Overall, great customer service.. food was great minus my toast being overly toasted more like BLACK our server made the correction and made sure it was up to my expectations. The second round of toast was perfect . Food was decent my home fries were a little undercooked In some parts and the rest was alright and some parts overly fried .. I don't know who was cooking in the kitchen but pay attention so the food quality is consistent. I just came from calling in my lunch order. It was an egg salad sandwich on a croissant with a soda. WHY did it cost me $20+ change for that order?? The drink alone was $5.95 for a reg soda. I understand inflation is everywhere, but that was for 1 sandwich! And then they failed to include the fries, so I was forced to wait for that. To shorten time, I asked for a fruit cup instead. Ambiance was your typical "greasy spoon" diner. I won't be going back because the prices are not worth everything else. Today's pancake special was good. $9.95 for one pancake, 2 eggs, 2 bacon or 1 sausage. Coffee was extra. The pancake had something special in it. Not sure what it was, but it's not like any other I've had in recent memory. I had the pancake special at 12:30 pm for lunch. I ordered two eggs over medium and bacon well-done. The eggs and the bacon could have gone another 30 secs, but some people are pickier than I about slightly burnt food. The waitresses were attentive enough, checking on me a few times. I sat near the front of the restaurant where I could look outside and watch the traffic. The place has a 50's vibe. Molly's is one of handful places in downtown San Bernardino to get a decent meal. I love its route 66 diner motif decorations. Very charming. Its team provides excellent services for a small diner/Cafe. I have had omelettes, burgers and sandwiches at Molly's. I was never disappointed. The hobo omelette I had today comes with hash browns and a biscuit with gravy, very satisfying. Our food arrived promptly after ordering. Our waitress came back multiple times to refill our drinks. The atmosphere is casual and homey. Be aware it is a small place so come early if you can. If you are by yourself, you can usually find a seat on the lunch counter. read more

SO GLAD I DID. MOLLY'S is quaint and deserves being called a cafe. First of all, the service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Secondly the food is delicious and plentiful. Today was my second time eating here. While Dennys and IHOP are ok, they can't give the personal attention that Molly's staff pervid. The potatoes were burnt and so hard. I'm even surprised about the portion of the egg serving. It looks like 1 egg. So far the service was pretty fast. French fries are bland. I also got biscuits and gravy and they are nothing special but do have flavor it got pretty busy towards the middle of us eating. The chilaquiles are ok but a bit soggy. The environment is calm a lot of hustle and bustle. The beans are home made. I probably won't be back it wasn't bad just not for me and the place smelled like weed which I usually don't mind but for some reason it bothered me today.
