The portions are huge too! We were all stuffed and still had plenty left over to take home for lunch the next day. No skimping here--generous servings that actually feel like a great value. The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu inside and out. They made great recommendations and checked on us at just the right times without being intrusive. The whole team made us feel welcome and taken care of. On Wednesday, July 15, I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 2:45 p.m. and was provided with the lunch menu. Prior to 3:00 p.m., I ordered a ham sandwich from the lunch menu. However, the waiter did not submit my order to the kitchen until 3:06 p.m. The cook subsequently refused to prepare the ham sandwich because the order was entered after the lunch cutoff time. I then spoke with the manager, Brian, who stated that he could not require the cook to prepare the sandwich. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, Brian argued with me, belittled me in front of other patrons, and repeatedly emphasized that he had been doing his job for over 30 years. I found his conduct to be unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary. The delay in submitting my order was entirely beyond my control, as I placed my order before the lunch service ended. Instead of focusing on finding a reasonable solution, Brian chose to degrade me publicly. I also felt that I was treated differently because I am a Black man. While I cannot know his intent, the manner in which I was addressed and treated left me feeling discriminated against and deeply disrespected. I am extremely disappointed by this experience. Went during a midday FIFA game day. Ordered the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends, Chimichurri Steak, and Big Shot Burger. Burnt Ends were the best part of everything. They are made to perfection, juicy, savory , and they melt in your mouth. They are incredible with the fries. For drinks we got Watermelon Margarita and Dutch Mint Cooler. Both drinks were super refreshing. The atmosphere was great in the patio. Every was having a fun time while watching the game and we were super well attended. The theme of this restaurant is country western with lots of light strands, music and TVs in the sports bar area. The food came out super quick and our waiter was great. For both food and drink the portions were HUGE. The hawaiian cocktail was flavorful and fairly strong. The patty melt had two spiced chuck roast patties that would float your boat if you like more flavor in your burger but was not my cup of tea. The curly fries were awesome too. Stopped here before a concert downtown. The place is humongous! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat on the patio this evening. SERVICE: They had a long line out front so we were a little worried about getting in, but they sat us within 15 minutes (YAY 5 stars). Service was good and they were attentive, but almost too much?!? It seemed as though everyone that walked by was asking us for order, or if we needed more drinks, and that gets confusing when you already said yes to another server (maybe assign the table to just one person?) Otherwise, all of them were nice! FOOD: Everything we ordered looked fabulous and tasted great. Only issue was I asked for no cheese because if dairy allergy and they still brought my food with cheese - they fixed it on the spot so not complaining. Huge outdoor seating. Half the seats inside are high seats. All seats are hard. White confetti on the ground. Music is rock music and this space is loud. AC works great and it is cold in here. Drinks are HUGE. Everything is huge! Shareable for sure. House made croutons. I ordered "the crusty Sean" - the fish was excellent but the shrimp were a different batter - likely pre battered - the shrimp was hard and overcooked. I wish it had the same batter. Malt vinegar would have been great but I didn't know they had it until my fish was gone. I do not like that the tables are not dedicated to any server, 4 people offered to get my drink order and no one would bring me a yo go. I hated the blue cheese dressing. My Wish's - other sides should be op the side list like, steamed veggies, cheese garlic bread. Adding garlic to fried shouldn't be $2.95. Hacks - get lunch because it is expensive here. Went in like Captain America... Walked out like Fat Thor. This is OFFICIALLY my favorite place! All I can say is come on "E". The drinks and food is huge. We ordered the Bavarian pretzel, pulled pork mac & cheese, and the Bud's Texas chili cheese hot dog (my favorite so far). I will have food for the next couple days. Everything had so much flavor. Finished off with the Apple Cobbler and Cookie and Ice Cream. The service is impeccable! Everyone came to check on us. I love that. My