I absolutely LOVE Luna Grill, and it never disappoints! Mediterranean food is one of my favorites, and this is definitely one of my go-to spots. I tried the new Roasted Garlic Lemon Chicken Skewer in the Santorini Bowl, and it was SO good! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious as always. And I have to give a special shoutout to Nick! He truly went above and beyond and provided excellent service from start to finish. It's always nice when someone genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. I got it on DoorDash and it was packaged nicely and neatly. The food is flavored well, the fries were super salty tho. The spicy hummus was also just ok, gyro meat was well seasoned and a hit with my kids. I've never been inside the store and didn't have their service Iive since I ordered online but the food was packaged nicely and separately with the sauces on the side and utensils and napkins included. Here's a balanced review that sounds natural and fair: I stopped by to give this new restaurant a try and overall had a positive experience. The restaurant was extremely clean, well organized, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They definitely deserve five stars for their service and the atmosphere. As for the food, I think there's still some room for improvement. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, and unfortunately it was dry and overcooked. To me, it also had a slightly unusual, almost chemical-like taste, although that was just my personal experience. The hummus was a bit bland and could have used more flavor. On the positive side, the pita bread tasted fresh, and the koobideh was moist, flavorful, and easily my favorite part of the meal. Overall, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. Because the service and cleanliness were excellent, I'd definitely be willing to give it another try. Next time, I'll probably order something different and see how the rest of the menu compares. read more

I had heard lots of good things about Luna grill so i decided to try it myself. I will say Riverside has lots of Mediterranean restaurants already so i was ready to see how it would compare. Overall i had a good experience with service. I ordered online and my order was ready sooner than expected. It's good to know that your food is done quick but at the same time it meant my kabob was cold by the time i got home. The lady who gave me my order was very nice and attentive. Inside is pretty small but they offer at least 5/6 booths if you wish to dine in. Inside is really clean as well. I ordered the beef koobideh with a modern greek salad and spicy hummus as sides. And garlic herb sauce. The beef itself was cold but tasted really good it was cooked medium I'd say so if you prefer well done make sure to request that. The salad dressing was too acidic for me . The salad itself already has sour items like banana peppers, and pickled onions (olives but i requested no olives) Which i do enjoy but with the dressing it was too acidic. The hummus wasn't spicy and i did not like the after taste. Overall the food was okay i would probably go with different sides next time. But overall i don't think it's the best Mediterranean spot in riverside. I do appreciate their rewards app though which offers good deals and coupons. read more

My husband and I have waited months for this Luna grill to open and as soon as we walked in, our lunch got even better! Miss Rachel is the sweetest and she was so kind and attentive! The food was absolutely amazing and the place was spotless,including their restroom! The entire staff was always checking to see if we needed anything and if our food was satisfactory. I'm pleased to say, I highly recommend this location especially if you've never had Luna Grill. Delicious Mediterranean food from salads, to pitas, kabobs, and the most delicious sauces to complement! Did I mention their desserts? Cookies, Brownies, and Baklava all delicious in their own right! Yummy variety of drinks including iced herbal teas, soft drinks, and various bottled and canned choices. I had the Lunatic Sampler and unfortunately it was disappointing. As you can see in the photo the falafel is too dark and overcooked. Everything else was bland and just not satisfying. When we would go the rice was well cooked not crunchy and the chicken was so well seasoned. This time I went and my chicken was so burned and super hard, the rice was crunchy I'm pretty bummed out since this was our go to spot. And unfortunately we ordered four meals. SO HAPPY this location finally opened!!! I used to drive all the way to Eastvale to get my fix but thankful there's a location that's much closer. I usually order online to make it easier for pickup. I had a pretty large order and they got everything correct. The location is clean and the staff were friendly. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The staff, especially Sofia, were very helpful. We had a difficult time deciding what we wanted (having never been there before) and the menus were given to us right away at the counter. It is difficult to try to think of what you want when you're looking up at the board, so that was much appreciated. The food was delicious and they came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was good. We saw many, many people coming for takeout, but we were one of two groups in the restaurant itself and received all of their attention. Win/win. read more

The good, the pita chips are probably the best thing I've ever found at any type of Mediterranean restaurant. Slightly toasted pita with some spice on it tastes amazing. Chicken kebab not overcooked not dry. Good flavor. Hummus also very very good. Now we get into the rest. The regular pita was not soft, not stale, but not pleasant like most other places. The gyro meat, sliced too thin, underseasoned, and overcooked. I love Mediterranean/Greek food, but my expectations were nowhere close to being met with this first trip to Luna Grill. I've had Luna grill at other locations please do yourself a favor and head down to Sam's pita. My plate was 19.02 and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. My pita tasted stale, the cabbage slaw was not good and my kobedeh was dry. The only positive thing I had were the fries. Exceptional Customer Service from Nick! I had such a wonderful experience at Luna today, thanks to Nick! I was rushing to grab lunch between work meetings and, in my haste to place my order ahead of time, accidentally ordered the wrong bowl. While I was eating, Nick came by to make sure everything was okay. I told him everything was fine and casually mentioned that I had simply ordered the wrong bowl because I was rushing and wanted my food ready when I arrived. Without hesitation--and without me even asking--he asked what I actually wanted and went out of his way to prepare the correct bowl for me. That kind of genuine hospitality and customer service really stands out. Nick took what could have been an ordinary rushed lunch and turned it into such a positive experience. My family and I Walked into a Santorini type vibes, beautiful establishment, we were greeted by Nick who advised me to sign up for rewards as kids eat free Monday - Thursday and we get rewards with our order today so I took the time and did it. We ended up saving $20 on our order due to meal so we were already off to a great start thanks Nick!, we were dining inside we sat and within 15 min we got our food. The trio dip is delicious, the bowls were amazing you can truly taste the fresh ingredients. Nick did a great job catering to our needs and checking up on us. The food is great! The service is not so great. This location info says it open until 9PM. I ordered online twice from this location with pickup times between 7:45-7:50PM. Come at the exact time and the door is locked. Both times I'm just standing there, trying to wave people down. While they are just talking to each other. They see me there, waiting trying to get their attention and straight up ignore me. Then they gesture they are closing and I'm gesture PLEASE I JUST WANT ME FOOD! That I can see from the door with a few other orders. Then it finally clicks in their head, the ONLINE ORDERS and open the door. And proceed to give me my food. This happened twice, same situation. To management: People tell your employees if they lock the door and someone is waiting still trying to get their attention, please don't ignore them.
