What I had loved the most about Mundial was their matcha! It's so hard to come by good matcha in the IE, so I was happy when I found a local cafe that did it right in flavor and color. Now, the few times I've gone this year have been a hit or miss. Most of the time, I'm left disappointed. It seems that the quality has gone down - it doesn't have the same deep green color or rich flavor anymore. I do like Mundial, but I'm not sure if I'd like to come again and take a chance on how my matcha latte will come out that day. This is one of my favorite coffee shops! I just tried their dirty horchata with oat milk and it was so good. It had cinnamon powder on top which added to the flavor. I also tried their banana loaf and it tasted really good. It has to be one of my favorite banana breads I've had. I highly recommend this place! As soon as I walked in, I loved the earthy, green vibe l there are so many plants all around the shop. I was looking for something like a caramel macchiato, and the person at the counter recommended an iced latte. She even suggested adding banana cold foam for an extra $1.50, which I did and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I did end up paying about $10 for the drink which I think was a bit pricy. I had first gone to Mundial a couple months ago during fall season and i did not have the best drink experience. Because of that i was hesitant to return but after going back twice i can safely say Mundial has redeemed itself. This particular time i ordered the horchata matcha which was way better than expected. I don't think it tasted much like horchata but does taste more cinnamony. Overall the matcha was good quality and refreshing which i enjoyed. The service has also been great each time I've gone. Inside is very cute and is decorated with various plants and feels very cozy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. My only con is that i wish they were open later as it's a bit of drive for me and usually i can't make it due to my work schedule. I will say their fall drink was not the best but their all year menu is offering some great unique flavors and i do recommend giving them a try. read more

First timer ordering on DD. We ordered: Briar Rose Latte, Cafe Mocha, Horchata cold brew, and House cold brew. Paid over $45 for these 4 drinks. Online they sounded and looked very unique. The Briar Rose Latte tasted the best out of the 4 of them. However, there was no garnish, on this coffee, even though that was requested. My guests said their coffees were, "okay." The Horchata taste didn't really come through on the cold brew, and tasted like a regular cold brew. We didn't receive any straws and the lids were ill-fitting, causing spillage when taking drinks. I had wanted to try this place out for a while, and wanted to treat my guests, but these are way too overpriced for the taste and mess when drinking. read more

Mundial Coffee is a solid local coffee spot in Riverside. It's a cute small business with a nice, cozy ambience, but seating is pretty limited. There isn't much room to sit inside, and while there are a few tables outside, they aren't shaded, which can be rough on warmer days. There are also a lot of college students from the nearby university, so it can get busy. I ordered the jalapeño avocado toast and an Earl Grey latte, and both were pretty decent. I definitely enjoyed the food and drinks. No complaints there. The biggest downside was the price. Two jalapeño avocado toasts and two drinks came out to around $50, which feels pretty high for a brunch-style menu. Quality was good, but the pricing is definitely on the higher end. Overall, a nice spot to try if you're in the area, just be prepared for limited seating and higher prices. read more

The atmosphere is distinctly earthy, with beautiful live plants and various items like mugs for sale.  I came here specifically to try their 'Turkish Coffee'. It's about a 10-minute wait as it's prepared fresh in a traditional cezve. The 4oz serving is served in a regular paper cup and had a great taste. Because the coffee is finely ground and typically served without straining, the sediment at the bottom can be quite overwhelming for some. Besides specialty coffee and tea, they serve items like avocado toast, wraps, and pastries.  The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll be back to explore more of their coffee house specials. read more

