The place was full of great energy--everyone laughing, catching up, and enjoying themselves--which made the experience even better. The vibes definitely reminded me of Palm Springs. The dimly lit lighting was nice at night. The service was also good, our waiter helped provide us with recommendations and made sure to stay on top of our food. The food and drinks all came out in a timely manner. I appreciated how it didn't come out too quick just so we were able to really appreciate being there. The drinks were all so yummy definitely strong but also sweet, no complaints about that. Just wished they were a little bit colder. As for the food I have to say that was the weakest area for this establishment. Wish the food would come out hotter, and I think it did lack flavor. Everything was just simply good or okay but nothing really stood out, maybe just the chili garlic fries. The chicken and pasta were well cooked but the sauces were nothing special. Junes is a nice rooftop bar with beautiful views, especially at sunset. I'd recommend adding more space heaters, though, because it can get pretty chilly up there as the evening goes on, especially outside of summer. The drinks are decent, though it probably depends on who makes them. I was introduced to a dark gin that was really impressive, and whatever the bartender made was pretty good. Overall, I'd recommend Junes for a quick bite and drink right before sunset. The first time I went, the music was great--R&B, including Leon Thomas--which really set the vibe. When the sunset is not out yet and you're early that sun is blazingggg hot and it's the IE it's also like 100 degree weather, I would die if I was in the direct sun and there was no shade. Kinda irritated me when the front desk said "we can't guarantee an umbrella, bc if I sat in the sun I would've left". Anyways we got "lucky" and we sat in the shade and then after that our experience was way better. First off Violeta our server was really sweet, she really catered to our party and her recommendation of the spicy shrimp pasta (that was only a special that weekend, it should be on the main menu) it was sooooo good. It was spicy but not too spicy and had lots of flavor with plump juicy shrimp. We ordered another plate to go!! That good! Had a reservation for this place as we had a larger group. It is breezy and pretty cold in the spring time, so make sure you bring a jacket for dinner. Also if you're catching the sunset, make sure you don't forget your sunglasses as the sun may be directly in your eyes. The place being a rooftop restaurant means you have pretty good views of the surrounding area. The service was great as we had no less than 4 people checking in on our table. Now the food came out pretty quickly and was great. The short rib had great flavor, but was slightly dry. The mashed potatoes were really good and so was the broccolini. Everyone else said their dishes were great. The think the portions were perfect and the price was reasonable. I look forward to another visit to try other menu items. The only gripe I have, and it is very minor is that the room leading to the elevator on the first floor is tiny, which was pretty full with our group and the people leaving the elevator. read more

Junes was such a great vibe for date night. We did not want to drive to Anaheim to another rooftop restaurant so I searched one near us and Junes popped up. I called in and the staff was so nice to squeeze us in for a table of 2. This really made my day because I was desperate to have a rooftop dinner! Lol anyways we got there and the parking is shared with hotel parking so there's parking all over. We walked to the door and there's an elevator with signs that guide you on where to go. We get to Junes and once the elevator doors open up you step into a whole new world. So much tranquility and Beautiful vibes I swear the place had such good energy oozing. The decor was dainty which I loved and as soon as I saw the color coordination of the restaurant I was like wait a min I have to see who owns this restaurant! Such a great job with everything. Back to the review the food was delicious we ordered chicken meatballs for appetizer they were Made with leeks, spinach, feta, creamy leek sauce it was very scrumptious and for our main course SHORT RIB plate which was au jus, sumac, potato & sunchoke mash, garlic broccolini. Wow the flavor in that rib was soooo mouth watering . My taste buds were going crazy! The broccolini was huge I haven't seen those in a while which means good product lol . We had an 8:00 PM reservation for a party of five. While our seating and initial appetizers were prompt, we waited over an hour for our main courses. Ultimately, only two of our five entrees arrived. When we inquired, we faced an additional 35-minute delay in communication. A bar supervisor assured us our bill would be comped due to the delay. However, the final check only discounted a single meal. Seeking