I'd come back here again!! I saw this food truck at the Arco gas station & was curious about it, so I did a quick google search to check the reviews. The reviews were outstanding, so i decided to order a box to-go to share with my bf. And IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Yes, it's a little pricey but everything is so well seasoned! I forgot the name of the item I got, but the fries were so good!! (I typically hate fries). And the garlic dip we each had was delicious!! The burrito was so good! The server had a thick accent but he was very attentive & helped us on the questions we had. I'm not even from the area but I'll be back to try some of their other popular items! This was the best decision I made all day! Food truck located at the Arco off University and Iowa Ave near the University Village in Riverside, CA. I was in the area for gas but could not resist the inviting aroma from the truck! I was greeted by an existing customer who suggested I try fries, Sharma plate and the burger. I tried the single Burger combo. The meat was cooked to perfection. Grilled, juicy flavor, smooth down my throat! The left over feeling was pure satisfaction, never a heavy feeling you can get from fast food. This was not fast food! It was a crafted masterpiece of flavor. The owner uses a mixture of flavors, with a garlic like sauce that compliments the fries. The fries were also fresh, flavored well and had the cant eat just one affect on me! The location is well lit, busy on the corner if traffic present. Free parking at the arco. The owner was a delightful gentleman. He asked good questions, ensuring I did want the pickles and lettuce, what kind of drink as well as offered me a first time customer rate. Not sure if that applies always but I appreciated the gesture. The prices are very reasonable too. I will return! The flavor, I can not forget. The customer service, I would never not tell someone else about. However, the taste of that burger and fries will have me trying other menu items! Job well done Sir! I want to say it's a 3.5 but setting to 3 as I do want them to improve. The cost to portions is great and there is a lot of potential to it being a great meal. I like the hummus as it doesn't taste store-bought and the salad did hit the spot although forgettable. The pita bread is non-standard which I loved. I actually can't eat a lot of bread and this pita bread being paper thin was the highlight of the meal for me. The one major thing that makes this a 3.5 was that the beef kebab meat was quite burnt. This is with consideration that I had come in a group and we ordered five different dishes at the same time, so probably in the rush to finish all the food in 10 minutes may have resulted in the burnt food. I think they really wanted great service (which I agree was great), but I would be fine to wait longer so they are not rushing. The rice is ok and heavy - I would rate this also a 3.5 but the rest of the meal can definitely raise the score since rice isn't meant to be the star of the meal. This spot, the Mediterranean food truck parked near the Arco. I got two shawarma wraps; one beef and one chicken. The chicken was a bit dry, and the food took a while since they were just opening up, so I'll give them some grace for that. But I waited 30 mins when there was no one in line. The wraps themselves were on the smaller side and nothing too special flavor-wise. Fries were actually really good, crispy and seasoned well. I just wish they gave a little more meat for the price, it felt a bit light on portions. Service was friendly though, and the owner is super nice and welcoming, which made the experience better. My son and I ate here some weeks ago. We've never had Middle Eastern food before this, but the mood struck me and so we tried it. Overall, it was pretty different and good. We weren't thrilled about the skinny fries and my son's were cold, but other than that, it was pretty good. Not something we normally would eat but I would, try it again for sure. read more

Great and friendly service at this food truck and delicious food. We came late on a Friday evening and wanted to eat something vegetarian. The owner was super accommodating and put together a little platter of falafel, dolma, salad, and hummus. Everything tasted perfect, and it's particularly nice to that both the falafel and the dolma were clearly homemade! Stopped by after a movie at Tyler mall. Food truck alley in Riverside is a great spot to find some good food like bon appetite shawarma. First time visiting tried a chicken wrap. Service was very nice and friendly, decent prices for a food truck and didn't take too long to prepare. We took our order to go and it was still nice and hot when we were ready to eat. I'm accustomed to the traditional cucumber. Not really used to cornichon pickles in shawarma but added a nice crunch. The wrap was needing more sauce garlic spread was only plentiful at the last bite. But chicken was nice and juicy. I would definitely return to try more of what they have to offer. read more

I had the pleasure of trying out this food truck located on "Food Truck Avenue" near the Target across from Tyler Mall parallel to the 91 fwy -- another IE foodie hotspot aside from the Food Lab in downtown. I'm a big Medi/Middle Eastern cuisine fan so this truck instantly stood out among the sea of nearby taco trucks. So how's the food? Excellent. Meats are so tender, especially the shish tawook kebabs! It's no frills, high quality, homemade shawarma and kebabs with a simple menu: chicken, beef, or falafel wrapped or combo plated with rice/fries, hummus, and salad. My only complaint? Wish they included more of that creamy, dreamy hummus! The simplicity of their menu is sure to please a wide variety of palates but I do hope they expand to include tabbouleh and eggplant/baba ganoush. read more

Honestly pretty good bang for your back for middle eastern food. Their wraps have great flavor and their plate with fries (which are fabulously seasoned) is a satisfactory meal. They also use the right bread (the thin Arabic/Syrian bread) whereas a lot restaurants nearby use Pita. read more
