is ham), provolone cheese, bacon & avocado. This is on Squaw bread.

The sandwiches are tasty. They use a good amount of meat and plenty of veggies. It's always nice to have a choice of bread at a deli, too. A full sandwich is a pretty decent size. The potato salad and macaroni salad are ok. Nothing to write home about. The employees were friendly enough. There's not really much to say for the ambiance. It's still pretty old school inside, but it's clean. They have a covered outside eating area, which is always a plus on a nice day. As with most places these days, it was pretty pricey. We got three full sandwiches, a large potato salad, small macaroni salad, three small drinks and one slice of cheesecake for $87.

Butch's is great and a convenient spot around downtown to enjoy a meal. I had the Ultimate Italian, which is tasty with the red pepper spread. Make sure to specifically ask for mayonnaise and/or mustard on that sandwich because they're not included.

Bread is so soft, it's perfect. Sandwich is filling and tasty. Macaroni Salad was a nice addition with a bag of chips and an ice cold root beer. Butchs NEVER disappoints, been coming here since middle school 1982!! Service is always polite and professional. There's no tv's or loud music just a nice quiet place for a healthy meal

Love this sandwich spot. Solid good flavors all around - I have never been disappointed here! They have inside & outside seating available, private lot parking. Service has always been friendly.

Always a solid choice for a classic grinder. Substantial sized sandwiches, foot longs, soup and salad. Bottled drinks or chips to complete your meal and oh yes homemade cookies too! Service is awesome with their hometown vibes. Whenever you're looking to support your local community butch's would be a great spot. Shaded outside seating or inside seating now available. Call ahead to place your order to skip the wait.

Really enjoy this place for sandwiches and salads. I would recommend that the staff wear hairnets to insure food safety.

Honestly, the line is mainly due to the customers taking their sweet time while ordering. You might have a hard time finding a table to sit at inside, but they also have outside seating. Price-wise you'll probably spend around $15-$20 per person. I highly recommend their grilled chicken sandwhich. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, all on a toasted sourdough bread covered with pesto and cheese. For the side I typically get the Italian pasta salad, which is always delicious. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

The sticky carmalized bottom and delicious frosting on top was delicious. I also wanted to try their chicken apple sausage and ordered a side. It was decent, I think the baked good was much better though and I'd probably come back to try more pastries and baked goods in the future personally. This is a casual place so you order at the front of the restaurant and then pay in the back. Prices are very reasonable all around across the menu. Plenty of tables but can get busy! Worth checking out if you're in the downtown area.

The first small disappointment was finding out they don't offer mushrooms. As a big mushroom fan, especially on a hot sandwich, that was a bit of a letdown -- but not a deal breaker. I ordered the D'Loaded Cheese Steak, which honestly would've been perfect with mushrooms. When I opened it up, it looked absolutely delicious. The flavor definitely delivered -- I won't deny that at all. It was very tasty. My main issue was the texture and structure of the sandwich. It came out extremely hot and very wet. The bottom of the bread was completely soaked, which made it difficult to pick up without it falling apart. I just wish the bread had held up better so I could've enjoyed it without the mess. Overall, the flavor was great, but I hope they can improve the sandwich structure a bit. I'd be willing to give it another try.

We could've went to a good full service sit down restaurant for much less (tip included). Will we be back? I'd like to say yes but not at these prices. Also the 40 min drive makes it not worth it. Before coming, I…read moredidn't realize they don't offer the typical 1-meat, 2-meat, or 3-meat combo plates like most barbecue spots. The only actual plate option was the chicken. Everything else is sold by the pound, and the sides are all à la carte. We ordered quite a few sides: one spicy mac and cheese, one regular mac and cheese, green beans, two yams, and two beans. The mac and cheese could definitely use more seasoning. The spicy version mainly relied on whatever heat they added but still lacked depth of flavor. The other sides were decent and overall enjoyable. The meat itself was good, but we did receive some noticeably fatty pieces. What I can't get past is the price compared to the portion of meat you actually get. For what we paid, it just didn't feel worth it, and that alone makes it unlikely we'll return. One other thing that stood out was that all the hot food on the steam table and the cold items on ice were uncovered when we walked in and remained that way while we ordered. That really turned me off from trying the banana pudding and potato salad. The food wasn't terrible, but for the price and overall experience, it just didn't quite hit the mark for us.