to avoid a scene, we paid the remaining balance and asked for our food to be packaged to go. Unfortunately, upon arriving home, the quality of the food was entirely unacceptable. I have attached a photo of the meal for your review. Imagine eating outside in the open and on a rooftop of a building, very cool indeed! From the appetizers and main dish, we really liked it. The popcorn chicken were very flavorful, crunchy and tender at the same time, the bread was good but I had better. What i really like was their caesar salad. Probably one of the best caesar salad I've ever had. The idea of crushing the croutons and spreading iver a salad was genius. From the dressing, cheese and chicken was perfect appetizer for me. The spicy fries i like because I love spicy food but it might be too spicy for people who dont like spicy food. The crunch on that fries was perfect. I also had the beef short rib, very very tender but i thought it lacked an umami flavor to it, but it is still good dont get me wrong. The salmon dish was ok. Such a beautiful rooftop in the IE! Prices are a bit steep though given the location. It's on top of a hotel and the entrance is hidden in the back near the valet parking. The best item was their popcorn chicken style appetizer. The focaccia bread was a bit doughy and thick, and the carbonara pasta was one note in my opinion. Their drinks are great though. Yesterday after work, my mom and I decided to stop by Junes for a glass of wine. We were both wearing our work scrubs, as we had just gotten off work. We asked the hostess if we could sit in the bar area. She told us she would check to see if there were any seats available because she "couldn't have us standing." She then told us she needed to check with the bar server to see if he was willing to take anyone in his area, which we found unusual. We then asked if we could simply put our names on the waitlist. We were told that she wasn't sure when we would be seated and that it would depend on canceled reservations. Again, this seemed strange to us, especially since we could see the bar area from the restroom and noticed there were several open seats, as well as an open standing table. There were also other patrons standing in the area, despite us previously being told that standing was not an option. At that point, my mom and I became uncomfortable and decided to leave. Before leaving, my mom asked the hostess directly if we were unable to be seated because we were wearing scrubs and whether there was a dress code. The hostess said that was not the case. We left feeling as though we were simply not wanted there. I want to be clear that we cannot say for certain why we were treated this way, but the experience left us questioning whether our appearance or attire played a role. My family has been part of this community for over 20 years, and we have never experienced anything that made us feel discriminated against in our own community until this evening. That is what made this experience especially disappointing. We are not asking for special treatment, just the same courtesy and hospitality that should be extended to every guest. My husband and I visited June's last night without a reservation. We recently welcomed our third child in June, and our parents offered to keep our two older children overnight, so we decided to take advantage of the opportunity to try somewhere new together. I had been eyeing June's since I was pregnant and had been looking forward to finally going after giving birth so I could enjoy a glass of wine. We arrived around 6:30 PM, and although the restaurant didn't appear particularly busy, we were informed by the host that it was actually their busiest time and that our wait could potentially be over an hour. I understood that reservations are strongly suggested, so I figured they were likely waiting for reservations to arrive. We were then offered the option of sitting in the lounge, where we were told we could be served sooner. We found a seat in the lounge, and we already knew what we wanted to order because we had looked over the menu beforehand. Shortly after, two other parties sat down in the lounge and were immediately greeted by staff and had their orders taken. A waiter also came over to check on a couple who had already been sitting at a nearby table before we arrived, but left without acknowledging us at all. We eventually saw another couple finish their drinks and leave, so we moved to the seats they had been occupying, hoping we would finally be noticed. Unfortunately, we continued to be overlooked. Eventually, my husband was able to get the attention of a waiter to place an order. The waiter noticed that we didn't have a table or stand in front of us and immediately left to find one before taking our order. When he couldn't locate one, he went back to serving other guests, and we weren't given any update about what was happening. Meanwhile, we watched multiple people who had