The good, the pita chips are probably the best thing I've ever found at any type of Mediterranean restaurant. Slightly toasted pita with some spice on it tastes amazing. Chicken kebab not overcooked not dry. Good flavor. Hummus also very very good. Now we get into the rest. The regular pita was not soft, not stale, but not pleasant like most other places. The gyro meat, sliced too thin, underseasoned, and overcooked. I love Mediterranean/Greek food, but my expectations were nowhere close to being met with this first trip to Luna Grill. I got it on DoorDash and it was packaged nicely and neatly. The food is flavored well, the fries were super salty tho. The spicy hummus was also just ok, gyro meat was well seasoned and a hit with my kids. I've never been inside the store and didn't have their service Iive since I ordered online but the food was packaged nicely and separately with the sauces on the side and utensils and napkins included. I know it is next to blaze pizza and sharetea and subway and California grill share a parking lot with them. read more

I had the Lunatic Sampler and unfortunately it was disappointing. As you can see in the photo the falafel is too dark and overcooked. Everything else was bland and just not satisfying. Think I'm more of a Pita Street or Kabob Crush girl. Ordered To Go, service was slow but space clean and bright. read more

I had heard lots of good things about Luna grill so i decided to try it myself. I will say Riverside has lots of Mediterranean restaurants already so i was ready to see how it would compare. Overall i had a good experience with service. I ordered online and my order was ready sooner than expected. It's good to know that your food is done quick but at the same time it meant my kabob was cold by the time i got home. The lady who gave me my order was very nice and attentive. Inside is pretty small but they offer at least 5/6 booths if you wish to dine in. Inside is really clean as well. I ordered the beef koobideh with a modern greek salad and spicy hummus as sides. And garlic herb sauce. The beef itself was cold but tasted really good it was cooked medium I'd say so if you prefer well done make sure to request that. The salad dressing was too acidic for me . The salad itself already has sour items like banana peppers, and pickled onions (olives but i requested no olives) Which i do enjoy but with the dressing it was too acidic. The hummus wasn't spicy and i did not like the after taste. Overall the food was okay i would probably go with different sides next time. But overall i don't think it's the best Mediterranean spot in riverside. I do appreciate their rewards app though which offers good deals and coupons. read more

SO HAPPY this location finally opened!!! I used to drive all the way to Eastvale to get my fix but thankful there's a location that's much closer. I usually order online to make it easier for pickup. I had a pretty large order and they got everything correct. The location is clean and the staff were friendly. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Some pieces of the gyro were a little burnt but it was fine. I decided to try the chickpea salad this time and it was tasty. Had lots of flavor and tasted super fresh. read more

I will start by saying I am a frequent customer of Luna Grill, Riverside. I routinely enjoy the food and appreciate a healthier choice of food to eat. However, having said...what would have otherwise been a "5" star review...I am unfortunately, giving a whopping "2"!!! Here's why: The Classic Pita that I ordered recently was soaked in the tzatziki sauce resulting in a very unpleasant and very "WET" Pita. Several bites were taken (about a quarter down) before I bit into the first piece of chicken that did not look nor have the classic taste of Luna Grill's grilled chicken but rather that of a cold and flavorless chopped chicken--not what I was expecting at all... or realized would be my order. Additionally, when I requested the table be cleaned -- it was done so by a staff member with the most dirty and nasty appearing rag that should have been put with items to wash, already ... if not thrown out altogether. The rag was off putting to look at let alone see it used to clean a table where customers are going to sit to have a meal. Even worst. While waiting for my food... I "observed a customer" given her meal to go. That same customer returned about five or more minutes later advising that the sauce given her was not what she wanted as she took it from her bag and handed back to staff/server in exchange for the sauce she wanted. Instead of the staff/server throwing out the sauce that was returned/brought back in from the "outside" by the customer--THE SAUCE WAS RETURNED TO THE SMALL FRIDGE! CERTAINLY UNSANITARY AND DANGEROUS TO BE QUITE HONEST. If this action was not egregious enough--that same staff/server - waring many hats.... Had been wiping the tables with the nasty rag I mentioned above. Sweeping the floor like the maintenance man--followed by touching the keys at the register while taking customer orders and YET, handling customers food, and grabbing the plastic eating utensils that are going in customers mouths...above the handles with those SAME UNWASHED HANDS. ALL THAT CROSS CONTAMINATION... NOT GOOD! NOT SAFE! NOT APPETIZING! TURNED MY STOMACH... Needless to say ... this particular Dining Experience was DISAPPOINTING and this particular Luna Grill Meal was a FAIL and the food went in the trash... not even 1/2 way eaten and not enjoyable at all ... to say the least. ...and by the way LUNA GRILL DECISION MAKERS ... it would certainly be nice if the trash location COULD BE "COVERED" considering the location is sooooo close to the cup lids and the straws. It's not a pleasant thing to see or have to reach over trash to grab your cup lid or straw just before you're about to eat. I understand you're dealing with a limited amount of Realestate spacing in your design ... but some type of trash /cover-lids should be doable or maybe the trash can be discarded more frequently. I have been to this location several times because I do business in the area often. I was very pleased that there is a Riverside location so I don't have to go to Corona or Menifee. The manager, Nick was very friendly and helpful, as was the staff. The food was wonderful. Everything was hot and fresh because it is made to order. They have this green sauce that I love. It's called "shug" not sure of the spelling. It's really good on their rice. It's kinda hard to describe but it's tasty. I definitely recommend the salmon if you like seafood. There may be a wait especially if you go during lunch so be prepared for a wait. But it is well worth it. Download the app if you're in a hurry. That will save you time. read more

I recently had my first experience at your restaurant, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant one. My original order was for the crunch pita, but unfortunately, your restaurant was out of the ingredient needed for it. As a result, I was offered the regular pita, which unfortunately had charcoal-grilled and burnt chicken. To make matters worse, I had ordered rice as a side dish, but it was not provided. We arrived early on a weeknight and they sat us in a huge booth. The red sangria was to die for - in a big round glass with the mint and citrus touches adding to the aroma experience. We both had the green chicken enchiladas - they were beautiful and tasty. Surprisingly our bill was in the same general range as a major chain restaurant. The service was really good!
