Second visit and it's still bussin a solid 5 . Walked in on a Thursday around 5:40 ish, it was pretty busy, not too bad but after sitting for a few minutes it kept getting busier. So remember this when going as they shut down at 9pm. I felt super bad for the young lady rockin the hostess, waitress and server all in one job. I'm so sorry I wish I got your name. Michael also was awesome with service. I enjoyed a glass of Banshee Cabernet and my husband had Pizza Port Chronic Ale. Visit was Saturday 05/09/26, about 2pm. 5 stars for the poor girl running the entire joint, 4 stars for the food we COULD have, and 2 stars for the business plan. The good. Place has a chill vibe. The food we ordered was pretty good. Fried olives - 4/5, Burrata plate 5/5, Caesar salad - 4/5, Pizza - 3.5/5 (great crust, just too salty). Everything seemed super fresh tho! The not so good. No reason for one person to host, wait, clean, run food, bus and set tables, check on guests and answer the phone. Wait times were silly for a 1/2 empty restaurant. Again, NOT the employee's fault, she did amazing. Also, we went there specifically for the charcuterie board and they were out of it. There's legit only like 7 things on the menu, shouldn't be out of what looked like the best thing to order. Might give it another shot at 5 stars if we're in the area, but won't be making a special trip. read more

We lived down the street and didn't even know about this till recently husband I wanted something different and we really enjoyed it each order a glass of wine. They do offer a $15 corkage charge. If you want to bring your own bottle. We split a salad and split a pizza both were delicious. I can't rave, enough about the fried olives something different I've never had before. I would come again. My only complaint is they don't take cash (my reason for the four star) and usually I only pay with cash to support small businesses. I thought that this might be one of my top fav restaurants here in Riverside....but upon going my 2nd time, I thought it was just ok. I'll still round this up to 4 stars since I want to give this another try, perhaps for lunch to try their other specials. First time I went, the truffle pizza and fried olives + almonds were amazing & addictive. Lavender lemonade was refreshing and perfect. Service was top notch, not overbearing or lacking. We regretted not ordering more in fact. Fast forward to more recently, food was okay this time. Service was a bit much....checked on us a lot. Ordered the outpost caesar salad, strawberry shortcake and diavola forte pizza (spicy sausage wasn't very spicy which I liked). Added the crispy chicken to the salad which was extra. It all tasted ok, but not amazing like our last experience. The chicken was sadly dry, not so crispy & on the saltier side. The standout for the salad was the avocado, which broke the monotony of the salad. Got the pepperoni calabrese to go. Pizza was really salty, not great. Could be better....I do like their crusts though. Wish they had pasta too, but focusing on the salads and pizza do make them better than other spots that rather do too much food options. Quite pricey also. I had to be careful with my nut allergies here, but I haven't had any issues so far with letting them know. Wow, what a hidden gem! We had the sweetest server, Isabel, and a most yummy sausage and peppers pizza! Highly recommend giving it a try!!

I've never been here and it took me a moment to find the place. Walked in and was seated at the table for two. Please consider adding hooks for purses. The table was so small and there was no way to hang out bags off the chairs. And maybe some bigger glasses for water. The food itself is delicious. We had the fried olives (which is really why I wanted to come here lol) and the sausages and pepper pizza. Everything was great and served still hot. I also had a glass of wine which was delicious. I think maybe I our waiter was still somewhat new because he seemed a little nervous. Overall it was a beautiful and clean restaurant and the food was great! We'll be back again. read more