family and I stopped by here for dinner before we explored the Festival of Lights. They've decorated the inside with lots of holiday lights so it has a very fun and festive vibe. The menu is pretty huge, and so are the portions! I'm so glad our server gave us the heads up that the portions are generous. Drinks come in HUGE mugs, so if you order them, be prepared to hit the restroom frequently. The 4 of us ordered 2 entrees and 1 appetizer and we still brought leftovers home! We ordered: *Fiery BBQ Mac & Cheese - very rich and cheesy. But not fiery like I thought it was supposed to be. *BBQ Chicken Pizza - Good, but not a fan of the olives on the pizza. *Baja Chicken Sandwich W/ Curly Fries - menu indicated it was a spicy dish, but I didn't taste the heat. We absolutely love this place. We come here multiple times a year and every time the food is delicious, the service is friendly and they are very fast and efficient. Parking was easy, they have a lot and we were able to park near the entrance which was nice. There was 6 of us and we waited around 10min before we were seated. I always like going here during the holidays to see the Christmas lights they put up. I ordered the cousin Luigi's smashed burger which came with a tomato sauce which was really tasty. We also added grilled onions. It also came with parmesan toast as the buns. It was BOMB! we split it for I think $3.50 extra on top of the burger being around $20. Great service and a dog-friendly patio! What more can I say? Visiting from AZ, but originally from Riverside County and this was always a fun place to eat. Great sandwiches and a lot more to select from off the menu. I was in the mood for hot pastrami and to my surprise, this was something not on the menu (why???), but they took a Reuben and made it happen. Servings are a bit on the larger side, but small lunch options are also on the menu. This is a very casual place that is perfect for small or large parties. I asked for the steak medium, but it came out very rare, so I had to send it back. The vegetables were also cold and not steamed, so those went back as well. The kitchen fixed everything, and the return time wasn't too bad. We also ordered the chicken with vegetables and onion rings, the onion rings were super good. Portion sizes are huge. Steak tips over mashed potatoes, added grilled onions and the dish was great. Steak wasn't hard to chew, the server doesn't ask how you prefer them to be cooked but it's not a deal breaker. What I did LOVE was their baked bbq beans. That's how you do bbq beans people, with meat mixed in (sausages), corn, and just a hint but not too much sweetness to it. We sat outside, where there is plenty of room for larger groups. Inside is cutely decorated and has a pay to play dj jukebox. Bar is inside and is a great restaurant for families and big groups. Stopped by Heros in Riverside and had a really good experience! I ordered a burger with candied bacon, onion rings, lettuce and tomatoes, it was so delicious!!!! The burger was medium, juicy, cooked just right and packed with flavor. The onion rings were super crispy on the outside and had the perfect crunch. However, I prefer the fries. The fries are crispy, meaty and super delicious. Portions are big! The Watermelon lemonade was fresh and refreshing. The glass it comes in is really really really big! So have your thirst ready! The atmosphere was fun and laidback. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. Over all a solid spot if your looking for good comfort food, big menu and a chill place to eat. A large group of us went here recently. It was my first time there. I ordered the salmon berry salad. It had a large piece of salmon on it which tasted very good. It was a bit too much dressing for my taste, but that was my bad for not asking to have it on the side. My bf had the queso dip. He ate every bit of it. Everyone's food looked great. I want to return to get the nachos. They were piled high on the plate. As the group expanded, they moved us to the larger patio. The service was terrific. Plenty of food! Come hungry! Good food, but portions are big! There will be many servers asking if you need anything. Great job on checking in on tables! Entire rooms are filled with laughter, families or groups having a good time. I would say loud enough to know that but quiet enough to not have to talk over your own group. There is seating inside and out for your needs. The bars also have plenty of space. The drink cups are tall and prepared for giants. This place is good for a good time and good food. Would come again. I will leave 4 stars due to parking. Parking is not easy to understand. If you find a space out front, great job. However, the signs from the surrounding areas are warnings of when not to park. I only worried if I misread