Pasta classic rich meat sauce with 3 meatballs
    Stephanie T.

Our server Sierra was super sweet/friendly, efficient & attentive. The food was good (not completely great) but because of the excellent service, I gave it an extra star. Restaurant is a bit outdated (not sure if they're going for the vintage look but it would be nice if they could renovate the restaurant). All in all, the clam pasta was amazing. It's my fave pasta every time. The rich meat sauce pasta was good only because the meat balls were added. Otherwise the pasta alone wouldn't be good. The meatballs are full of flavor, highly recommend! The spumoni ice cream was very light. Delicious!

My favorite -- Garlic Mizithra! I live for this dish!

Friday, 1-01-26: We all came here after seeing the lights at Mission Inn since it was nearby. We hadn't been to this particular OSF in years. I know it was converted from an old warehouse and has the Old World aesthetic interior. As soon as you walk in your eyes immediately go to a beautiful stained glass picture above the ornate woodwork of the check in counter. Hostess was friendly & immediately showed us to our table. Our server was welcoming, quick & efficient. Love the Old World charm with the fancy light fixtures and other adornments as if you've been transported to another place & time! My absolute favorite dish is Garlic Mizithra. While waiting for our meals their hot, piping bread was served. We all enjoyed our food and our server made our experience here very satisfying!

Came with co workers to celebrate EOY!! The restaurant has that nostalgic vintage theme!! Dim lighting and high ceiling gives you that feeling of open space! Love the different design and shape stained capiz and glass chandeliers hanging all around the factory like restaurant! Even their different dining chairs and booth has the velour green or red backs for renaissance look!! Love the parked train trolley seating and would love to take grandkids to dine in it!! This Italian restaurant is a family owned and had been serving since 1969 with 13 US locations !! We were seated in a private open room for 14 people reservation! Our server Elizabeth gave a stellar service, took care of our orders and drinks !! Ordered the the Complete 3- Course Meal Deal that includes a choice of a green salad or minestrone soup snd for dessert a scoop spumoni ice cream with their Famous Baked Lasagna which is Layers of noodles smothered on top with Marinara sauce, and stuffed with ground beef and pork, as well as four cheeses. Lasagna was kinda a small size serving for the price !!! It was mildly seasoned but needed more cheese toppings !!!

This is my favorite Old Spaghetti location. Food tastes fresh always and the service is always 10/10. The Redlands location definitely needs to learn a bit more from this location.

    Tuscan Chicken

We used to come here (specifically to the Trolley Square location in Salt Lake City, Utah) all the time with my great grandma. It was always for special occasions and it holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I came with a large party and I was pretty excited. I felt bad for our server because he seemed to be very young and even new. Despite all that, he was great and organized and did well with handling so many different tickets and orders. I got the cotton candy limeade and I kinda wish it was a taller glass because it was SO good! I don't know what cotton candy brand they use but, it tasted like gourmet cotton candy and it was just perfect! We also got the Sicilian Garlic Cheese Bread as an appetizer and that was super yummy too. My husband lived in Italy for 2yrs and so he grew up having authentic Italian food, meaning he's HARD to please. And he really liked the bread! He got the Lasagna and also enjoyed that, but he's used to the Italian version where they use a cream sauce rather than the crumbly cheese. I got the Tuscan Chicken and that was an absolute perfect combo of fettuccine flavors with a wonderful sauce my father-in-law makes from Italy and it was SO good!! It could've used a little more chicken but overall, super yummy.

Always a great experience at the Old Spaghetti Factory! The establishment is super clean, and the customer service is excellent. A huge shout-out to Melissa F., who is a true professional. Her service was exceptional--it was the kind of attentive and seamless care that rarely happens these days. I was so impressed that I doubled my usual maximum tip from $10 to $20. She's outstanding!

Had to feed the BF, so we decided to go to old spaghetti factory. It was busy, but we did not post long for a table. They are currently having an anniversary sale, so many of their entrees are discounted thru the end of January. My only complaint is I ordered the spaghetti and I got very little sauce! I love the decor, it a lot of dep rich wood, stain glass windows and antiques; feels like your walking back in time.

    Bug in my salad
    Kathy J.

***My review**My opinion **IJS* I cannot believe what happen tonight, not only did I find a bug in my salad, but they did not even offer a discount. This was crazzzzziiii.. Our food as you can see was not the business tonight. Yes it was busy, but to just ask us if we'd like another salad was a slap in our face. We are professional so we paid our bill and left. Never ever again will we step foot in this place. The waitress was so embarrassed and never returned. The manager came with a fake smile. But offered us nothing for the problem..Go at your own risk.. Check your food too!! Real food tastier!! IJS...My opinion..My review

Some of the best clam chowder I've had in a very long time
    Tim B.

Everyone knows and has been to The Old Spaghetti Factory. I haven't been in a few years and decided to pop in for a lunch and I can honestly say I really enjoyed my meal in the service. The places is still charming as ever and I went out on a limb and try the soup of the day which was clam chowder, and I must say it was some of the best clam chowder I've had in a very long time. Each bite had clam in it and it had the perfect amount of salt. I must say it paired very well with the bread that they give, and the two together were delicious. Peanut butter jelly in addition to that I also ordered the Pot Pourri and each of the three flavors coffee made each other well. I love the fact that you can have a variety of things on one plate and this plate too paired well with the bread.

