I like the vibe here and the workers are all nice. They have different seating sections inside and outside. I enjoyed their variety of beers and the different food items they had. I got the oriental avenue nachos and they were delicious! Tasted a bit like Poke with wonton chips. I think what would make this dish even better is having the wonton chips bigger so you can grab the food. The chips it has are thin strips like the type you'd find in an oriental salad or soup.
Dropped in to try out Escape's craft beers and find a cool place to hang. I ordered the Sounds of Summer sour ale and it's very drinkable. I'd say even those who aren't super into sours would enjoy it! Perfect for this hot hot summer day. It has a refreshing quality and clean finish. I'm going to try out some of their food items on the next visit but for the atmosphere and the one beer I've had so far, I give them a solid 5. It's big inside and there's lots of seating options. It's clean and it passes my restroom test too! Funny restrooms as they have a joint facility where there are doors to the stalls and everyone shares the sinks. Works great and the stalls and sink area was super clean. That's a plus in a brewery as I often find brewery restrooms to be gross - which gives me pause on their cleanliness and drinking their beers, but not here. You queue up to a counter to order and the staff was prompt and friendly. So far, no one has dropped by my table to see if they could offer me anything else - that's my only ding. But still a 5. Will report back on my next visit, which I'm looking forward to! Update... I stuck around! Grabbed a ECB (light beer) and a NY style pepperoni pizza. The ECB was fine - as expected. Prob should have ordered something else but it was easy to drink and went well with the pizza. The pizza was BETTER than expected! After a few tried at breweries I've come to get use to mediocre pizza, but I really loved this pepperoni pizza! Thin crust but not too thin. Just the right amount of sauce. Came out piping hot!! Just the way I like it! And the crust was perfect! Mmmm. And the pepperoni rocked too. I'm def confirming my original 5 rating and will be back again!
Came for a fun comedy event that they were hosting, and enjoyed the food and drinks! I like that they have different vendors come in for food- we enjoyed a super yummy pizza. The drink menu and variety was also really unique, and as a cider drinker, I really enjoyed my blueberry lemonade seltzer.
Parking: Decent amount available! It's located near plazas with various other shops. There's also a good amount of street parking available. Ambience: It's a very large and spacious spot. There are tables, a swinging bench, and cornhole games outside on the patio. Aside from the main room that has plenty of seating, there's also a side room that has a few arcade and board games. It's nicely decorated with creative artwork and various plants. Overall, great place with ample accommodations and activities. Service: Standard, no complaints! Taste: We got the corn fritters, Paradise Loaded Fries, and a vegetarian pizza, all of which were quite tasty. Unfortunately, I don't drink, so I can't comment on the taste of the alcohol here. I know, I know. Why did I write this review about a brewery then? Sober friends can hang out too :')
Delicious Detroit style pizza and a cool interior. Nice hangout spot for bigger groups and dog friendly. You order drinks and food at the counter and you pick them up when it's ready. They have house brand sodas FYI if you're not interested in any of the wheat libations. The burgers are okay, pretty standard bar burgers and it was like they used frozen meat. Maybe wouldn't recommend that item so much.
First off, I will say beware, because there are two different locations, right near each other. One serves full food - pizza, burgers, etc. and the other just has beers (and thankfully capri suns for the kiddos), and will sometimes have a food vendor. We learned this the hard way last night. . Someone suggested we try it out since we were in the area, love a good beer, and it's family friendly. We mistakenly went to the location without food, but luckily had a taco vendor set up, so we were still able to grab some tacos, nachos, and a quesadilla for the kids. It still turned out to be great tho. The staff were all friendly and helpful, it had some cool, funky, eclectic decor, and we really lucked out because it wasn't super busy, and they had a fun band playing. I grabbed a flight and thoroughly enjoyed it! I decided to try a variety of what they had to offer - I went with a hazy IPA, a sour, a blonde and a golden stout. The Hubs tried a juicy hazy (which I also tried) - all were really great! I especially enjoyed the stout and had to immediately go back for a full size one. There were two different main rooms and we stayed in the first one since the band was kind of loud for our smaller kiddos. The second room had some cool games and things tho, which will definitely be a plus to keep the kids entertained for next time we're there. If I had one small complaint, it'd be that there was only one bathroom, and it's shared with men and women, so I did have to do some minor "clean up" each time I went in. Not really really much they could do about that tho, just the other patrons.
Loved this place- ambience is very casual and cool! They have an arcade room to the side/ out door seating. Love this place! They have two locations definitely visiting the other location soon- did I mention hubby and I loved their beer is deliciouuuuuuuus! GooooOoOo!
Fun spot in Redlands with surprising vegan options! A friend recommended we check it out as a place to get vegan food. The restaurant has an interesting vacation-like theme with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I got the vegan pizza and Brussel sprouts and y friends got a double decker impossible burger, fancy toast and salad. There were also a fair amount of non-alcoholic drinks. Definitely coming back!
Nice spot! Place is huge with open seating and fans help curb the summer heat. Beers are nice - we always get the flights. They don't serve food at this location but you can order via door dash / Uber eats and have it delivered if you want. Otherwise they sell chips/snacks. Our favorite is the vintage pinball and arcade games. They have a large stage - prob for live performances.
Escape Craft Brewery is a great spot with a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of space to hang out. It is lively without feeling overwhelming, making it a solid place to catch up with friends. They have a good variety of craft beers to choose from. I tried the drunken forager pizza and it was a great pick. Service was friendly and efficient, and overall it felt like a welcoming place to spend some time. Parking was convenient, right in front. read more