arrived after us get greeted, served, and taken care of while we were still waiting just to order a drink. It was 88 degrees outside, and we hadn't even been offered water. My husband finally got the waiter's attention again and explained that we were frustrated with the experience. The waiter apologized, brought us water, and took our drink and food order. He then went to speak with the manager. That's when Megan, the manager, came over to personally apologize and address what had happened. She offered to move us from the lounge to a table, which we gladly accepted. We were assured that our order would follow us to the new table. Myla was our waitress, and she reassured us that she had spoken with Megan and that our food and drinks would be brought directly to our table. From that point forward, the experience completely changed. Our drinks were great, and our food was absolutely delicious. I also had to feed my newborn during dinner, and after I finished giving her a bottle, Myla kindly offered to rinse it out for me. It was such a small gesture, but as a new mom, I really appreciated it. They also brought us a complimentary dessert, which was such a sweet surprise. They had no idea that it was also my birthday, so that made the gesture feel even more special. What started out feeling like a complete disaster ended up becoming a really nice night. I'll be honest: being newly postpartum, exhausted, and already emotional, I was initially so frustrated that I felt like I could cry. But thanks to Megan and Myla, we left June's with huge smiles on our faces. I really appreciated Megan taking the time to personally address our concerns and make things right, and Myla was wonderful once we were seated. The food and drinks were delicious, and the way the experience was turned around made a big difference. We came in expecting a relaxing night out together after welcoming our third baby, and despite the rocky beginning, that's ultimately what we got. They have a golden hour special from 5-7pm for house wine, spritzers, and beer. Our order included: *Focaccia bread- amazing! Huge portion, great flavor, and a yummy compounded butter. *Beet salad- Our favorite thing! Beets, feta, olives, tomato's, and a light dressing. *Grilled artichoke- We won't order this again. Hard, almost inedible with just a few leaves. The whole setting feels relaxed and easy, especially when the sky starts to change color. The beers were cold and tasty, and the service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. That said, everything moved a little slower than expected. It took almost 30 minutes to get a kids' order of chicken nuggets, which felt long for a normal dinner crowd. Drinks and the rest of the food also seemed to take a bit more time than usual. Still, the staff was kind, the atmosphere was nice, and the views helped make up for the wait. A good server can make up for a lot, but unfortunately that wasn't the case here. We left feeling frustrated instead of enjoying our meal. On Sunday evening I was sitting at the bar area where my server named Manie (if I'm not mistaken) failed to take my order correctly. I asked him a couple questions about the menu to which he didn't have an answer to anything, and honestly he just looked confused. I'm not sure if he's new or something but even then are staff not trained to understand the menu?? Anyways, I ended up ordering a Caesar salad with STRICTLY no cheese- due to dietary restrictions that I made sure to let the server know about. And still to my surprise my salad came with cheese. My boyfriend surprised me with a date to June's and it was honestly so refreshing and adorable! June's is a rooftop bar and restaurant. The views overlook the mountains around Eastvale/Inland Empire, and it was a bit windy (we went towards the evening, around 7:00PM) so come with a coat! The vibes really set them apart from other restaurants I've been to. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming, and personable. The food was delicious as well. The focaccia was a lot taller than I expected, but still delightfully spongey and not dense with good amounts of oil drizzled over. The corn ribs were so good, they are a must get if you are a corn enjoyer like I am. They can feel a little messy to eat, but it's corn! For the main entree, I got the steak & frites! I don't know what I was expecting, but I got literally a whole steak with frites LOL I feel like I got used to some restaurants serving a few pieces of steak with their frites so it was a pleasant surprise but it was a lot of food! All in all, I had the most splendid time at June's. I did not opt for an alcoholic beverage at the time that I had gone, but I definitely will try one out next time :-) read more

