This was my first time here, and the place made a good first impression. The inside was clean and there were plenty of seating options. The lady up front was really nice and seemed knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easier, especially for a first visit. I ordered the shrimp burrito, and while it wasn't bad, it was a bit underwhelming for me. For about $18 with tax, I think I was expecting something closer to a surf-and-turf style burrito or at least something that felt a little more loaded. The tortilla was soft and thin, which I appreciated. Lengua was delicate yet underseasoned, almost to the point of getting lost in each bite amongst the rice, beans, and cheese. The optional green and red salsas saved this bland burrito, so I recommend getting both salsas with whatever you get just in case. Service: 5/5. Knowledgeable staff. The girl who helped us at the register was friendly and down-to-earth. Food didn't take too long to come out, but it wasn't suspiciously fast, either. Stopped by Green Taco and tried a few things, the Breakfast Burrito with asada, a regular Asada burrito, and the Shrimp Nachos. The food was actually really good. The asada had great flavor, the breakfast burrito was super satisfying, and the shrimp nachos were loaded and definitely worth ordering again. Service was friendly and quick. Everyone behind the counter was welcoming and the food came out fresh. The only downside is the location. It's a little sketchy outside, and I found myself keeping an eye on my car because of a couple of tweakers hanging around. Nothing happened, but it definitely made me more aware of my surroundings. Steak feels like a good baseline on how to judge a Mexican restaurant. I don't think I will be back. Friendly staff and my food came out quick. The steak needed seasoning and it and dry. It was decent when you put the entire plate into a tortilla, but the steak on its own needs help. Pretty good horchata. Go and add a splash of French vanilla creamer. The sides of rice and beans are okay. Nothing to write about. Guacamole and pico are good enough where they add a bit of freshness; this also includes the lettuce. I was craving a breakfast burrito, rare, but when I do, it has to be good. And this place did not disappoint! Three meats... Eggs... Potato... Cheese... And all evenly distributed throughout the burrito - not half potato and weak on the meat. The Green Taco came through! Perfectly balanced burrito, and big time! Every bite had a little bit of meat little egg potato and cheese. Excellent flavor. OK, OK, you might say it's just a breakfast burrito. But this was delicious. We chose two different salsa, one green one red and I'm all for alternating between the red and the green between bites,. Give it a try and let me know which one you like better! You have to get the breakfast burritos! So far none of them have been bad or needed improvement. I've gotten the machaca and egg burrito and I added beans and oh man it's soo good! You have to try it! We also got just an egg and beans and potato one and it's soo good. We love their burritos! Definitely coming back! And pricing is affordable! I went here because they say it was a hidden gem on TikTok said they had giant burritos and this place was really good. Unfortunately, the burritos were average size. Maybe even on the smaller side. Paid $31 for one burrito and a couple of street tacos. Definitely not worth it. Disappointed, the taste was really good but for the price and the portion size could've got a much bigger burrito from chipotle or something, and probably save money. Been going here for years. Clean, yummy mexican food, that is not too greasy. You get a good home cooked meal with what seems to be abuelitas recipes. It's a family run business. I find the family super humble, diligent and kind. Their food is reliably tastey and filling. My kids are picky eaters, but all 3 love the food here, especially the beans, chilaquiles and pozole! Another spot that pays for social media hype. The food is mid at best. Got a few things to try. Birria en caldo had like 3 pieces of beef in it, rest was all broth, no real flavor. Tortillas that came with it are Guerrero ones, at that price point other spots are giving hand made or at least not corporate produced ones. Quasabiria taco was ok, but no crunch to it. Green Taco always satisfies with their Mexican food. Love that they make handmade tortillas. I decided to try their quesabirria tacos and what a difference a handmade tortilla makes in a taco. It was very flavorful with the consome. It doesn't come with it, so had to purchase a side order of it. My daughter also got them and loved them. My husband had the two taco plate with rice and beans and ate everything up. He also enjoyed that they use handmade tortillas. My son had an al pastor burrito and said it was good. Not worth the money. Ordered multiple items. The chicken enchilada meal with rice and beans were bland and had zero seasoning. Beans were incredibly watery and inedible. Chicken enchiladas were edible but not very appetizing with no seasoning. The carne asada nachos had the same beans on them and it completely saturated the tortilla chips making the dish inedible. The asada was okay tasting but again there was no seasoning. My son got breakfast burrito that was okay but had zero taste. On the upside, the young lady behind the counter was nice. The burrito was medium sized but it had more rice and beans than meat. It was expensive for it to not have good amount of meat. The chilaquiles were ok and the red is spicy compared to others. But again, it was super expensive just for basic chilaquiles and if you wanted to add egg and/or meat it would more double extra for each. The salsas didn't seem fresh and weren't good.