Dropped in to try out Escape's craft beers and find a cool place to hang. I ordered the Sounds of Summer sour ale and it's very drinkable. The food was amazing the breadsticks were very good so was the pizza the staff was very friendly had some good recommendations on the flights and gave us some samples to try. the ambiance was very cool very cozy and dog friendly which is a plus for me overall great experience would recommend ! read more

One of my favorite places without a doubt. The pizza is delicious and the variety of beers is perfect for all tastes. The service was very fast, the pizza was ready in minutes. It is a very comfortable place to spend a date with your partner, friends or family. read more

We were so indecisive this evening because we usually like to stay in for New Years Eve. Other breweries were closed this evening and I am so grateful we came across this one!!! We all had so much fun tonight! If you're a dog lover, you'd love coming here! There are two very obedient and friendly German Shepards who roam around the whole brewery. I saw a lot of patrons with their dogs as well. It's baby friendly too :) We ordered a flight of 6 beers for ~$11 and a beer for about $6. I didn't like every single one but they weren't too bad. But we experienced very friendly service! One of the employees came to each table and told us they were playing a trivia game so we decided to check it out. We ended up playing and won third place out of 8/9 teams! We won a $10 gift certificate to come back! Cool! My friend accidentally spilled water on me because we got too excited and competitive, and employees here are quick!! One of them ran to wipe it all down! I had such a fun time. I really didn't expect to come out tonight. We were able to play arcade games as well! You won't find any difficulty with parking! Out of all breweries I've been to, I definitely 1000% recommend this place. You will not regret it! read more
Stopped by here due to good reviews on Yelp and wanted to try their draft beers. When we got there around 5:30pm on a Saturday, the parking lot was full. We got lucky with parking at their lot. Their menu is clearly marked with what's vegan and what's gluten free. Some menu items can be modified to vegan. The cashier told me that both burgers on the menu can be veganized and the impossible patty is seasoned . I ordered the Escape burger with an impossible patty (+$3) and vegan cheese (+$2) which came out to be $22 and a side of fries instead of salad. On the menu, Escape Burger says it comes with A potato bun, juicy double patty, American cheese caramelized onion, lettuce, tomato, house made pickle. The burger came out to only one patty and they put a unknown sauce on it when though it was not listed in the menu. I unfortunately had to bring it back to the kitchen and ask what the sauce they put in it was. The staff came back and told me that it was some Cesar dressing and it is made with dairy and eggs. Had to tell them I'm allergic to dairy and eggs so they could remake it for me because the employee who I was speaking to seemed so nervous and didn't look like he wanted to bring it back to the staff . The burger was so bland and did not taste seasoned. They should've marked on the menu if the kitchen staff are going to put sauce in the burgers. Fries were good though. My non vegan girlfriend had their dinosaur nuggets and fries on the kids menu because she wasn't that hungry and thought they were okay. We liked the beers that we got Odelay (Mexican Lager with citrus) $6.50 and Swimmers Ear $7 which is a Lager from Brouwerij West. The beers are a good size 16oz and the pricing is very good. Next time I'm here I'll try other beers from their selection and I'll try their pizzas. Said there's a vegan pepperoni option that's listed on the menu. I love that they have treats and food on the menu for dogs. They got 5 gender neutral restrooms with a shared wash area. They got an outdoor and indoor seating area. read more

