Churro knots

Really Good! Been wanting to try this place for a while. My only note would be the churro knots NEEDS icing w/ it. Just something to think about lol

Brussels sprouts (yummy but quite heavy)

I've been meaning to try out this place since its original location and finally had the chance to in this new location, replacing what had been a Mediterranean place that I was fond of. The interior is still pretty much the same, which is to say cute but simple vaguely ethnic decor. The food and service were both good although I feel like the portions for the lasagna were way too small. The Brussels sprouts was a decent amount but way too overfried and heavy. Pizza was solid with the fancy pepperoni.

8" Meatball Sub and Chicken Parmigiana

Wanted one of my favorite, cheap pasta places that I used to go to back in college. Back in the day (last year), the prices here were unbeatable, 11$ for pasta and only a couple more to add a protein. A true staple for a broke college student. Upon coming back, I was surprised to see the restaurant empty and after getting settled, I saw one of my worst nightmares... inflation. I don't blame them but ordering a meal that used to be 22$ in total becoming 34$ was slightly disappointing. Thankfully, the taste of this gem didn't change and I was served a hearty portion of chicken parm while my friend ordered a meatball sub. I was very satisfied with the presentation of the meal and I was even hesitant to eat it because of how nice it looked. Nevertheless, I ate the chicken parm passionately as I savored each and every bite. I enjoyed reminiscing the good times in this establishment and I hope to come back soon if I'm ever back in the area.

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, vianos's is the best, this time Samantha recommended the sweet chili wings and they were just what I needed

2nd calzone too doughy and barely any ingredients inside very disappointed this is half of exactly how I received it.

Víano's was recommended by my best friend. First order I got burned dry lasagna but calzone was absolutely delicious. So I called they gave me credit for the burnt lasagna. Second order I was craving calzone so ordered same calzone very disappointed dry too doughy practically empty inside, lasagna much better, medium cheese pizza with half pepperoni half bacon (didn't see any bacon) dry & no flavor. I really wanted to remain a customer but I'm not sure I'll go back. Maybe I need to order and eat there instead of take out

Great pizza, Stromboli and mozzarella sticks! More soon!

Well, it was a nice run. As you can see from the date of our first review, we have been coming here for years. Just recently they hired a new "chef" and he has effectively ruined the menu and raised the prices. I am entirely unsure of why the owners felt there was need for change but I hope it goes well for them. Unfortunately for us, we want the old vianos and recipes back. We are even semi ok with the higher prices but the change in recipes was not an improvement so we won't be going back.

When the cashier tells you the food will be out in 5 minutes, expect that to be 20+min. And I was the only one there... at least they had the tvs on

This is my 2nd time and my son & grandsons 1st time. We ordered Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and Mac & Cheese bites. The Mozzarella Cheese Sticks were just ok for me but my grandson enjoyed them. The Mac & Cheese bites were pretty good dipped in Ranch. For our entree's we ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, 10 inch pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños & pineapple, Beef Lasagna, Garden salad with chicken & Cesar salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. While we ate we enjoyed watching FIGA World Cup Japan vs Netherlands on the TV's displayed over their bar area. Customer service was top tier. We had the cheese curds and fried mac and cheese balls, which came out suspiciously quick. The Mac and cheese balls were still a little cold in the inside but did not take away from their deliciousness. I shared two plates, the Chicken parmigiana and the chicken Alfredo pizza. I really like the chicken parm, it was light and the sauce was flavorful without being too strong. I thought the pizza was okay, extremely cheesy and dry. I would have enjoyed a saucier pizza, the cheese was very overwhelming. The service was very fast and friendly. Checked in on us multiple times and made us feel comfortable. It was a good dinner!

I've *never* had to wait longer than they originally quoted me, which is pretty rare these days! There's this one time that really sticks out, though. I'd asked for an extra-thin pizza, and when I picked it up, one of the guys there - I lovingly call him Pops - actually took one look at it and decided it wasn't quite "thin" enough by his standards. Before I could even say anything, he had them whip up a brand new one that was perfectly, exquisitely thin. Talk about dedication to perfection! Honestly, the whole team there is just fantastic; super friendly and always going the extra mile. And let's not even get started on the food - it's consistently delicious, and the prices are so fair you almost feel like you're getting away with something. If you're looking for a new go-to, I cannot recommend them highly enough. You won't be disappointed!