Overall for a newer place it wasn't bad but there are some kinks that still need adjusting. We tried an array of dishes to see what flavors were offered. The decor is very simple and could use some more enhancements throughout the restaurant to give us a better ambiance. Focaccia: 1/5 just pass on this, was not good Bruschetta: 5/5 so fresh and loaded with flavor Fried Olives: 3/5 take or leave Pepperoni Pizza: 4/5 very good flavor some burnt spots on the underside Marg Pizza: 2/5 some burnt spots and lacked toppings, felt messy / rushed Chocolate cake: 3/5 is a crumble style cake would be fit from dense shavings on top to be layered inside for the added texture crunch Beverages: 3/5 lavender lemonade was good, the sour was good, the soda was water/flat. Server: 5/5 Isabelle was very kind and attentive throughout the experience even with the wait being longer than usual Wait time: 1/5 we waited 30mins for apps, which didn't come out all together- the pizza was an hour and 10min wait and didn't come out to ether as well... note we ordered the our entire meal at once Overall we will give this place another shot as it seemed to just be an off night. Sous Chef Joey is incredibly kind and talented. His cooking style is truly one of the best -- every dish is beautifully decorated and feels like a piece of art. Even though they had already sold out of desserts, he kindly made a tiramisu on the spot just because I asked. That level of care and hospitality really impressed me. I highly recommend stopping by to try their amazing pizza. The dough is fresh, the tomatoes are vibrant, and the homemade sauce is fantastic. Everything tastes like it was prepared fresh that day. Chef Joey is truly an artist in the kitchen and one of the best chefs in downtown Riverside. He is also very friendly and approachable, which makes the experience even better. Heard this new restaurant opened up close by and wanted to give it a try. Noticed from pictures and video that the restaurant has a nice aesthetic and good food and I'm glad that I visited. The first thing you notice when you come in is how clean and nice the place is. The restaurant has some nice touches like plants by the front counter and flowers on the tables. I also noticed that they had the same owner as Condron coffee next door and got coffee from there, so that was a good bonus! The menu was a bit limited in variety and was made up of starters, salads, pizzas, and some sandwiches. We went with the fried olive starter, the truffle pizza and a bruschetta chicken sandwich. The olive starter may have been the best part of the meal! It was really good and fried to perfection. The sauce was really tasty and it came with almonds on the side which was a nice touch. The bruschetta chicken sandwich was nice and fresh, the only thing I'd change about it was the flavor was a little bit muted. Felt that the sauce in it could have been seasoned a little bit more. The pizza was where things got a bit interesting. We got the truffle pizza but wanted meat on it so we order a customization with sausage. The server came out with a pizza that didn't have sausage and said that the cook accidentally made it but we would get another one. We didn't complain since we'd get two pizzas! The pizza without sausage was really good. The truffle and honey worked together well and the pizza dough was really tasty as well. When we got the pizza with sausage, the cook delivered it to us personally and apologized for the confusion. The pizza without sausage was good but we noticed that it was missing some cheese and seasoning that the original pizza we got had. It wasn't a big deal but we let the server know and they apologized and let us know that both pizzas would be on the house. Honestly, both pizzas were good so we tried to tell them it was okay but they insisted. Overall, the food was really good. There are some things that went wrong with our order but I think the service here really made up for it. Everyone was really nice and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I also understand that they just opened so they may be working out some kinks too. Had an overall good experience here and look forward to visiting again. A good option for lunch! read more