The service was horrible. We stood waiting to be seated for 20 minutes. As food servers and other employees went about their days. The place was virtually empty so not sure where or what they were doing besides ignoring my son and I. The drinks when they did come and take our order after being seated were delicious. And the spaghetti and meatballs were awesome which is why I wanted and waited to be seated. The salad was soggy and gross. Buuuuy the meatballs were so good. I was sad. Did you just not want us there? Should we have ordered our food to go over the phone? No more meatballs for me?

You don't go to the Spaghetti if you are looking for gourmet Italian dinner. This is not the place you are looking for. But if you are looking for a place to meet up with friends, have a large party and want to spend quality time with friends this is your place. I have used their banquet room for baby and wedding showers and had a great time. I love the fact that they are not rushing out the door when you have a large party. They offer lots of room and an amazing bar and great service. Highly recommend for large parties and is very family friendly.

4/4/25 It has been ages since visiting this OSF, reminds me of the old OSF in Hollywood. Met up with friends that we've worked with at the OSF Hollywood at this restaurant today, two of which visiting from Texas with their daughter (who attends UC Riverside). Some friends I have known since 1986! We meet at OSFs regularly. The ambiance is nostalgic with fixtures that match the vibe, casual. It feels like a family themed restaurant. The food is always great, we usually order our favorites that we do not normally find anywhere else, clam sauce with mizithra cheese (with that delicious & aromatic browned butter--must try!!). Our server was Hugo, he is amazing! Very attentive & the rest of the staff helped to ensure our dining experience was phenomenal. Would definitely return if in the area. Parking is free & plentiful. Check it out!!

A classic out in downtown Riverside. I don't know why the initial interior smell is quite an acquired taste. I blame the Parmesan lol. After the waft of newish scents it becomes tolerable after looking at the menu options. All the meals come with fresh bread, minestrone soup or garden salad & vanilla or spumone ice cream for dessert. Great service! Once we walked in there was a line. We opted for open bar seating and they were accommodating even though they were short staffed. Our service was not lacking by any means. We were well taken care of in a timely manner. Tortellini is a fav. A great visit every time! Street parking right in front or there is extra parking across the street and behind the building by the fitness center. They also host paint nights along with murder mystery dinners in the banquet room for ticketed guests. We've attended the murder mysteries usually a large group of people, all trying to figure out whodunnit. Theme dress attire is encouraged but not required. Be there early to claim your preferred seating. A fun twist on dinner theater, interactive alongside some tasty pasta!

Things had already been slipping lately with slow service, burnt food, and even being served a different pasta than what was ordered without being told. We kept giving it grace because the staff had always been kind and it felt like home. This last visit changed that. After appetizers, I went to order my usual pasta with sausage and was told they were out. No one mentioned this earlier. Because I am allergic to dairy, I asked the server to check what options I could have that were dairy free but still included protein. He returned and told me I could have it with cream sauce. At that point, it was clear my allergy wasn't understood, so I asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was too busy and it would be a long wait despite the restaurant only having about four or five tables occupied. That response felt incredibly dismissive. I then asked if I could have chicken instead since it was on the menu. Eventually another server came out and said they could put chicken on the side. When I asked if it could simply be added to the pasta so I could eat it together, he told me no and even said there was no point in asking Alfredo because the answer would be no. After years of loyalty, I was sitting there being offered cream despite clearly stating I have a dairy allergy, with no protein option offered even though steak, chicken, and salmon are all on the menu. We asked for the check and left without a meal. Con Amore used to feel like home. Sadly, it no longer does.

The salad was simple but pleasant, consisting of iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomato and croutons plus my choice of blue cheese dressing. I don't think the dressing was house made, but it was decent. The pizza was the big surprise. The slices were enormous! They were approximately 12" long and about 7" at the top. The toppings were ample, fresh, and included pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sliced sausage, onion, black olives and green pepper. The bottom crust was delightfully crisp as you can only get when you eat in-house. With a soft drink added, the bill was just less than $20. A pretty good deal considering that I'll get an extra meal out of that second piece of pizza. My server was reserved, but very nice, and the food came out quickly. The ambience was basic with comfy booths. I don't think it's changed much since they opened many years ago, although I have been told that there is a new owner these days. Pietro's had has redeemed themselves in my eyes and for that reason I have deleted my previous bad rating. I'll be back sometime soon to try some pasta.

Food was good but I don't feel good enough to justify the prices. $27 for spaghetti and meatballs. Spaghetti sauce was plentiful but bland. Meatballs were much tastier. I don't think they cooked the meatballs in the sauce, which would have enhanced the flavor of both. It's a nice and fun place to try but I wouldn't put it on regular rotation.

The food was mediocre. I ordered a caprese panini. It was on a french roll, not a panini at all, not a pressed sandwich. The mozzarella had melted almost completely out of the sandwich, and there was only a little balsamic drizzle so the sandwich had almost no flavor at all. I didn't see any basil anywhere. It was served with a salad which had almost no dressing on it so it was very boring also. When I asked for a side of dressing, the server brought me a little cup with about a tablespoon of dressing. My husband ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and it was good but very one-note. This restaurant does not reflect the quality of the Mission Inn at all. Only the wine and ambiance were up to par for this hotel. The food was not at all.
