First off shout out to the staff at this location. My department used them for catering a lunch and everything went off without a hitch. I placed my order the day before and received an email to confirm. On the day of the event I arrived between the time and was immediately met with a smile and a hello, "you must be Tish". Once I received my order, due to a mix up our end I had to place a small order to go. The ambiance of the restaurant is super relaxing and cute. Noise level average and seating inside or out. Another plus is they have my favorite drink station! The food was very good, our department did the box lunches which you can add a cookie for $1. I will say the side salad was my favorite. Monday, 11-25-2024: Today I treated my friends from the Communications Squadron as a show of gratitude for going out of their way to help me with all my IT needs on base. This was my last week with my retirement officially happening on 11-30-2024. They chose their favorite eatery, Urbane Cafe since they frequent it due to their delicious sandwiches and salads. They weren't kidding! I chose their BBQ chicken sandwich and it was filling and so tasty. They bake their own bread and you can taste the overall freshness of all the ingredients. I could only finish half so I had leftovers---yay! It's so nice, clean, bright, and modern inside. Even their restrooms were pristine. It's not very big inside but they have outside seating where we feasted on our tasty sandwiches. Thankfully, the weather was ideal. I'm glad there is an Urbane Cafe in Temecula! Food is consistent with other locations. Staff is average. Neither very friendly nor rude. Interior is generally clean. Order accuracy is a problem. If you're eating there, it's easy to get it corrected (forgot chips, forgot side salad, etc). Usually we do pick-up. The bags are knotted super tight but now we take the time to check before we leave. There is always a mistake. Only this location. Temecula and Menifee locations, I just grab my food and go. If you add extra protein, request for it to be on the side so that you can confirm. I used to just count the containers and clamshells through the bag then last time, they forgot to put the side salad for a sandwich. There is almost always something off. If not for this issue, I'd visit this location more regularly. This feedback is based on probably at least 8-10 visits since the location opened. read more
