First time here. They offer inside and outside dinning. I ended up taking my server Amanda's advise and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich and soup combo. It was very tasteful and it wad my first time having Chicken Fried Steak as a sandwich. I have to admit it was delicious. I'll have to come back and try something else from the menu. I would definitely stop by here when I'm in the area again.
So good! I arrived to town for vacation and the first thing I did was to go to the cafe. I had the Mile High entree with chorizo added, OMG so good.
Came here to check out the vibe of the place since we've heard about it and wanted to see what it was all about. Airplanes & breakfast, why not?! The kids definitely loved it. We came around 11am on Saturday & wait was quick. They told us 15 mins but we definitely were seated 5 mins after. We requested to sit outside on the patio so they can see the airplanes while we eat. Plenty of space between each tables and view of the runway was clear and visible from all spaces/area on the patio. There's also inside seating too but with kids, being outside is definitely a must. There's space heaters as well so that was nice. There's a giant connect 4 and corn holes for the kids to play with if available and not occupied by other families. They also have a DJ in the patio area during breakfast. Definitely a good vibe and weather was nice during the time we went too! The service is decent & server was nice. Ordering was easy and menu was straight forward. They also had a kids menu & pricing is definitely reasonable for a family of 4. A lot of options for everyone and they even have a lunch menu as well (something we definitely will try next time). My daughter got the kids pancake meal, which came with 3 silver dollar pancakes, 1 egg and 1 bacon. Pancakes were fluffy & tasty and the bacon were crispy and just how she liked them. My son got the kids Early Bird meal, which came with 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1 toast and hash browns. My husband got the Go Around. That comes with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage & hash brown. I got the Riverside Bell, which has 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, hash brown, and toast. All meals were tasty and hit the spot for us and we were all full by the time we left. We're definitely coming back with friends. Super family friendly.
Our group of 20 women came in for a Christmas breakfast, and the café was able to accommodate us with reservations, which we appreciated. We sat outside where they had heaters set up, and the atmosphere was festive with a DJ playing. Some groups were even dancing, which added to the holiday vibe, though it was still a bit loud even from a distance. The food was okay, nothing particularly standout. I ordered the Bonjour Breakfast for $16 and a Diet Coke for $4. Unfortunately, I ended up being the last one served, and I never received utensils because the servers didn't come around, so I had to use another guest's unused spoon to eat. It was also hard to get refills, and for a group of 20, I expected the waitstaff to check in a bit more often. Overall, it was still a nice outing with good company, and the café offered a lively environment. With a few improvements in attentiveness, it could easily be a great experience.
I haven't been here in years. I used to come here often to get a tuna melt. That's what I was here today for. No matter where I go I always order the tuna melt the same. On Rye french fries crisp. And that is how I ordered it today. To start off walking in they now have people that meet you as soon as you walk in the door with a smile. They were very friendly and welcoming. After sitting down and looking at the menu I ordered the same thing I have always ordered from here. Tuna melt on Rye with french fries crispy and an iced tea. The food came out quickly and looked really good. It looked better than it tasted. The tuna had no flavor, the crunchy toasted rye bread was the best part of it. The french fries were not crisp and had the flag someone down to get crisp french fries. After I was done eating my tuna they brought me a fresh order of french fries that were crisp. I also had the flag a server down to get a refill on the ice tea. I didn't see my server until after I paid the check as I had to go up to the counter to ask for my check. I work close by and thought that this would be a good place to maybe start going to again. As I've seen videos on social media. I really don't like leaving a review like this. Hopefully this review will improve how they operate.
Such a great spot to grab great food for breakfast and lunch!! Coffee is always constantly being brewed fresh, the service is always attentive and they are great with communication. The view is great right on the airport runway. Quality of the proteins are always great bacon and sausage are always cooked perfectly and all sides give great compliments to on another the owner Leimamo is always attentive and making sure her guest get the best service! She jumps in to get things moving and helps her staff with whatever they need. Our server Rosa is always super sweet and attentive as well. It's shows when a business is operated by people that love to work there. Back to the food the croissants are always fresh tasting and seeing the food other guests get, I can't wait to try everything on the menu! Shout out to Leimamo again for the great restaurant and experience!
Today I visited this awesome café and had the asada breakfast burrito... it was cooked perfectly. The ingredients were well-balanced, with nothing overpowering anything else. Everything came together as the perfect blend of flavors and textures. The salsa on the side paired really well with the burrito and elevated it even more. I also tried the iced coffee, which was a very good beverage refreshing and flavorful. The café itself is nicely decorated, very clean, and offers plenty of seating. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back. Big shoutout to the staff as well--they were extremely polite and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit.

While waiting for my car, I discovered this hidden spot. I have been to Riverside quite a few times and have never seen it. I didn't even know they had an airport. Anyway a friend and I went there for breakfast and were pleasantly shocked when we went inside. This is a really nice breakfast/ lunch place with reasonable prices and diverse cuisine selection. The waitstaff were very friendly and a nice combo of young and older servers. You can choose to dine inside or out on the patio. We chose inside, where it was cooler, but went outside to look around. It was crowded with guests and kids playing horseshoes and the large sized Connect Four. You are also right next to the airport so you could see the small planes come in and out. Food was delicious

Looks like there is a DJ on the weekend on the patio. Also had corn hole and connect four. Came on a Sunday around 11:15AM, was told to expect a 30 minute wait, but was seated in 15 minutes!

