I used to order here a lot a year (or two?) ago when coupons were more abundant. I would get orders 50% off with free delivery a lot, so it was a crazy good deal, healthy and macro friendly, and convenient as well. I stopped because they nerfed the coupons and rewards system at some point and it wasn't cost effective anymore. I was excited to get another 50% off coupon recently. The menu is largely unchanged from the previous years, with the addition of like 2 or 3 new plates. There is a lot to choose from with a good chunk of those options being high protein. There's just much more variety than other meal prep services and the meals don't get as boring and repetitive. I was a little annoyed that my order arrived about 40 minutes earlier than scheduled, so I had to rush home from the gym to get it. My impression was that several of the plates felt quite light and looked to have suspiciously tiny portions of protein. You can tell by eyeballing that the provided macros are... optimistic. I couldn't be bothered to weigh every plate, but I did weigh the most obvious offender. The Southwest Chipotle Chicken Bowl claimed to be 411g not including the bowl and it weighed 366g with the bowl. I definitely don't trust the labels, as there's simply no way there's 25g of protein in like an oz of diced chicken. Food was fresh (other than the seafood, which I absolutely do not recommend) and tasted good. Overall, I would sort of recommend for the convenience, but be sure to weigh your bowls so you can make sure you're getting what you paid for. read more

Food is good, but there's definitely some issues with quality control. You can pick up two of the same thing and see massive discrepancies in weight and distribution of ingredients. See the pictures for the huge weight difference between two of the pastas. One of them has less than the net weight, so if that had been the only one I'd purchased, I'd be feeling pretty upset. It also had noticeably less shrimp than the other package, so the macros are definitely off too. Not great for those who are health conscious or tracking macros. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but it was great to see the open seating and pre-made meals on the left side easy to access. The cashier explained that their meals are prepared the same day and packaged so all you have to do is warm up. Of course, I had to try their pasta meal, and a drink. I would definitely recommend trying their mocha coffee- it was the perfect way to start the morning! The pasta was good just wish it had more sauce. The cashier was friendly and welcoming- decided to eat indoors to soak up the vibe. I'll usually grab food for the next couple of days and I always enjoy finding out that I get a discount after some amount of purchases. The people that work there have all been very nice. Always so happy to see healthy food spots open up in riverside! (Apparently this place was on shark tank!) This place is on my way to work so it's been perfect to swing by to grab a healthy meal or snacks before a shift. Side note there's no parking lot but I usually find short term parking on university ave without issues. I will admit it's slightly pricey like 8-9 per meal but I've really enjoyed the things I've tried. They also have a fun assortment of snacks/sweets and serve coffee. I looked online and see that they also deliver and do subscriptions but I found it a shame that there's no discount you get for subscribing. Great place! Very knowledgeable and helpful employee. To the people saying the door is locked, that is for safety reasons, the city can't get a handle on the homeless situation so to keep employees safe, doors must be locked. Just discovered this place thanks to door dash! I've recently changed to meal prepping and forgotten my lunch one day. I browsed doordash and generally healthy food is really expensive and has high delivery fees, then I came across this little gym. The food is basically prep food that I'm accustomed to making now and the flavors are phenomenal without me having to do the work. I don't mind that it's food you need to heat up yourself and I love that the meals are typically $10 or less depending what you're looking for and have some fresh baked items too. I love to support my community and have been coming to Burger Boys for a very long time. Food is good and service is great. However I visited today and was highly upset. I realize that price have change but please don't take it on your regular customers. I order my usual and was so made. I get the rid eye steak with everything on it. I order 3 for my family. At the menu board it advised you of cost change of several items that was not listed new change. My mistake was not asking new price before ordering. So I pulled up and my total for 3 steak sandwich no fries or drink and I included a large drink came to $64.94. I was so dumb founded that my $12.80 sandwich was now $18.90. I am sorry I could have feed my whole family a complete meal in a sit down restaurant for this price. I came for the Grand Opening, and the turn out, seemed to be nice. Upon arrival, there was a female DJ (girlpower) outside, turning up the crowd, and passing out her CD. There was a lot of grab n go selections to choose from. Meals were free, to the first 200 guests, and I was amongst the that crowd. If you tag them on Instagram, you get a free bag of chips or a bottle of coconut water. My food selection was the Chicken Tinga Tacos, and I also purchased a container of cheese ravioli. Naturally they rang me up for the more expensive one to pay for, which were the tacos at $8.55 and the Ravioli was $6.00. I initially was only going to get the free meal, but ended up spending money anyway. The ambience is nice and welcoming and the staff is friendly. If you choose to eat there, they will warm up your food for you. I had my tacos warmed, before I left. They also serve made to order coffee drinks at reasonable prices.
