I had the chilaquiles and machaca, and both were really good, but the chilaquiles especially stood out-they are honestly the best I've tried. The flavors were on point, the chips had the perfect texture and everything is great. The machaca was also solid and flavorful, a great hearty option. What a gem of a spot. It was a packed house when we walked in. We were greeted quickly and sat right away on the other side that I didn't see. Authentic decorations to the region of Mexico. I am still drooling from my plate. I ordered the chicken enchilada suizas and they did not disappoint the chicken was so moist and perfectly seasoned. The rice and beans were excellent I would have ordered more but I was already so stuffed from the enchiladas. Boyfriend ordered the enchilada del rancho and he also cleaned his plate. I got seated right away and I decided on the lime margarita and the green chicken enchilada and the guacamole . Overall the margarita was really good and not too sweet . The chips and guacamole were very flavorful and the chicken enchilada with green salsa was pretty flavorful . Overall the service was good and the staff were very welcoming. This was an interesting experience. First and foremost the woman working there was so sweet and very accommodating. However... the place looks run down and dirty. The food was... interesting. I ordered a two item combo with a beef tamale and cheese enchilada. I opened my container and should have closed it back up. The "red sauce" was bright red, almost pink! The beans were DARKKKK brown not typical colors for authentic Mexican food. The enchilada was a basic enchilada. The tamale was awful. The tamale literally crumbled! There was no structure to it at all! I've never had a tamale like this. The beef had good flavor but honestly I'm writing this the day after having the meal and the food came out the same way it went in. Bright pink! I will not go back and do not recommend. read more

I ordered chile verde with rice and beans it was good as well and my husband ordered red chilaquiles and he ordered them extra spicy which they made them and they were spicy and very flavorful, the service was good they were very generous and attentive. I have absolutely loved everything. I have eaten here. I'm a pescatarian so it's usually hard to find good seafood. Even the house salad and dressing are amazing. The grilled fish tacos, Chilaquiles, the grilled shrimp dish all are my favorites. It's hard to choose every time I go. My husband loves the Carne Asada every way it come. The service is great but if you go in on a weekend, be prepared to be patient they get very busy and they have a very small kitchen. If you haven't tried them it's time. read more
