Ceiling fans I am sure keep it cooler but it also blows my hair into my mouth the entire time. Senior menu. Coffee is weak. They do have vanilla creamer if you ask. Ordered Eggs Florentine and added Canadian bacon and onions and peppers on my hash browns which was forgotten and came on a different plate after. English muffin was burnt and black and covered up with Hollandaise. There is no way the cook didn't see what he was covering. Hollandaise is strong and thick. Canadian bacon was thick. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Finally came around to getting to try it and it was fantastic. The food is delicious and the menu is rather large, so something for everyone. I wanted to try everything, I did get some pancakes which were a classic staple for dinner / brunch spots. I even got a crunchy taco which was so good and they give salsa on the side to dress the taco up. The ambience is very casual and the place is not super large but they make use of all the space pretty well. The service was great and we were seated right away. I'm only bummed they aren't open later most days. I also wasn't a big fan of the coffee, it was a little on the light side for my taste but not bad. I would come back and try something new because they have so many options, it all sounded so tasty. I would say this is a much better version of a local chain breakfast spot. For my two sides I got the cottage cheese and dollar pancakes. I enjoyed my country fried steak and they had good cottage cheese (some places don't lol). The pancakes were okay. My fiancé got the Canadian bacon & eggs. For his two sides he got hash browns and biscuits & gravy. He really loved the biscuits & gravy, he said it was so good. He enjoyed his Canadian bacon as well but said he would probably order them crispier next time. He didn't like the hash browns that much though, he said some parts tasted cooked good and some didn't. Overall though, we enjoyed our meal! It was a good first time experience. Their menu is also pretty big. I didn't see a lot of menu photos on here so I made sure to take pics of the whole thing. We were unfamiliar with it, but stopped by Amy's because it was near my daughter's house and near the freeway to head home. I'm so glad we took the chance! This is a small establishment next to a motel (wasn't too excited for that, thinking it would be crowded). The parking lot is very small with small parking spaces. The inside is homey and seemed to be filled with locals not motel guests. We were seated immediately with drink and food orders taken soon after. There were five of us but the food still came out quickly. I ordered my standard biscuit and gravy breakfast which is definitely not their specialty. Later I saw that they offered menudo but I didn't see it on the menu and I was sad because I would rather have had that. Oh well, I'll need to come back. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the food. Lunch is served all day and the Parmesan burger was really good. They have hot sauce on the table but also offer a trio of salsas for your food and they were all really good. We've been a regular to Amy's Cafe for the last couple years, usually for Sunday brunch. It's usually busy but the wait time is totally acceptable. The staff is super friendly and efficient. We never have to wait long for drinks or food. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, just what you want for a diner like this. Coffee is consistent generally. The menu is extensive and so you'll always find something you want. I always get the corn beef hash with eggs, with home fries. You can add onion and green pepper to the home fries, which is a nice addition. Our favorite though is be able to get French toast as a side for breakfast. They're fluffy and delicious, perfect addition to a breakfast plate. Don't forget to ask for salsa too! Really great flavor addition. We went on a Monday afternoon a bit before 2 and we saw they close around 3 on every day besides Tuesday so we wanted to make it a fast trip. I got the Ham, Turkey, and Bacon club with onion rings and my sister got the avocado burger with fries. Wowza. This little place packs a punch in the food department. I used yelp of course to locate it and it's a very small diner along Magnolia Boulevard in Riverside . All the reviews are amazing and mine will be the same. The portions were large. I generally get chicken fried steak when I'm out to breakfast and I know that I'm never gonna eat the whole thing and this was no exception. Over medium eggs, perfectly cooked. Chicken fried steak, a generous portion with a really tasty gravy no flour taste in it had added pepper delicious. The hash browns were in a log formation and thick - not super crispy and stringy. I also had sourdough toast and a cup of coffee, which I don't normally drink, but their coffee was really good too! From the moment I walked in the door the servers were attentive and quick and friendly, everything I look for in a server at a restaurant. Humorous and funny. The price for my meal ran around 15 bucks and the coffee was additional on top of that. Super good price for the quality of this place that seems to be a hidden gem in Riverside! Kudos Amy's!! My son had a doctor appointment at Kaiser and we were both hungry after getting out and I thought to myself, we haven't been to Amy's since he was little, why not go today? So we stopped by. I'm so glad we did because the food was delicious! I love they have breakfast, lunch, dinner all day! I decided to get a chile verde omelette with home fries (they don't come with bell peppers & onions, but can add for added charge) and you get another side item, so I went with the dollar pancakes. The omelette and home fries are huge and you get all of it for about $16. I ate half and had the leftovers the next day. My son got the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy. It was also huge and he was able to get two meals out of it. I do wish it came with some sort of veggie though. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Best skillets in the area! Always spotted this cafe growing up but finally decided to give it a few try's. It's a cute little diner located in a motel parking lot. Lots of regulars come in and the service is always great. No complaints at all. A big fan of their skillets as 2/3 times I've been here they've been huge! It's such a large selection on their menus and reasonably priced too. I love adding the French toast as a side. Their French toast is really solid and everything I expect in a French toast. Was let in and helped at 7:15. Bacon was raw on one end cooked on on the other. Eggs were done well. No seasoning. Might be no salt in the back just on the tables. $4 black coffee was a shock. What happen to a dollar black coffee. Smh country folks wasn't open yet but Amy's was not worth the sacrifice of time.