We went Friday night and yes it was busy but Gioia greeted us and said we could sit at the bar to…read moreeat and drink. This was perfect for us as we were just hungry from not eating since earlier in the day and we just wanted to unwind since we had gone to Glen Ivy for a well deserved soak. First off, I really didn't appreciate the person who was a regular who posted non sensical and petty things about this place. If you have ever been served at a true Italian moms and pops place ...you know things take time as it's made from "scratch". That said...nothing we had that night took too much time to make IMHO. An important thing to note was I was apprehensive to order since I am a Celiac until Gioia told me they had Gluten free pasta for anything except the ravioli and gnocchi. I was ecstatic honestly. Anyhow I did end up with the Chilean sea bass with pasta in a creamy sauce. It was definitely made with parmesan. The pasta itself was al dente (well made and not overdone). My husband had the chicken marsala and was very happy. He wanted me to try it but I told him I couldn't since it had flour (Gioia told me they could always accommodate the marsala for me if I wanted it in the future). That's precious. I thanked her for that. Btw I forgot to mention that they have a QR code for the menu so get ready to try and open that up. We had difficulty only with that though and we had help from a neighboring woman who sent it to my husband's phone. She was a regular and really nice person who had finished eating and was just enjoying a drink with her husband. All in all it was a good night and we got to also chat with two elderly ladies who also were regulars and really kids too. We got to see the owner come out since it was someone's in birthday and it made me laugh to see him with a candle on his head and bringing out the cake for the birthday fellow. I thought that was unique and absolutely adorable. Just know that we highly recommend this Tuscan cuisine and it's made by them personally. They also have a great prep group you get to see in front too. For a busy night I also noticed their one toilet was clean. I am reviewing more here as I wish to let people know the details. Oh and they have a great Chianti and cappuccino too. Our dessert was their cheesecake and that was with blueberry and with amaretto in it. It was so good and even my husband tried some. Yes it was gluten free ...Gioia also checked that before getting it for me. She said they also have almond cookies too and next time I am gonna have to try that. I don't usually go crazy for dessert but this was so tasty and I kind of knew it would be since it's genuinely made with love back there by the owners. I think this family is amazing. Give them a try and don't go if you want to be served in and out like it was fast food. That's not Italian way. I grew up eating Italian foods as I was born there as well as my parents were Croatian and there is a lot of Italian influence over there. It's why when I see food made like this that I know it's right. Thanks for the great night!

Things had already been slipping lately with slow service, burnt food, and even being served a different pasta than what was ordered without being told. We kept giving it grace because the staff had always been kind and it felt like home. This last visit changed that. After appetizers, I went to order my usual pasta with sausage and was told they were out. No one mentioned this earlier. Because I am allergic to dairy, I asked the server to check what options I could have that were dairy free but still included protein. He returned and told me I could have it with cream sauce. At that point, it was clear my allergy wasn't understood, so I asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was too busy and it would be a long wait despite the restaurant only having about four or five tables occupied. That response felt incredibly dismissive. I then asked if I could have chicken instead since it was on the menu. Eventually another server came out and said they could put chicken on the side. When I asked if it could simply be added to the pasta so I could eat it together, he told me no and even said there was no point in asking Alfredo because the answer would be no. After years of loyalty, I was sitting there being offered cream despite clearly stating I have a dairy allergy, with no protein option offered even though steak, chicken, and salmon are all on the menu. We asked for the check and left without a meal. Con Amore used to feel like home. Sadly, it no longer does.

I dropped in for a lunch special - two pieces of combination pizza and a salad. The salad was simple but pleasant, consisting of iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomato and croutons plus my choice of blue cheese dressing. I don't think the dressing was house made, but it was decent. The pizza was the big surprise. The slices were enormous! They were approximately 12" long and about 7" at the top. The toppings were ample, fresh, and included pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sliced sausage, onion, black olives and green pepper. The bottom crust was delightfully crisp as you can only get when you eat in-house. With a soft drink added, the bill was just less than $20. A pretty good deal considering that I'll get an extra meal out of that second piece of pizza. My server was reserved, but very nice, and the food came out quickly. The ambience was basic with comfy booths. I don't think it's changed much since they opened many years ago, although I have been told that there is a new owner these days. Pietro's had has redeemed themselves in my eyes and for that reason I have deleted my previous bad rating. I'll be back sometime soon to try some pasta.
