Service was excellent! We came here after a LONG night and the food was so good!!! The decor was so cool and it was a nice "hole in the wall" type of home style restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone in the area! I had the eggs Benedict and it was SO good!

Molly's Café- Retro Charm, Pricey Plates Stopped by Molly's Café for breakfast, and while the retro vibe and service were solid, the food left me mixed. Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast: Came with hash, two eggs, and biscuits with gravy. The eggs and hash were straightforward -- nothing wrong, but nothing standout. For the price, I expected three eggs (many places offer that for less). The chicken fried steak was decent but a bit dry and thin. Gravy: This is where I was thrown off. Flavor was okay, but the texture was oily and odd, with a color that didn't look right. Maybe it was homemade with sausage fat left in, but it didn't sit well with me. Ambiance: Classic retro diner feel with old-school charm. Comfortable and nostalgic. Service: Great. Staff were attentive and kind, which made the experience better. Overall, Molly's Café has a nice atmosphere and friendly service, but the food and pricing didn't win me over. I might revisit to explore the menu further, but I'm not rushing back anytime soon.

Local San Bernardino diner on Route 66. Exterior does not seem much. Interior is nostalgic and quaint. I ordered shrimp taco plate which was okay. Services are very good. Think best dishes here be breakfast types. Recommend for environment, service, and American comfort food and breakfast. Hosts and wait staff everyone was friendly and prompt.

Came in today for Breakfast mid day more like brunch . This local diner is in downtown.. street parking but limited . Was warmly greeted and welcomed in to sit anywhere there was an open space. Overall, great customer service.. food was great minus my toast being overly toasted more like BLACK our server made the correction and made sure it was up to my expectations. The second round of toast was perfect . Food was decent my home fries were a little undercooked In some parts and the rest was alright and some parts overly fried .. I don't know who was cooking in the kitchen but pay attention so the food quality is consistent. Food was average .. but great customer service I don't know but most likely won't be eating here again .. not unless they fix all those issues in the kitchen .

Environment is great. Clean seating, customer service is great as well. Alondra is welcoming and treats you like family! The cook Tonio came out to see how everything was going. Food is great, great portions great flavor! A must try!

The front window gets painted often. The owner just paints over the old paint.

Ask the Community - Molly's Cafe

Is it open for dine in?

Yes

Is this the same Molly's Cafe owners that used to have a Molly's cafe in Ontario on Euclid?

From the look of the menu and decor, it looks like it. I'm curious myself.

I visited on 3/29/26 around 2 PM for lunch with my daughter and fiancé before heading to Knott's. As I mentioned, the food itself was excellent. The issue arose when we received the bill. My fiancé ordered a burrito and requested to add chorizo, fully expecting to pay the extra charge. However, when the burrito came out, it did not include chorizo. I ordered a combination plate, which offers either two items for $22 or three items for $27. I chose the two-item option and didn't think much of it until the bill arrived. When we reviewed the bill, we noticed that instead of charging for the combination plate, they charged us for two separate full meals (taquitos and enchiladas). On top of that, they also charged us for the added chorizo that we never received. We brought up the chorizo, and they did remove that charge. However, that prompted us to take a closer look at the rest of the receipt. That's when we realized we had been overcharged for the combination plate. When I brought this to the attention of a waitress (who, I should note, was not our original server), she told me they don't have a combination plate on the menu and quickly walked away. We waited for someone to return, but no one did. Since we had already paid and had somewhere to be, we decided to leave. Afterward, I checked their website to confirm whether the combination plate was part of the regular menu or possibly a limited or brunch-only item. It is clearly listed as a regular menu item. This means the waitress gave incorrect information, and at no point did our original server mention that the combination plate was unavailable. Instead, he allowed me to order it and then charged us incorrectly. Because of this lack of honesty and transparency, I'm giving this place a 2-star rating. I strongly encourage anyone dining here to double-check their receipt, as after reading other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue at this location.

It was kind of fast and came to see how we were doing every few minutes. The bad experience starts with the food, first of all the price is very expensive compared to the quality of the food, about $30 for two tacos not mention that one taco had only four little shrimps, my wife got the flautas and as soon as she got them, we noticed there were mosquitoes on the food so we returned the plate We ended up eating at a different time because of this problem we still got charged for it, nothing special on the Michelada, which is 18 bucks for only one beer and clamato At the end, we order a dessert of fried ice cream and unfortunately, another bad thing with this food a pubic hair at the bottom of the fried ice cream. It was very nasty. I decided not to complain anymore, but instead to leave a review, this is the first and last time that I'm coming to this place Another thing to point out is the bathroom is in a horrible condition, they don't take the trash out once the bin is full so there's many things that they really have to work on

I hope that they will make the same update to the patio, it is still the harsh 1,000 watt white bulbs out there, and soooo many of them. I still love coming here but I am incredibly disappointed that it wasn't until after I received the bill that my server told me even though the menu states "all margaritas half priced on Mondays" it does not apply to the one I ordered. A decent server would make a patron aware of this. Also, $21 for a margarita is insane.

First Timer Here…read more Loved the environment as a whole and the service was great. The food was delicious! I ordered the Cali Burrito with no sour cream and light guacamole and I wasn't super hungry, but it hit just right! Mmmmm. The chips were fresh and just the right amount of salty but the salsa was just a little too spicy for me - but my friend loved it and he likes it spicy. The only downside was there was a party happening in another room and apparently due to that, our food took forever to get out. The two small groups that got seated ahead of us had gotten theirs and we waited for a long time. My friend almost just wanted to leave. So maybe next time, find a way to still be able to serve small groups on sync rather than making them wait extra time if possible. But I'd be back for sure. Oh, the mango margarita was not it. It tasted premade and plain. Another table left a full margarita as well so this worried me that this may be something normal? And there is no return on alcohol so we finished most of it because of this and didn't want to waste that money.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.
