Fufu's inside The Food Lab! I was trying to decide between the Chicjem kebab bowl and chicken shawarma bowl for a late lunch at 2 (difficult to make decisions when you're too hungry) so I asked Shakirah the staff person there which she would recommend. She said definitely the chicken kebab but it would take 10 minutes. So I followed her advice and asked for it on a bed of 1/2 rice, 1/2 salad, with green pickles, turnips, and grilled onions on top. Garlic and tahini sauces as well. (You choose 3 toppings and two sauces). It was worth the wait! The chicken was so tender and the pickles and turnips so flavorful, the onions grilled perfectly, the sauces a savory delicious blend with everything. Clearly good ingredients and so delectable I ate the whole thing (for some maybe there would be leftovers haha). Highly highly recommend!! Thanks, Shakirah!

A solid place to grab some food at the Riverside Food Lab. My brother ordered and grabbed some food here while I was perusing some of the other vendors. As always, the best plan is to spread out, separate, order several different foods at the lab, reconvene and share dishes so you get a little bit of everything. He ordered the lamb chop plate which comes with 2 sides that you can choose. We got the fries and hummus for this. Both are solid choices. Lamb was moist and didn't need to be dipped in the hummus or anything else. Nice slight char at the edges. It comes on top of a bed of seasoned rice. A bit oily, on top of the meat being a bit oily too, but it's the nature of the cut of meat and the cooking style. The lamb chops weren't enough to cover the amount of sides and carbs in a portioned of proteins to carb ratio, but it's alright. Service was efficient and cordial. Vibes are lively as there's lots of people at the food lab on the weekends. Sometimes they have events going on or a game on too. Finding seating can be a tad difficult, but you just circle around until you find a spot.

Steak skewers (dry overcooked) amazing fries, and undressed salad!

We came here on valentines night, super crowded, hot and sticky inside the "Foodie Lab", but Mediterranean is what our group wanted to eat Our cashier was super friendly, and the reason why they're getting any stars. He must have been the shift manager, because he carried himself well, and had the best customer service, especially for such a crazy night. We placed our order. 1 3 item skewer plate and 1 steak skewer plate. We waited about 20 min, that wasn't too bad because our group was able to score a table right in front. The problem started when we opened up our order. They got the sides wrong for my husband. He had asked for hummus and fries, but gave him a salad. I went up and let one of the line staff know, he looked at me and just turned around. I said excuse me and told him again. This time with his plate in hand and the receipt showing the order was wrong. He grabbed a small dip container and stared scrapping the crusty sides of the hummus pan and filing the dip dish, he would not even give us one scoop from the middle fresh portion. He did add olive oil and paprika for visual appeal (thanks sir, for your generosity) I took it and went back to our table. I open up my plate and notice I have no dressing for my salad. This time my husband goes up there, same guy looks at my husband, and says "there's dressing on the salad already" husband comes back and tells me what he says, I grab my container and go back to the counter. This time ignoring that rude kid, and making eye contact with the man who took our order. He comes to the counter and ask how he can help. I show him my salad and let him know what his staff told my husband, he apologized and said the salad is usually dressed in the back, and they were so busy and probably forgot. He gave me two of their vinegarets, and I thanked him. Now we can finally start to eat our food. The rice was soft and fluffy, the fries were super crispy and seasoned well. But the steak, was so dry and overcooked. We have eaten here before and the meat has always been so tender and cooked to a med rare. But this time, just bad! Again, busiest day, super crowded, loud, hot, but your food should still be up to standard. We choose your spot, because the food has always been on point, but this time esp on a date night, disappointing! Again, stars are because of the staff manager, fries and rice!

Asked for no onion, tried to take it back they said they couldn't remake it. I'm allergic to onion, it wasn't even listed as an ingredient.

I asked for no onion, when I asked for it to be remade they said they couldn't do that. It wasn't even listed as an ingredient on the menu. I disputed the charge I hope I at least get a refund

Huge portions! This Mediterranean spot is located in a fun industrial food hall in Riverside! The servers are kind, an I ordered a salad, which came out about 15 minutes later. It's a casual place to dine with lots of seating in the area. I like the ability to walk around and see other vendors.

