Cute artsy-fartsy instagramable vibe. Radio is playing pop music. Hard metal chairs. Fake plastic plants on each table. You order and tip at the counter - they have no table service at all. When your drink and then food is ready they call you to come pick it up. I ordered the El Chino to drink. It is advertised as Vietnamese coffee I wish they had the shaved ice that usually goes in Vietnamese coffee. Water is available in a big crock that anyone can help themselves. Bendy straws. Paper towels as napkins. I also got green chilaquiles. It comes with lots of cheese and a little onion and 2 eggs. Chips are very toasty. Nothing is great that I tried. It's ok food in uncomfortable chairs.

The service was okay, and so was the atmosphere and the food. The only thing that really stood out to me was the coffee I ordered because honestly, I was a little disappointed. Nothing against the place at all, but... I honestly didn't enjoy the Spanish latte. It was very strong and watery, and the cinnamon flavor was way too overpowering. I've had Spanish lattes at other places, so I was expecting something creamier, sweeter, and more balanced. This one tasted more like a cinnamon shaken espresso than a Spanish latte. I think it might be worth reconsidering the base of the drink and what a Spanish latte is meant to taste like. Unfortunately, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

My granddaughters surprised me with a trip to Buenos Dias for coffee. I had my usual, cafe de olla but this time in Mexican pottery. My girls had their iced creamy sweetness ( can't remember the names on the counter) and a bagel and bacon breakfast burrito. Service continues to be stellar and I love the new umbrellas! I love sitting outside. See you soon!

I'm glad I found Buenos Dias cafe. I always get their loaded burrito with ham & chorizo. They have plenty of options for proteins (ham, bacon, sausage, turkey, weenies) They have some seasonal drinks that rotate - I've really enjoyed the blueberry matcha latte (not a seasonal drink, they have it all the time) Sometimes they do a military discount when I'm in uniform & that's really great, I truly appreciate it!!!

I came here on a Monday morning to get me a coffee and some breakfast. I ordered the "La Rubia y La Morena drink which I personally really enjoyed! I also purchased their loaded burrito w/ chorizo and I also really enjoyed it! I definitely do recommend this place if you're wanting to try a new coffee shop on the area. They also had pan Dulce on display along with other pastries! If you're one to be in a rush in the mornings I wouldn't recommend this place as I did have to wait about 15 minutes for my coffee and then I was also mistakenly given someone else's burrito at first. The ambiance of this coffee shop Is definitely an eye catcher as it is very "trendy" and worth visiting for those cute IG photos.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Riverside is Buenos Dias Cafe. Established in 2024 and owned by Mexican Latinas, this place brings a great Mexican twist to coffee. They offer drinks like horchata latte, dulce de leche latte, churro latte, and other unique flavors that you don't usually see at typical coffee shops. Their food is just as good too. I ordered the chilaquiles along with a churro latte and both were excellent. A fun surprise today was that the barista happened to be the sister of one of my basketball players, and she signed fluently to take my order, which was a great bonus for me. The shop might be located in a slightly unexpected area, but it's absolutely worth the visit if you're anywhere near downtown Riverside or just in the city in general. Great drinks, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I've also heard they have another location in Colton too.

the first time I order the chilaquiles verdes was like the scene in ratatouille where the reviewer is brought back to childhood with his favorite dish. This is the first time I had chilaquiles that strongly resembled my father's, the green sauce has a strong taste of tomatillos. The tortillas are perfectly crispy. And the queso is perfect every time. Ever since I've came here my partner and I alter between the chilaquiles and the burrito. The burrito is a perfect size, the potatoes always perfectly toasted, soft, and evenly diced. The staff has always been more than exceptional, and friendly enough to remember my name! It's always fresh inside, the music is always good. I've heard them play from los caifanes to the cure. Whoever is on aux knows what's up. Overall go here if you're genuinely drawn to it!