I don't like beer, but I'll definitely come back to this place if I find myself in this area again. Hubby and I were visiting a friend who lives in this area and she brought us here because it's one of her fav places to come to! The environment is so chill here! Everything is VERY friendly, there's awesome music playing, INCLUDING live music, people can bring their dogs here, and you can even bring outside food into this establishment! The beers are really refreshing as well! We got a flight and my fav one was the one that tastes like coffee :) read more

Great place to grab a beer and hang out with friends. It's a very casual atmosphere, and family-friendly too! It's not weird at all to bring a baby or kids, and there's even a little play area with toys for kids. There's games for adults, too. We went in a group of 6 and got a couple taster flights, with 6 tasters on each plate. We just passed them all around and basically all got to try 12 different types of beer. They sell a few snacks, but the great thing about this place is you can bring your own food in! Very common to see people with a box of pizza or something to share. read more

Honest, non-jaded Redlands local review. Here's the lowdown on Esacpe's new downtown location. Visited 7/3/2021 for lunch to try their new location and new food venture. It was severely underwhelming. The location is nice. Very open and lots space and seating. You get the vibe they are going for. However after you've taken in the visual aspects the hype train ends there. The beer selection is way lacking, of Escape's tap list only a handful of the beers on tap actual their own. The other beers on tap are guest taps(other breweries) . Now while this isn't uncommon, usually the location brewery has a lot more variety and less guest tap options. The idea having a good new location is to sell "your" beer not other peoples beer. To put this inpersepctive, another newly opened Redland's brewery has 24 beers on tap, all their own. Now on to the food, this part I was really excited for but left broken hearted in the end. The prices seemed high so I was expecting some higher quality..... I should have known better. Went to get a Yo Adrian Detroit pizza only to be told they were out of sausage and mushroom. How do you run out of pizza topping ingredients on a Saturday afternoon? Thats restaurant management 101. I settled for just a Pepperoni Detroit pizza. When I received it, it looked great... but looks are decieving. What I got was a pizza with red sauce with no character, a cheese blend that was bland as all hell and very very undercooked pepperoni. The only thing this pizza had going for was the dough. Yet again another disappointment. Clearly they need some help. This is a local place for those who like to only stay local. Its great concept that is very poorly executed. At least the bar is set low so that should someone else try to replicate this idea they may have no trouble at all competing. read more
The new downtown location is AWESOME! If you're looking for a cool place to grab some delicious brews, great food, and play some games, this is the place to be. Five stars for their great variety of beer and house brewed sodas. Five stars for their fresh menu. Five stars for the gorgeous ambiance that is open, spacious, fun, and welcoming. Escape makes the best beer in Redlands. I apologizing advance for those who are fans of the "other" Redlands breweries. They make consistently good beer their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The brewery is kid friendly and has good food (food trucks/ vendors). They are building a new brewery with a restaurant in the packing house district and it's going to take Escape from 5 stars to 10! Look no further, you want to find a great local brewery with a fun and welcoming atmosphere? Escape is your place. read more
Great space, some nice IPAs, and a solid burger, but avoid the Spaniard pizza at all costs. Unless you like bad sloppy joes. It was supposed to be a soy chorizo, but it was like no chorizo I've ever eaten, Spanish or Mexican. Truly awful. Huge, huge miss. Almost dropped it to three stars, but it held on. Barely. read more

No a/c, but they have some pretty 'cool' fans and even colder brews.

You can bring your own food or have food delivered. They have some snacks available for purchase as well.

Yes, Sandra they are extremely pet friendly. One of the times I've been there they were having a pet adoption event in the back.
Any Hefe's on tap?
They have some that are similar. They have a few lighter beer options too. They have one called Redlands nights that is like an orange wheat, like Hangar 24.
Do you allow private events?
I think they offer them in the back room, you gotta talk to the owners. They're usually there.
