I'll start with the only positive: I've eaten here three times over the past two years, and the ingredients themselves seem to be good quality. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. First, the service is consistently terrible. Second, there is a complete disconnect between what the menu shows and what you actually receive. For example, we ordered both the sausage and peppers sandwich and the meatball sandwich. The first surprise was that they came on small, hard focaccia bread. The menu clearly shows them on a roll. When I asked about it, the guy behind the counter casually said you have to request the roll. Seriously? If that's the default bread, the menu should say so. The meatball AND sausage sandwich were even worse!. Instead of actual sausage they just grilled up the pizza sausage grounds so, it was just small smashed and burnt fragments -- not even the equivalent of half a sausage in total. The Meatball sandwich was just sliced up and tossed onto the hard focaccia. yuk. And of course there are no straws because they're trying to be "eco-friendly." Spare me. For the same prices, you're much better off going to Pizza in Joshua Tree far better food and a much better experience. read more

Love going to this pizza spot! My family frequently orders from here and they never disappoint.my family is a little basic so we always get the pepperoni with jalapeño and garlic seasoning crust. The garlic seasoning has to be my favorite and the crust is really crunchy and well done. The staff is super kind and friendly. The space is pretty big and clean. We've ordered wings from here before and they are pretty good as well. The buffalo sauce is not too tangy and the wings are crispy. We've ordered to go a couple of times and were happy with the pizza so we decided to stop in to eat in house. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as they were on the happy hour menu. We also ordered a medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni. The mozzarella sticks were out within about five minutes. They were hot and the marinara sauce was chunky and really good. The pizza came out in about 10-15 minutes and was really good. Lots of pepperoni. The ambiance inside was nice and they have a really nice outdoor patio. The service was quick and pleasant. This place serves one of the best pizzas I've ever had -, hands down. The flavor is incredibly unique, authentic, and downright delicious. The dough is perfection - you can taste the care that goes into it. On my way out I actually ran into the owner, who couldn't have been nicer. Today I was given the pleasure of having 2 brothers pizza again on the house. I decided to stay away from their sides and try some of their signature pizzas. I ordered a small chicken Alfredo with mushrooms; I was shocked by the good quality of Alfredo sauce and chicken. We also got a medium the works pizza; can never go wrong with a supreme pizza. I'm not honestly not a huge pizza fan unless it's a thin crust or if I'm absolutely craving it. Wife and I finally tried 2 Brothers and man oh man, it was absolutely delicious. Living so close we kick ourselves in the butt for waiting so long to try it. Not only is the food genuinely very good, but the customer service is top tier. Everyone in there was so nice and welcoming. They were constantly checking in on us, making sure everything was tasting ok and that we were happy. It honestly set the mood for our entire experience. We had a med size Bee Sting which is a pepperoni pizza with a drizzle of hot honey and garlic butter crust. WOW. So freaking good and perfect for 2, even had left over slices. Not overly oily or greasy. We also had the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles as an appetizer, best fried pickles I've ever had. Lightly battered and crisped to perfection. We also had a really good cheese pull from the mozz sticks. And I would've kicked myself in the butt if I had left without trying their bone in wings and all I can say is I'm glad I ordered them last minute. I asked for an extra well cook, 1/2 honey garlic 1/2 mango habanero. Both sauces were so delicious and the wings were perfectly cooked to my request, not fatty at all. The restaurant was clean, had cheese and pepper flakes at every table and the music was vibing. Next time we'll definitely be enjoying our food on the patio bc it gives a backyard feel with the string lights. My husband found this place and now goes every time he is in the area. The food is delicious. After eating their pastrami I'm not sure I will ever eat at The Hat again. We live 45 min from this place so when he brought me a sandwich home it was a little warm but now hot. Put in air fryer for 4 minutes and it was incredible. I hope he goes there again soon. This place has definitely mastered their pizza -- easily one of the best spots in town. The dough is just perfect every time. My go-tos are the Rockin' Riverside and the Great White. The flavor of the Great White literally melts in your mouth. Their antipasto salad is also delicious, especially with the freshly chopped meats.