Cozy neighborhood cafe thats brightly decorated with traditional and contemporary Mexican art. The menu has a nice variety of Mexican favorite tortas, burritos and chilaquiles with your choice of proteins including weenies! Also a nice selection of poncho options like bagels or avocado toasts! Very witty and clever. Loved the horchata latte as well as a great selection of teas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would give them 5 stars except items were missing from our order. They were nice enough to fix the problem without question when I asked for the missing items.

new obsession! I've always passed by this area but never actually stopped to check out what it was. Who knew we had this little hidden gem all along. First off, my favorite thing here is definitely the food. It's not often you see a place offer weenies as a protein for a burrito. It's simple yet so good and reminds me of being a child eating weenies and eggs. Their burritos are also pretty big so it's definitely worth it. I tried their chicken tamale as well and loved it. For my drink I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and vanilla. I do tend to like my matcha pretty sweet and it wasn't really doing it for me upon first sip. I did ask for more vanilla syrup and then it tasted fine. I like that they also offer agua frescas. Last time I came I got my mom horchata and it tasted really good. It's just a nice little spot to hangout and get some brunch. :)

I came here to try their breakfast burritos and wow were they delicious!! I decided to get a strawberry matcha and that was so good! The employee recommended it and she did a great job! She was kind and helpful! The protein I chose for my breakfast burrito was turkey and that was yummy! It also had breakfast potatoes and egg inside! It is small inside but they have tables inside and outside! They also have a parking lot! I can't wait to come back!

Food was good! My husband loved the burrito. Cute inside. The fresh horchata, cafe de olla and conchas were so so good! No tamales today but when we're back in town we'll go again for sure.

This lil' Latin Café is located on the corner of 14th St. & Grove Ave. across the street from Abraham Lincoln High School with plenty of parking on both sides of the building. No drive-thru. The Café is on the smaller side yet enough tables to enjoy your meal, as well as outdoor seating. Clean and organized. All drinks are 16 oz, served hot or iced. My sister brought me here for coffee this morning. I tried their 'Breakfast Burrito with Bacon', an iced 'La Rubia y La Morena' drink (which is a Caramel Macchiato), and a 'Cinnamon Muffin' for the road. The burrito was incredibly delicious, simply satisfying. The Macchiato was one of the best I've had. Prices are reasonable. The service was great. Shout out to 'Araceli', who was very welcoming and friendly. Overall, we had a good breakfast experience here and will definitely return to try other menu items.

Went here because it was near my school and wanted a quick coffee. The ambiance was super cute and they were decorating for Christmas. It seemed busy for a Monday morning and there was a lot of people so I was scared of it not being fast as I was in a hurry. I got the La Güerita latte (vanilla bean latte) and a pumpkin empanada. The latte was overly too sweet for my liking and you could not taste the coffee. It came with cold foam which was my fault I didnt know it did. The empanada was good. I feel like my rating is only based on their coffee and their food may be way better but from a coffee standpoint, not the best and not my favorite.

I saw they have a pastry shelf of muffins. I ordered the 12oz iced horchata latte. They have multiple sizes. Once I received it, I did taste some horchata, not much. It was still good though. The coffee shop itself is perfect for downtown Riverside--very fitting with the vibe and style. The lady working was very friendly. However, the menu is extremely busy, and you practically need a key to understand what's what or even how to order. Once we ordered, I noticed the ceremonial matcha is made with a handheld electric frother, and the cold foams are premade in jars and simply added on top (not made fresh). When we received our matchas, let's just say it tasted exactly like it looked: mostly milk with very little matcha flavor, topped with subpar cold foam. This is by far the most expensive, worst-tasting matcha I've ever had. I can usually find a way to justify things or give a place some grace, but this was beyond help.

I didn't want to enter any cafe very small/ with petite tables or judgement if I sat down for 1.5 hr to work on my computer. I bought a sausage croissant which was just ok, but still a nice quick breakfast item. I was able to sit in a comfy chair with an outlet source & table to conference in my meeting. I was left unbothered & comfortable the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. There are several lounge chairs, tables & areas to space out to work, read, lounge, etc! I would certainly return another day to try out their coffee menu and those earl grey lavender scones (wish I saw those first!!) The barista was kind & the atmosphere very pleasant!

SERVICE here is VERY BAD!…read more The service at Back to the Grind was genuinely one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had. While I was in the middle of placing my order, an older gentleman wearing glasses abruptly walked away from me mid-conversation to speak with someone he knew. No acknowledgment, no "I'll be right back," nothing. I was left standing there confused and waiting while they casually chatted amongst themselves. At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.