Each time we've been here, their staff has come through with accommodating recommendations. My FAV thing about this spot is the intentionality behind their menu items. Their fried olives are crazy good--flavorful and laid out with nuts and herbs. Their salads: delish. Their pizzas don't disappoint. I was surprised by the overall rustic feel here--even though it's laid back-ish, you can tell they still care enough to make everything taste and look legit. If it's your first time here, go for any of their Veggie or Sausage and Peppers pizza + Walk in the Woods board + a glass of wine. My friends and I decided to check this place out in riverside since it had recently opened. The pizza is so good! I had the truffle pizza which has this unique sweet/savory taste to it. The classic margarita pizza is also so good! None of the pizzas were excessively greasy, had nice thin crusts, and were very good portions. The desserts here are also delicious! Apparently they make the desserts fresh in house everyday. I had the tirasimu :). Overall, my friends and I really loved hanging out here. The service was excellent, place very clean and modern. After being told the kitchen was backed up and running behind and we wouldn't get food for about 30 minutes we thought about it and since there are not many good restaurants in the area so we opted to wait. They were out of all their apps except bruschetta so we ordered the bruschetta. It was really good but the bread was too thin and little over toasted. They were out of romaine lettuce so our cesear was made with arugula and kale. It was a little off (kale?) but the dressing was really good. The pizza really saved the entire experience. It was perfect. Crust was exactly what we're expecting and the toppings were generous. The staff is really nice and kept us informed of everything. We only found this place because of Yelp! Literally never heard anyone talking about it and we drove right past the front of it when we had it in the GPS So we circled back behind the buildings and ended up parking by the back door in a handicap spot Which then, unfortunately, made us have to walk all the way through the restaurant to the hostess podium to be walked halfway back through the restaurant to a table. Then we were sat in the middle of the restaurant and every time the front door is opened we could feel the cold air. However, that was the end of negativity. When food started arriving, we ordered basically three items. Deep-fried olives those were surprisingly delicious and came with almonds. My husband and I both liked it. And the other one was like a cheese I forgot the name of it, but it was very good Then we got the truffle pizza. He wished that there wasn't honey on it because he doesn't like things sweet, but overall the balance was nice and we ate the entire pizza gone. We both also enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir. It was very tasty. The people that work here were extremely pleasant checking in on us to make sure that we enjoyed everything. I loved this place so much while we were sitting there. I was texting friends to tell them about it. I plan on returning soon lots of healthy salads! This place is hard to find the ones you find it. The food was worth it. The fried olives are so good. I highly recommend in those. My friend had the avocado pizza and it was good, especially since she is vegetarian. I had the specialty pizza with the prosciutto. You needed a little more seasoning and I wish that the prosciutto was crispy. Both of the waitresses were nice and they did offer to let us taste any of the wines. Try it you'll like it. read more

Green goddess is not green goddess-like but is SWEET. Cesar is very mild. Ranch is good but is watery. Their Cesar has tomatoes that are begging for salt and pepper. As are the croutons. They need flavor- maybe oil and to be seasoned. Pizza was good but does have an odd taste to the bottom crust so I ate it turned over. A bit of a mixed review for this spot. We're always excited to try a new place and this one looked promising. The inside looks much like their marketing photos on Yelp. Except when you look up. We love the exposed ceiling, however, I think they forgot they need to clean up there, too. It wasn't very busy, maybe three tables and a couple of people at the bar. There were at least five employees on at the time. The service was TERRIBLE. The employees we saw were on the younger side but that doesn't excuse poor service. We were seated relatively quickly but didn't get anyone to our table after that for at least fifteen minutes. We made sure to put our entire order in at once. We ordered a couple of beers, a buratta plate, Caesar salad, the Pepperoni Calabrese pizza and one of their dessert trios. The salads were ok. The burrata plate was really good. The pizza was decent. The ranch was housemade, but sour/old and watered down. My beer was flat, but cold. The dessert trio was tasty but really tiny. We asked specifically for the burrata plate as an appetizer but it came out with the salad and pizza. It took at least another fifteen minutes after we ordered to get our drinks. We also asked for water but didn't receive it until we asked again after we got our beer. The silverware was dirty so we set it at the edge of the table, hoping to ask for new sets but we didn't see anyone again until the food was coming out. Which, by the way, was at least ANOTHER 20 MINUTES AFTER we got our beer. 30 minutes to get beer, 50 minutes for food, and the only thing they had to cook was our pizza. We had to laugh so we could keep from getting irritated, so we joked about how they must have had to milk the cow for the cheese plate n ranch and grow the lettuce for the salad. Normally we would have just drank our beer and left, but we were starving and it would've taken so much longer to go somewhere else and start all over. To top it all off, when we did see any employees, they acted like we were a burden. Zero stars for service. We both ended up in the bathroom as soon as we got home. Either something was bad or they didn't rinse the sanitizer out of the beer glasses properly. read more

This was my 3rd visit and this place never disappoints! My sister had the chicken parmesean sandwich and she loved it! I had the Truffle pizza that is always yummy. Perfect combo of savory and sweet. Diamond, our server was very attentive. We ordered a dessert that was not as fresh as I felt I've had in the past. Ms Diamond immediately insisted she take it off our bill.