The food here is amazing! I was wondering through the foodlab and couldn't decide and I'm so happy I chose this place. The food was fresh and filling and full of flavor! Service was great and since it's in a food hall, the vibe was that of a nice weekday night. Full of people and just great energy. I got a chicken shawarma bowl with half rice and half lettuce. I must go back here !!!

A solid Mediterranean spot that serves big portions. They have two locations that really do well. Currently they are in Riverside food lab and Redlands Public Market. The service was very fast and efficient. My order came out within 7 min and was super excited to eat. I chose the plate where you get two sides and a protein on a bed of rice. The chicken and beef shawarma were a good combo and very flavorful. My sides were hummus and fries. It was little loud for the ambiance but it's a food hall with a bunch of people. I usually order to go then take it home to eat it.

order: beef shawarma bowl FAVV PLACE IN FOODLABS!! got the beef shawarma with green pickles, parsley, green onion along with the tahini and garlic sauce !! my bowl was so good, i rlly liked the garlic sauce, added so much flavor and made the bowl so delicious + all the greens made it taste fresh too yk. i asked for hot sauce bc i like a lil kick to my food and it enhanced the flavorsss. overall very yummy yummy rating: 8.5/10

Solid Mediterranean fare. I don't think Fufu's is doing anything particularly special that sets it apart from other similar restaurants, but the flavors are good, the spices are on point, and the pita is excellent. I like the kabobs here more than the shawarma, which is often a little too minced and a little too dry. That said, I highly recommend the baba ganoush and the batata harra. Service is quick and friendly even when the Food Lab is busy, which is a major plus. Prices are a tad inflated, but not any more than other places in the Food Lab.

The meat was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, which was the highlight of the meal. The rice had good flavor, but unfortunately it wasn't fully cooked, which took away from the experience a bit. The food also took a while to come out, so be prepared for a longer wait. One downside for me was the pita bread. It was very dry and hard, and not enjoyable at all. Another concern was the open kitchen. While the area looked clean overall, I did notice the cook using the same gloves to prepare food and then handle items that didn't appear clean, which was a little off-putting. Overall, Yafa Cuisine has good flavors and generous portions, but a few quality and cleanliness details kept it from being a higher rating.

Absolutely wonderful!…read more Our first visit (and many more will come): warm welcome, amazing service, delicious food! We tried Al Karam out as we were told that the restaurant is the best Pakistani restaurant in the Inland Empire and this is 100% true! Veggie Pakora: just the right amount of spices - deliciously crispy and tender on the inside. Lamb Karahi: tender lamb in a wonderful tomato based sauce. we were asked for spice level: asked for level 7 out of 10 (will try higher next time). Paneer Tikka Masala: Paneer texture was just right (often and easy for overcook), flavors were great! Portion is large Mango Lassi: what a great treat! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit more enjoyable. Prices are around $20 per plate, which is reasonable, especially since we ordered a few dishes and shared everything. Service-wise, the wait time was a bit longer than expected. Our food took about 30 minutes to come out, and it felt even longer considering it wasn't a busy weekend. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you're really hungry. Food was interesting in a good way. The curry dishes have a lighter color and a different flavor compared to typical Indian cuisine. You can tell it's a Pakistani style. I enjoyed trying something different, although I personally still prefer the richer, more familiar Indian flavors. The samosas were very good, and the green sauce, I believe it's called hari, was especially delicious and added a nice kick. The mango lassi drink was a surprise highlight. I'm usually not a big fan of mango lassi, but this one was super delicious. Honestly felt like a hidden gem on the menu. ***One thing to note, check your receipt before paying. They already include an 18% gratuity, and there's still a section to add an additional tip. Overall, the food was delicious, portions were satisfying, and we all left full and happy. Solid 4 stars. I'd come back again, just with a little patience for the wait.