Waitress was very knowledgeable and she checked on us the proper amount. We split French dip with tater tots and Buffalo cauliflower. Both very good. Roast beef tender,, cut like butter:) Buffalo cauliflower a tad under done batter inside but it was quite good. We asked for easy sauce to not be so soggy. Ranch made in house not from a bottle. August broth warm and flavorful...not just beef bullion over-salty flavored broth. Out of Budweiser (boo) and Mango Cart is not from a bottle, it is from a can for $8.50 so that seemed too high a price. It was nice it was served in a cold glass though. We will be back for sure. Bingo on 1st and 3rd Tuesday 10am-Noon. I want to come try that out next month. I recommend this cute cafe.

This is the 2nd time I've been to this place and it did not disappoint. The vibe is always full of energy. DJ was spinning the cuts and the staff in their Christmas pajamas. All in the fun and spirit of the holidays. My chorizo omelet was savory and delicious with a side of beans! Definitely a place to come for good times and also can accommodate big parties. Only thing is no hard liquor only beer, selzers and wine. read more
So glad to have found such a fun and and cool place! Not sure if it was only because of Memorial Day weekend, but it was lively with a dj, face paints, balloon artists, and yard games. They also have a small bar cart to order some beer and micheladas while we wait to get seated. Plenty of parking, though we had a short wait to have our names on the wait list. I could easily check our spot in line and they'll text me when the table was ready. We asked to sit outside at the side bar tables to enjoy the sun, and the host mentioned that next time we can go straight there without waiting as those are first come first serve. I didn't mind the unnecessary wait for the table, since I was able to explore the airport building and check the upstairs deck. Micheladas were huge in mason jars, and I was was able to choose Mango Cart to go with it. I ordered a burger which was juicy and flavorful, that came with a choice of side, which i chose the tater tots- so good and crispy! I was there for the first time on Monday to celebrate my sister in laws bday. It was a bit chilly so I asked to sit inside. I ordered a michelada and when they brought it to the table I was surprised on how big it was. I ended up ordering the chicken melt sandwich which had good flavor but it's pretty plain with just the chicken, cheese onions and tomato. My sister in law ordered the chilaquiles and they were alright. read more

I will start with what I order for those that don't want to read my whole review. I ordered the Councilmans and a side salad and the amazing Mimosas!!! Omg, just been lucky with the recent of my restaurant selection. This is another gem and to top it off in one of my best sceneries an Airport so the ambiance was top!! Let me start with the customer service with them youngsters doing an amazing job. Then the food was delicious it look amazing and was tasty. And now to top it off one of the best waitresses I have met AMANDA she was amazing she did everything just perfect Management you have a great team. read more

Stopped by to try their breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Carlos Omelette -- packed with country fried steak and cheese, then topped with country gravy -- and it was absolutely delicious. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, the fruit was fresh, and the whole plate was incredibly satisfying. The ambience was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and polite. On top of that, the café has a nice view of the runway and airplanes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I've been recommended this spot a dozen times and it's worth the hype! Really fun ambiance, kid friendly! On the weekend they had a clown doing face paints, a dj and a balloon artist. I can't wait to come back and sit on the patio when the weather is nice. Our server McKinley was the best! She was so sweet, made great recommendations and was very attentive. The food was fantastic! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. When the kids eat quietly you know it's a win! My chorizo omelette was delicious. My husband's carne asada omelette was delicious and funny enough the side of fresh fruit was not what you'd typically get. It was genuinely delicious fresh fruit! We've been coming here for years and it's always been one of our go-to spots, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to have gone downhill. We ordered the chilaquiles and they were a letdown. The chips were so stale they never softened, and there were only a few tiny pieces of pork (maybe four, and very small). The refried beans had an off, almost chemical-like aftertaste, which was really concerning. Even the home fried potatoes were overcooked and tasted stale. It's frustrating to see such a noticeable decline from what this place used to be. We've always enjoyed coming here, but based on this experience, the quality just isn't what it once was. read more

This is such a cute cafe! It's clean and very spacious. Customer service was nice but not very attentive. There's also an outside patio where you can see airplane landings and take offs. The food was homey and very diner like. Had a great experience coming here! read more

We love to go here for brunch and it never disappoints! They have a ton of food options and everything has been delicious and consistent in all of the years we've been going to the RAC. Now let me tell you, this spot gets busy! Expect a bit of a wait, especially if you want to sit outside. Brunch always has a DJ on the patio so if you're not into the loud music, you can eat inside too. But if you wanna get down to some old school jams, hit the dance floor in front if the DJ booth! The lobby has a small bar to grab a drink or a snack while you wait. They have options for the lil ones at the lobby bar as well, and there's usually a friendly clown lady doing face paintings and ballons. The service has always been great and everyone is really friendly. If you've never been there, it's an actual airport so you get to see the planes on the tarmac right outside of the patio seating! Grab a nice, big michelada or a bottomless mimosa and enjoy the vibe. There's cornhole and giant Connect 4 on the patio too. You really can't go wrong with any of the food options, either, so don't be afraid to try something different! read more

It was our first time visiting after wanting to come for a while, and we finally made it in with my spouse. We had a great experience and genuinely enjoyed it. The chilaquiles were delicious, and now we're both looking forward to coming back to try the lunch menu. Service was quick, we were seated right away, and the outdoor seating is definitely worth it. We'll be back soon with our kids. read more

Probably a dumb question but do you actually get to see airplanes fly?
Yup. All the time.
Is it too loud here because of the planes to bring my toddler (14 month old)?
We started bringing my son and daughter when they were just a few months old and they never had any issues with the planes being too loud! It's a fun atmosphere for the kids.
Pup friendly on the patio?
Yes it is! They even have water bowls and treats for our furry friends.
