Best pizza ever!! Thank God for Halal options! I love the beef pepperoni and meat lovers pizza. We ordered a bunch of pizzas for my child's birthday. The gentleman Mohammad was very kind and understanding. He even called back and asked if we wanted napkins/plates and any extras. Some people have mentioned negative things about customer service- I believe that may be a cultural thing or perception. The people here are very quiet, nice, and humble. I've had nothing but good experiences here and we've been here multiple times. Please support this small business! read more

Delicious pizza! My fiancé and I went to savers to donate some things and noticed the sign for this place. I didn't know we had a new pizza shop so we went by to check it out. The staff is nice and welcoming. I ordered a meat lovers small pizza and my fiancé ordered a grilled chicken sub. The wait did take a while but that's good because you know everything is made fresh. My fiancés grilled chicken sub was honestly a little small but he really enjoyed it! He said it tasted so good and he would definitely order it again. I hadn't had pizza in a while when we went and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. It was the perfect size for just me & tasted so yummy! I would definitely go back and try out their other pizzas and maybe get a side in the future. The menu honestly has a lot to choose from and they have drinks (sodas, water etc) inside. Had the pizza was it was one of the best pizzas I've had in Riverside! Service was excellent and they accommodated my request and was very polite. I wasn't able to make it to the location yet to check out the inside because I order for delivery but it can be a hole in the wall and I wouldn't care just keep the quality up and service and we'll order all our pizzas from you! I called in my order about 25 minutes before arriving, but when I got there, the pizza still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting another 25 minutes before I finally received it. The pizza itself wasn't bad, but it was extremely salty. If you like really salty pizza, this might be the place for you. read more

Shoutout to the team at Slice N Sub Pizza! definitely one of those underrated local spots that deserves more love. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked right. Good crust, solid cheese pull, and you can tell they actually care about quality instead of just throwing food together. The subs were legit too. good portions. came by again last week and had another great experience. they are very helpful and welcoming. i did have a wait because there were orders ahead of mine and it is a small place but it was worth it. and they did give me a good estimate of the wait. *jambo chicken wings (6): i ordered all six to be sweet and bold bbq and got them well done like i planned to last time. they were delicious! perfect bite i didn't even really mind the skin because the sauce and cooking made it so i bite through it and just get a good bite. it is usually a texture thing but i had no problems. and so much better than last they were nearly fall of the bone, well done for the win! *the cesar salad: it was fresh and yummy! very crunchy lettuce just how i like it. the cheese and croutons tasted so high quality also. *tuna sandwich: the salad was very simple but delicious nonetheless. i would add pickles next time for more added flavor and texture. bread was very delicious and tasted fresh...i wonder if they bake their own. *small pepperoni pizza: they didn't have any single slices so i went with the personal pizza. it was good and nicely cooked. i did prefer the slices to the small pizza though. i feel like it was a bit too much dough to toppings for my liking since the bigger pizzas are more like a thin crust. this one was a bit thicker but not over cooked or undercooked. would probably get again with their ranch. *garlic bread: the bread had a very nice buttery flavor to it. it had a perfect crunch and was paired with marinara but i opted out of it because it was yummy by itself. you do have the option to add cheese as well. i would try the garlic knots next time. hoping they are similar to dominos' parmesan bread bites. overall i had a great time and will be planning on coming back in again! this is so random but the packing of the order is also very good good. they are packed nicely and then individually packed and labeled in brown paper bags. it avoids any spills and confusion. it also helps the food stay warm for longer! great stuff. read more

I recently visited Slice N Sub, and I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I tried their thin crust veggie pizza and butter chicken pizza which was delicious--the crust was crispy, cheesy, and the fresh ingredients were top-notch. They serve fresh dough and taste great! Waiting on the food. But service was quite unwelcoming. Walked in. The guy was just sitting on the tables. Hopped up. Said hello. Went to the register. And he just stayed on his phone. Messaging or surfing the net. Not sure. But didn't say anything. Didn't do anything. Just looked and his phone as I just stood there. I think he forgot I was there. He looked up and I asked if he was done. He said I was waiting for you. lol. No eye contact. Head down on his phone and he said he was waiting for me to I guess just interrupt him and tell him to take my order. Pretty horrible customer service. But par for the course in this area. Came in a few weeks ago during Ramadan around sunset when it was time to break my fast. I didn't really have time to wait for pizza, so I ordered the burger and the quesadilla. While these two items were not great, the owner and his father offered me dates, brought me a few chicken wings to break my fast with and even let me pray inside the restaurant while my order was being prepared. They were genuinely good hearted people and may God bless them in their business and lives. I'll have to order the pizza one of these days and judging from the other reviews, I'm sure it will be delicious. read more

Just tried some slices of pepperoni pizza, nice seating available the food was fresh, pizza dough was soft with a light crunch. cheese and pepperoni was delicious and hot. This place is a diamond in the rough. Friendly and Excellent service by the staff. I ordered a hot grilled chicken sub Togo. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down. But to enjoy ayce protein for ~25 bucks without having to clean and prep a solid meal, many would realize the true gem that is Red Castle. I remember when their ayce was 13-15 bucks when they opened. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Slice N Sub absolutely blew me away! We went all in with the butter chicken pizza, and oh my goodness, it was bursting with flavor. Every bite had the perfect balance of creamy sauce, tender chicken, and just the right spice. We also grabbed the Philly cheesesteak, which was deliciously packed and satisfying. Then came the cheeseburger, juicy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The garlic parmesan wings? Totally nailed it. Perfectly crispy, coated beautifully, and packed with flavor. To top it off, we had lava cakes for dessert, and they were pure heaven, warm, gooey, and indulgent.