one and my car wouldn't be there when I returned. First time visiting and I might give them a second chance and just choose different menu items- there are LOTS to choose from! We ordered the chili nachos to start and share with the table. Basically it was a mountain high plate of tortilla chips with very minimal toppings and topped with some guacamole and large amount of sour cream. I wish we knew we were basically ordering $20+ plate of plain chips- we would have passed and just ordered entrees. The pulled pork sandwich was huge and definitely big enough to share. Although the menu states they charge for splitting sandwiches, which I thought was odd. It was good, pretty overfilled so plenty for leftovers. I'd probably ask for the coleslaw on the side tho so sandwich doesn't get cold and soggy. I didn't like that we did not have a specific server. We were given items by 3 or 4 servers and after food was dropped off, nobody came back to check on how everything came out or if we needed anything- which we did, but had to wait quite some time before we could flag anyone down. We tried the Jay Bird chicken sand with potato salad and a side salad. Wow, A lot of food for two. You can split any sand for a small fee, which comes with a 2nd side; great deal! The chicken sand was so good; avocado, bacon, tomatoes, super fresh. The potato salad is always good too. Our side salad came as a very large portion, easily for two. We had great service. A Fun Spot in Downtown Riverside With Amazing Food! This was my second time visiting Heroes, and I'm officially a fan. The first time I came, the service was great and the vibe was super chill since it wasn't too busy. The food was already really good, and it felt like the perfect place to hang out with friends and watch a football game. But my second visit? Absolutely delicious. They made me one of the best pizzas I've ever had -- definitely in my top 10. I don't know who was in the kitchen that night, but the pizza was truly perfection. My friend ordered a pineapple cheese pizza, and whoever made that one too deserves major props! The place itself is super cool. They have a big bar area, tons of space, and everything is really clean. The staff is friendly and they seat you quickly, even when it gets busy. I also love that they make their food from their own deli -- you can taste the freshness. Plus, the different seating areas are a huge bonus: they've got a restaurant section, a bar section, and a nice outdoor patio with a bunch of TVs. It's such a great spot to eat, drink, watch sports, and hang out. The food here is consistently delicious, and it's definitely become one of my favorites in Riverside. read more

I was invite to Hero's for a business luncheon a week ago. The table shared a huge platter of excellent nachos and a plate of fried Calamari that was also delicious. For my lunch I thoroughly enjoyed a Carolina bbq pulled pork sandwich. The sports bar atmosphere is a little noisy for my tired old hearing but the experience was most enjoyable. I just wanna say this is not the kind of restaurant a person that's into organic full healthy foods. This is a place for gluttony straight up gluttony I went with someone and believe it or not. My brain thought the safest thing I could get my hands on was a half of a ham sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayo turned out. I threw up twice after eating this sandwich and I did not even eat the whole sandwich I ate half of a half of ham sandwich and had to throw up two times and it took nearly 2 days to get away from the uncomfortable nauseated feeling I had a Colonic performed to rid myself of ick now for a person that enjoys this food you will have fun choosing from the 1001 items they have on their menu. I met my friend here for lunch on Thursday 11/20/25. We were able to get a table inside after waiting approximately 5 minutes. Our server immediately greeted us and ask what we wanted to drink. I've ate at Heroes before and remembered their portions of food are large. My friend and I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta for $32.45. This entree is enough to eat for the next 2 days. We were surprised our food arrived within 10 minutes since ordering. The Cajun Shrimp Pasta comes with 4 pieces of cheese bread which is very good. Don't eat all the bread though or you'll get full quickly. The staff are checking on you quite often to see if need anything. Overall the experience was great. Had time to kill before my daughters dance recital so slipped over to Heroes to kill time. And it was fantastic! I was there for brunch had the avocado toast and wow the portions and the taste! Highly recommend! Had a Cucumber My Ace cocktail also off the charts. Staff was super friendly everyone I encountered asked if I needed anything.
