Double bacon cheeseburger was the best burger I've had in many years. Better than In-N-Out, Five Guys, Lucky Greek, Carl's Jr, etc. New wagyu burger at BJs is almost as good. It had tomato. I hate tomato. STILL the best burger in a loooooong time. read more

I came here after dropping my husband off to get his haircut. The moment I walked in I was greeted by staff. You sit down and staff come to take your order and bring your drinks. They are constantly checking in and asking if you need refills. The atmosphere is welcoming to all and is very clean. Our server was very nice and kid friendly. Tucked away in the corner off Magnolia & Everest Ave. Ample parking lot right in front with neighboring shops but can get filled. Great customer service friendly and welcoming. Wanting some zucchini I knew they'd have some. Yup! Received my order quickly during the lunch rush. They were perfectly well done. My new fave for some zucchini sticks. Everytime I go to Nikkos I order the same thing. Club sandwich,I love it! The make your order once you place it. Its a small diner and parking is limited. I prefer to order ahead and just pick up when ready. They have ranch for your fries but you have to pay for it. I have tried the burgers but I prefer the club. Alright price if sitting down and eating. Fries made fresh for us. Burgers are cooked well done. I think if the burger patty was a little thicker (they advertise 1/4lb but patty was relatively thin like in n out) it would have hit the spot. Otherwise, it was lacking in flavor. It's better for your money than McDonalds . If you want to support local for a burger without going to a fast food chain, this would be decent. Took my daughter here because we were waiting for my wife to finish at the hospital. It was 30 minutes before closing, so the gentleman taking our order said it had to be to go, which was fine... we had to get back to the hospital anyway. My daughter doesn't eat alot, so I asked if they could prepare a smaller order of chicken strips- he said no problem! I ordered 4 carne Asada tacos- and he made sure to tell me they were full size tacos, so maybe 4 was overkill... he was right! Ordered 2 tacos which were super tasty- the onions and cilantro were fresh, and the green salsa was just right! My daughter loved her chicken strips with ranch and her horchata drink. Our food was ready in a matter of minutes, and the guy wished us well going back to the hospital... This place is awesome! Wish we lived closer because the employees here have ALWAYS been super friendly- like your family who's happy you stopped by... sometimes my wife brings our daughter here for lunch after doctors appointments- it never disappoints! I was very happy with the food here. I got a bacon cheeseburger/ sm chili cheese fries/ fried zucchini and a drink. The prices are good too. Even if they change them later, I will still come back. (Unless it's ridiculous higher lol.) I pass by the plaza often ,never really noticed that the restaurant was there. The customer service is nice. The restaurant is decent in size. I feel like I'm gonna get clobbered by other yelpers for saying this, but this place is over-rated! The burger was OK. It tastes like a DQ burger or something you'd get from TasteeFreeze. I wanted the bun to be upgraded a bit so it was more of a softer chewy texture. Thats just nagging a bit too much though. This is just a burger rating and it's a great hole-in-the-wall. The staff was excellent and service was 5-star. I will still come back for more burgers & fries, izzz just not 4.5 or 5 stars. Ambiance- I'm good with family-run businesses. I was born and raised and slaved away in my own family's business for years, but this place is dirty! even on a quiet Sunday. It could stand a good thorough cleaning in the dining and kitchen areas. And maybe a quick coat of paint. Free parking in the mini-mall and lots of opportunities for other food options and treats. First off, walking in felt like I was a kid walking in a small diner in the 90's, the local burger spot friends and family always went to. Service was great, food came out quickly. I got the double cheese burger. The patty had the perfect char, the bun was warm, soft, toasty. They didn't stuff it with a lot of lettuce to compensate for space, the cheese was perfectly melted, you know.. like melted and warm in the center but not fully melted at the edges but still warm. I'll rate each item we ordered scale 1-10 Pastrami - 8, not bad at all. It would've been a 10 if the bread was softer Zucchini - 10, enough said.
