The only downsides were this type of burger may need a sturdier bun. The top was fine but the bottom bun was soggy. Also, the fries were a bit cold and not crispy. I also purchased a side salad and their salad is always delicious and made with a good salad mix, cheese, and crispy chips on top. I ate this the next day and it was still amazing! read more

Across from us was a table of workers just sitting and gossiping about customers. Told myself I'd never go back. However a couple of weeks ago a few coworkers wanted to try it out. Even with my hesitations, I agreed and went with them. As soon as we walked in we were met with an AWFUL stench, like sewer water, all 6 us paused and looked at each other. I also asked for extra-crispy hash browns, but they were soggy. The food did have good flavor overall, but the service really affected the visit. We've tried this place twice now and I don't think it's worth it. Both times our meal for three came out to above $75 and both times mistakes were made with our order. The food is not the greatest quality for the price especially with so many other good options in the same area. Some examples of what went wrong in our two visits: 1. Food came out at different times so we couldn't eat together (both times) 2. My order was put in incorrectly and I got a completely different meal - was then charged for the more expensive meal. 3. Tip was already included in the bill with a small party with no option to change 4. Bread pudding had whiskey that wasn't cooked off and still had a "burn" to it (pregnant wife couldn't eat her dessert because of this) 5. Chicken was overcooked and dry 6. Order was forgotten 7. If I could leave 0 stars I would most definitely would. To start off some waitress named "ofrelia" dropped the ketchup bottle on my partner. Second she took 35 mins to take our order. She never checked up on us not even to refill waters. She had the audacity to get herself an automatic gratitude off each of our checks, she most certainly did not deserve one cent of a tip, the tip I would leave her is to have a better service . After waiting for what seemed like the usual amount of time, our server came and took our order then moved on to the next table. The party of four got their food long before we got ours....this does not sit well with me. I expect this is the fault of the kitchen staff and no reflection on the servers themselves. The food itself self was nothing to really write home about. While it was edible, I would not call it great, nor would I even call it flavorful. The bacon was overdone. The eggs were flat, the French toast? Way too sweet and I didn't even put syrup on it. I got cottage cheese because I didn't want potatoes. The one good thing I can say about this place, our server was kind to us. She kept my husband's cup filled and was understanding when we asked to switch tables because my wheelchair didn't fit under the first table. I've eaten here 3-4 times and the help is always pleasant and customer oriented so you'll get no gripe from me on that either. The reason I give it three stars is that the food is very average tasting. I guess that is to be expected from a "cafe" but they could do better with some seasoning and imagination maybe. I've had breakfast (omelettes mostly), taco plates and liver so far. The Denver and Veggie omelettes are both suffering from zero taste in my view. Extremely Unprofessional Service and Dishonest Billing Practices I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment. I ordered an asada burrito and asked to add shrimp--at no point was I informed that there would be an additional $8 charge for this. When we received the receipt and noticed the charge, we questioned the waitress. Her response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Although she begrudgingly admitted it was her mistake, she told us there was nothing she could do about the charge and claimed, "even if only one piece of shrimp is added, the $8 charge still applies." To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with a manager, we were told there wasn't one available--another red flag about how the business is run. She insisted she didn't have the clearance to adjust the bill. Only after we asked to speak to another staff member did someone step in and reduce the charge from $8 to $4, which clearly contradicts the claim that the charge was unchangeable. It took 20 minutes to sort this out. Additionally, we were a party of 5, yet an 18% gratuity was automatically added, even though the menu clearly states it applies to parties of 6 or more. Between the lack of transparency, unprofessional conduct, and dishonest billing, I will absolutely not be returning. This establishment needs serious training in customer service and ethical business practices. read more

We simply asked if it was possible to make chocolate chip waffles, since they offer chocolate chip pancakes. Eva paused for a moment and then abruptly said no, adding that they could just sprinkle chocolate chips on top -- not exactly helpful or accommodating. I also ordered a cinnamon roll after seeing the large one on display when I first walked in. However, the one that was brought to the table was noticeably smaller, yet priced the same. That felt misleading and disappointing. Another couple was dining with us, and one of them ordered hash browns, which turned out to be more like mashed potatoes -- not what you'd expect or want from hash browns. The door before you even go into the bathroom smells like sewage, there is a plumbing issue that needs to be fixed asap.