First time @ June's, I was super excited to have an LA-esq restaurant in Eastvale. It's on the roof of the staybridge hotel. The entrance is around the corner of the hotel entrance, there's a big pink sign for June's. Walking in, the vibes were perfect. It's like you transported to Palm Springs. The servers were really attentive. I ordered the Honeymooner and it was a classic Lychee martini. Tastes amazing. Here comes the food: Spicy pomodoro: Spicy but really good. I would 100% recommend this dish, generous portion. One thing to note though is that there are black flakes throughout the dish (see photo). It tasted like burnt char on a cast iron skillet lol I'm pretty sure it was, looking at all the other yelp pics of the pomodoro that did not have that. Steak frites: Fail. This was the worst cut of steak I have had in a really long time. I mean I pick better supermarket steak to cook at home. So much tendon, really tough piece of meat to cut & chew. For being in eastvale where there are farms everywhere, I would imagine a better selection. This was also the most expensive thing on the menu. You cannot get this wrong or it's a crime. The tallow fries that came with the dish were excellent though. This restaurant has so much potential, I'm looking forward to seeing it evolve in the future. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the entire evening. I started with the Herb Focaccia paired with a Calabrian chili brown butter sauce which was rich, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. That sauce deserves its own spotlight. Drinks: 1. Mocktail Dreamsicle tasted like a grown up orange creamsicle and was delicious! 2. Golden Hour had tequila, passionfruit, pasilla, cacao, and lime. Smooth with a sweet foam top that was addictive. 3. Luck of the Draw was strong and bold which we a bourbon old fashioned had honey, bitters, and pistachio notes. Entrees: 1. Spicy Pomodoro Lumache with added spicy chicken meatballs, it sounded promising but didn't wow me. Would skip next time. 2. Gnocchi alla Norma with junbo tiger shrimp. This was the star dish. Dry Aged Cheeseburger: Decent but underwhelming cooked only medium by default with no option to customize. However, the fries were next level. Crisp, seasoned, and so flavorful they didn't need ketchup which had a strange taste anyway. Overall, the views are absolutely breathtaking especially at golden hour. The city of Eastvale has always been a "master planned" community. Very cookie cutter, homogenized subdivisions with little character and power drunk HOA presidents, you know the type. And the same can be said for the dining choices: bland, season-less, boring. But not June's! The food was succulent. We had the salmon and the short ribs. The short ribs are an absolute must and the salmon is no slacker either. Very well seasoned and proportioned. Best broccolini I've ever had and the Caesar's salad was good as well. Bartender was not friendly and we saw the server once during our entire time , we were there for maybe 2 hours? Great to see a rooftop bar outside of LA and OC! Located on top of the Staybridge Suites. It's such a beautiful place, especially near sunset. Food was not that great and a bit pricy. They also seem to change their menu often since the items I was eyeing on from recent menus were not available when I went. Risotto - with pine nuts and spinach. Not good. It was a bad consistency, salty, overwhelmingly herby, and more sauce than rice. Also presented poorly on a flat plate making it real unappetizing from the start. It reminds me of a green porridge ZA'ATAR popcorn chicken- juicy with light batter, flavorful and herby with a good ranch and jam dipping sauce. A bit salty though, and more and more salty as I tried finishing it Overall docked a star because food was not delicious and I'm going to assume everything else on the menu will be heavily seasoned/salty too. Our server, Josh, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and attentive the whole evening. He recommend our appetizer and my entree. The crispy potatoes were delicious, who doesn't love potatoes!? But the Primavera pasta dish was the highlight. The pasta, herbs, and veggies tossed in that creamy lemon sauce was delish! Easily one of the most aesthetic dinner spots in Eastvale making it the perfect spot for a date night or a gathering with friends. First off, the service was genuinely exceptional. Everyone we interacted with from the host to our server to the owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. We ordered a bit of everything. The drinks here are a must!! I highly recommend the Honeymooner and Black Dog, both were 10/10. As for food, I'd reorder the steak & frites, spicy pomodoro, and the za'atar popcorn chicken. Special shoutout to the fries, they were very crunchy. No need to order them separately if you're getting the burger or steak, as those come with a generous portion. Things I think were skippable: short rib & burger as nothing really stood out for me for those dishes Pro tip: try to come during sunset for the best ambiance, and be sure to make a reservation as it was packed by 7 PM on a Saturday! read more
