Some padded chairs - some hard patio chairs. Mexican restaurant but loud country style music is playing. Hot water costs $3.95. I get it to warm up my hands - this place is cold. Vanilla creamer on the table but no jam. Lean roast beef is offered as a hot sandwich - I want the not so lean for me. They do make homemade thousand island dressing and homemade ranch dressing. I don't like the salsa that is served for the potatoes - it's the color of thousand island - it doesn't taste like much. It's cold and made the potatoes cold. Fajitas on the menu says it comes with scrambled eggs. I don't eat eggs scrambled. Why can't it be eggs how ever you want? I wonder how many fried jalapeños they throw away a day. This is mediocre food at best.

Country fried steak with gravy

Service was great. She constantly refilled our coffees and checked in the with us. Favorite breakfast spot hands down. Everything was delicious!

My wife and I stopped in today and I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs--my go-to breakfast wherever I go. This was one of the best versions I've had. The steak was cooked perfectly, the gravy was flavorful, and the biscuits and gravy were outstanding. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated my grandma's birthday at El Torito and it was such a wonderful experience! The…read moreservice and food were both amazing. Our party kept growing throughout the meal as more family members joined, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind about adjusting our table each time. The brunch options were fantastic with both sweet and savory choices. My personal favorite was the omelet bar it was fresh, delicious, and made exactly how I wanted it. They also had great kid-friendly options like fries and mac and cheese, which made the little ones very happy. The service really stood out. The staff kept our champagne glasses filled and were attentive without being intrusive. I also loved that they had aguas frescas available for guests to serve themselves, which meant no waiting around for refills. And the sweet bread selection was a perfect touch to round out the meal along with their chocolate strawberry fountain and ice cream. Overall, it was a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance of mariachi singing and dancing in the back also added special element. Excellent food, wonderful service, and a very accommodating team. We'll definitely be back!

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at El Torito on 7/1. The service was some of the…read moreworst we've ever had. Our food arrived cold, and my tortillas never came with my meal despite asking for them. What made the experience even more disappointing was that we were celebrating my dad's birthday. I informed the host when we arrived and was told to remind our server. Unfortunately, our server was nearly impossible to find, and when I finally let her know, nothing was ever done. No birthday dessert, no acknowledgment--nothing. Throughout the meal, the server had a poor attitude and seemed uninterested in helping us. At the end, she simply dropped off the bill without even saying "thank you" or checking on us. It made us feel like our business didn't matter. We left very disappointed. Honestly, the service did not deserve a tip, but we left one anyway. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.

From the moment we walked in, Victor greeted us and also ended up being our server. He was attentive, friendly, and gave us great recommendations throughout the meal. Truly excellent service from start to finish definitely ask for Victor if you go. We ordered the enmoladas, fajitas, churros, flan, and aguas frescas (Jamaica and sandía), and everything was spot on. Muy bueno todo. The ambiance great vibe overall. This was such a great unexpected find and we'll definitely be back next time we're passing through. Highly recommend!

This was a cool place to try out. Our server Jose was very attentive and friendly!…read more Food presentation was beautiful and flavorful. Atmosphere was very modern and upbeat decor. Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.
