I recently ordered a BLTA for pickup from Molly's Cafe. The fries were absolutely delicious and were definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the sandwich itself was disappointing. The avocado was brown and clearly not ripe, which really affected the flavor. It also seemed to be lacking bacon, especially for a BLTA. There just wasn't enough meat to make it feel satisfying. This location was not a great experience; food was not good quality, AC not on or not working, it smelt like a dirty mop, and prices were double what other Mollies are. Overall, great customer service.. food was great minus my toast being overly toasted more like BLACK our server made the correction and made sure it was up to my expectations. The second round of toast was perfect . Food was decent my home fries were a little undercooked In some parts and the rest was alright and some parts overly fried .. I don't know who was cooking in the kitchen but pay attention so the food quality is consistent. Ambiance was your typical "greasy spoon" diner. I won't be going back because the prices are not worth everything else. Not sure what it was, but it's not like any other I've had in recent memory. I had the pancake special at 12:30 pm for lunch. I ordered two eggs over medium and bacon well-done. The eggs and the bacon could have gone another 30 secs, but some people are pickier than I about slightly burnt food. The waitresses were attentive enough, checking on me a few times. I sat near the front of the restaurant where I could look outside and watch the traffic. The place has a 50's vibe. Its team provides excellent services for a small diner/Cafe. I have had omelettes, burgers and sandwiches at Molly's. I was never disappointed. The hobo omelette I had today comes with hash browns and a biscuit with gravy, very satisfying. Our food arrived promptly after ordering. Our waitress came back multiple times to refill our drinks. I've lived in Berdoo for 74 years. I've driven by Molly's for decades. Always planned on stopping, never did, until last week. Had business across the street, so I decided to stop and eat. SO GLAD I DID. MOLLY'S is quaint and deserves being called a cafe. First of all, the service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Secondly the food is delicious and plentiful. Today was my second time eating here. While Dennys and IHOP are ok, they can't give the personal attention that Molly's staff pervid. It has been about 5 years since my last visit and the food is even better than I remember. I had the huevos a la mexicana with toast instead of tortillas and ohhhh my! The chilaquiles are ok but a bit soggy. The environment is calm a lot of hustle and bustle. The beans are home made.
