I used to order here a lot a year (or two?) ago when coupons were more abundant. I would get orders 50% off with free delivery a lot, so it was a crazy good deal, healthy and macro friendly, and convenient as well. I stopped because they nerfed the coupons and rewards system at some point and it wasn't cost effective anymore. I was excited to get another 50% off coupon recently. The menu is largely unchanged from the previous years, with the addition of like 2 or 3 new plates. There is a lot to choose from with a good chunk of those options being high protein. There's just much more variety than other meal prep services and the meals don't get as boring and repetitive. I was a little annoyed that my order arrived about 40 minutes earlier than scheduled, so I had to rush home from the gym to get it. My impression was that several of the plates felt quite light and looked to have suspiciously tiny portions of protein. You can tell by eyeballing that the provided macros are... optimistic. I couldn't be bothered to weigh every plate, but I did weigh the most obvious offender. The Southwest Chipotle Chicken Bowl claimed to be 411g not including the bowl and it weighed 366g with the bowl. I definitely don't trust the labels, as there's simply no way there's 25g of protein in like an oz of diced chicken. Food was fresh (other than the seafood, which I absolutely do not recommend) and tasted good. Overall, I would sort of recommend for the convenience, but be sure to weigh your bowls so you can make sure you're getting what you paid for. read more

I've enjoyed coming here for the past few months. Prices are reasonable and the portions are great. I'll usually grab food for the next couple of days and I always enjoy finding out that I get a discount after some amount of purchases. The people that work there have all been very nice. They are so patient with some of the dumb people that come in there and ask for modifications on food that is clearly pre-made. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but it was great to see the open seating and pre-made meals on the left side easy to access. The cashier explained that their meals are prepared the same day and packaged so all you have to do is warm up. Of course, I had to try their pasta meal, and a drink. I asked if any of the food was prepared on site and was told the cafeteria was nearby. I asked a follow-on question and the male rudely stated, "If you'd let me finish!", We ordered two meals and three drinks. He was pushy despite no one in line. Always so happy to see healthy food spots open up in riverside! (Apparently this place was on shark tank!) This place is on my way to work so it's been perfect to swing by to grab a healthy meal or snacks before a shift. Side note there's no parking lot but I usually find short term parking on university ave without issues. I will admit it's slightly pricey like 8-9 per meal but I've really enjoyed the things I've tried. They also have a fun assortment of snacks/sweets and serve coffee. I looked online and see that they also deliver and do subscriptions but I found it a shame that there's no discount you get for subscribing. To the people saying the door is locked, that is for safety reasons, the city can't get a handle on the homeless situation so to keep employees safe, doors must be locked. Just discovered this place thanks to door dash! I've recently changed to meal prepping and forgotten my lunch one day. I browsed doordash and generally healthy food is really expensive and has high delivery fees, then I came across this little gym. The food is basically prep food that I'm accustomed to making now and the flavors are phenomenal without me having to do the work. I don't mind that it's food you need to heat up yourself and I love that the meals are typically $10 or less depending what you're looking for and have some fresh baked items too. If you like me and just want good tasting food that's reasonably healthy compared to fast food then I highly recommend this place. I love to support my community and have been coming to Burger Boys for a very long time. Food is good and service is great. However I visited today and was highly upset. I realize that price have change but please don't take it on your regular customers. I order my usual and was so made. I get the rid eye steak with everything on it. I order 3 for my family. At the menu board it advised you of cost change of several items that was not listed new change. My mistake was not asking new price before ordering. So I pulled up and my total for 3 steak sandwich no fries or drink and I included a large drink came to $64.94. I was so dumb founded that my $12.80 sandwich was now $18.90. I am sorry I could have feed my whole family a complete meal in a sit down restaurant for this price. I am so sorry to say good bye to one of my favorite places but the valve of my families meal come first. Also the sandwich had a lot less meat than before not worth it any more. read more