Came here for a meetup and tried the rose beet latte. Wow! I was intimidated by the idea of a beet drink at first since I don't generally have a preference for eating beets, but that drink is amazing! The rose and beet flavors mesh together very well. The staff was also very considerate when I expressed my hesitation and curiosity about the drink -- they patiently described it, gave their personal opinion and compared it to other common drinks, and said if I didn't like it they could make me a different drink. I stayed for a while working off of my laptop and it's also a 5/5 place to work. Cute decor, plants galore, great music taste (at a not overwhelming volume), perfect temperature, outlets and steady tables -- it's the dream remote work environment! It was my first time trying Mundial and my first impression couldn't have been better. The Dirty Horchata has ruined lattes for me, I daydream about it as I drink my morning Nespresso. For food, I ordered the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich with sausage and on a croissant. Dare I say it's the best croissant breakfast sandwich I've had! The addition of tomato and greens was perfect at balancing out the heavier ingredients. The space itself is small but very inviting with plants throughout and even available for purchase along with other items. There is also plenty of parking which is a huge plus. Came on a Friday afternoon where the inside wasn't too crowded and was able to order quickly! I ordered the iced dirty horchata and it was super yummy. I like that this has a traditional small business coffee shop feel, there's a poster board with local events and they sell various coffee-related trinkets and ceramics. Really aesthetically pleasing and they do latte art for hot drinks as well! I basically downed my entire drink in one go because it was so yummy. I was obsessed! There is also a small mailbox that says "little free library" where you can donate books and take some as well. Inside there is some seating although it is limited. They'd have 5 small tables with 2 seats each and two bigger tables for 4 people each. They also have a restroom for customers. For my order I got the Lavender Oar Latte. It was pretty good although I did get an extra pump of vanilla syrup since I like my coffee a bit sweeter. My friend got a Dirty Horchata and it was really good and sweet, they mentioned that was Theron sweetest drink. To eat I got a loaded breakfast sandwich. Mundial Coffee is a cafe in Riverside with unique Spanish drinks and great ambiance. There's plenty of free parking in the lot in front of the complex. The service was quick, but we did stand in line for a bit which worked out since we were waiting for a table. I went during the week to get some work done, and this cafe was the perfect place for that. The lighting is a little bit darker, there's plants around (creating a calming energy), and it wasn't too loud. Also, the dirty horchata was delicious. It was a great blend of coffee mixed with the perfect amount of cinnamon. It paired well with the blueberry loaf. I'd definitely come here at least once when in Riverside. I've been coming to this coffee shop for nearly 4 years now (they're just that good) & all I can say is they just get better and better with time. The ambiance is always very warm & inviting & very diverse which I love. Everyone is always kind and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. It's always very clean & they have fun community events often. Their drinks are also good every time & recently I've noticed they've been offering more variety which is a huge plus. Why would you sell a matcha that's not good enough for your own business to make and sell to your customers??? Super confusing I've never seen a business cafe/coffee shop do that before. I wanted what I tasted not some random matcha I would have to take a gamble on the flavor and quality. What actually made me upset and what I do regret purchasing is the bootleg Jalepeno avacodo toast. First I feel bamboozled because the one I received looked nothing like the once I seen in the reviews (I added it so yall can see the difference). The one in the reviews look worth the price I paid NOT the one i actually got. My bread was hardly toasted, still super soft. The avocado spread tasted pre packed store bought spread not fresh avocado. They didn't even use nice heirloom tomatoes, no sprouts nothing super plain and basic and definitely not worth the $13 I paid for it. We ordered the Brown Sugar oat latte! The quality of the coffee was delicious, the beans were perfectly roasted and did not taste burnt. The acidic texture was not overbearing as the bitter coffee flavor. It all blends so well with the brown sugar sweetness, which is not overpowering. This drink is a pleasant and comforting--and save choice of coffee for those wanting to try out lattes! We also ordered their iced Lavender Latte to compliment the warm day! The coffee has a delicious strong flavor, reminding you of the type of drink you ordered. Mixed with the delicious caffeine is the floral flavors blended with the silky and milky textures of the oat milk. This drink is totally a must! On their menu, they have drinks and a breakfast/lunch menu with sandwiches and pastries. The drinks menu is unique, like the mud water and the mocha Mexicano. I usually get the matcha, which is very well made. On this day, I got the earl grey matcha. This was part of their fall menu. The cafe is usually always has a lot of people and it was busy. Seating inside can be limited, but it is a good size decent area. They have a few tables inside and outdoor seating. Usually when I come, most of the tables inside are occupied. I didn't have too long, despite this. Probably only 5 minutes. The baristas are friendly and care about the customers.
