I stopped into Alice's Restaurant for a solo breakfast after running morning errands. If you don't already know this place exists, it's easy to miss. The only reason I knew where to go was because I'd recently been here for a BBQ pop‑up in their parking lot. When I pulled in, the lot was completely full, but I managed to snag the last spot, which already told me something good was happening inside. The moment I walked in, the place gave classic homestyle diner vibes... small, cozy, and smelling like someone's grandma was in the back cooking with love. I was told to seat myself, and the staff checked in shortly after. The menu is huge, so it took me a minute to decide, but I went with a Denver omelette done "scramble style." No hesitation from the kitchen, they made it exactly how I asked. It came with home fries and a short stack of pancakes. My food arrived hot and fresh in about 10-15 minutes. One look and I understood why the parking lot was packed. The scramble smelled amazing and had that comforting warmth you only get from a true home‑cooked breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy, hot, and honestly way better than I expected. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and enjoy your morning. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the leftovers home, and even reheated the next day, it still tasted pretty good. Between the friendly staff, the generous portions, and the very fair pricing, I think I've found my new go‑to breakfast spot. I definitely enjoyed my meal.

Enchiladas plate Chicken and steak gravy

Stopped by to this cute little dinner with husband for the first time and let me tell you the food was great! I had an enchilada plate and he had chicken stake and gravy! My husband says it's one of the best chicken stake gravy he's ever had. The service was great and quick the restaurant was super clean. We will be coming back again.

The chicken steak breakfast was amazing. Served with fresh biscuits and gravy. Coffee always pipping hot. Country style potatoes a great side to cater to over easy eggs. A must try here.

My husband's Steak was cooked perfectly & my Ham & Cheese omelette was delicious! Really good biscuits and gravy

A Route 66 style diner with a lot of seating & a big menu. We had breakfast, generous portions on the food. Delicious biscuits & gravy! Waitresses checked on us a lot and made sure we had everything. It's a diner, so depending on how many people are dining, it was loud inside but not to where you couldn't talk. We will definitely be back to try more of their options

I see "French Toast Combo " in down!

The food was delicious, especially the pastrami sandwich with onion rings, which I will definitely be ordering again soon! The service was just as wonderful as the food. When we say SIDE salad, we expected the salad to actually be on the SIDE. Instead, they put the HOT chicken tenders directly on top of the salad, which melted the cheese and completely ruined it. They did offer to replace the salad, but after the attitude I received on the phone, I didn't feel comfortable trusting them to remake my food. What made the situation worse was being told what I should do differently next time when the mistake was on their end. Mistakes happen, but how you handle those mistakes matters. Telling a customer how they should order next time instead of simply taking responsibility is not good customer service. The food may be decent, but the way this situation was handled left a really bad impression.

Our waitress was tentative and on point. She moved quick and was accurate. Today, I tried something new. I ordered the Carne Asada Torta and substituted my French fries for home fries (order them extra crispy). I prefer them extra crispy because they're a little under done for my liking the regular way they cook them. The accidentally added bell pepper and onion to them and the waitress let me know ahead of time. I told her it was ok because I actually like them like that. My torta was good. It's huge! Definitely a meal for 2 people. The bread was soft - it could've been toasted a bit more for me because it wasn't able to support the beans and meat and started falling apart. It comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, beans, mayo, and cheese. The meat was flavorful and even had a nice char and the refried beans were nice and creamy. Even though it was good, it wasn't my favorite. No matter what you order, make sure and get their salsas. They have a green and red and I think it's best to mix them... The ambiance is full of life. There's music playing in the background but it's not too loud. Definitely a cool little spot to dine in.

The day we went (Friday), they also had clam chowder, so we had to get a cup of that, and it comes with a sourdough roll (which was really nicely flavored, and had a nice dense texture). We ended up getting a turkey sandwich, as well as a blueberry scone and a peanut butter cookie (I mean, we had to wait for the sandwich, and the display cases were dangerous). They were very generous with the sandwich filling, the scone was also delicious, as was the soup. The one flop here was the peanut butter cookie. Could have been moister and chewier, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. You order your sandwiches by filling out a simple order form at the back counter. Bathrooms have a code and were clean. There are two single-stalled ones. Parking in the lot in the back. It was pretty easy when we got there.

The interior decor can be described in one word: Dude! There are a handful of tables inside and a bar where beer on tap is served. As a first-timer, the young woman at the register was friendly and helpful in helping me make decisions after being overwhelmed by their large menu. So many choices! I decided on the Acapulco Gold: BBQ chicken breast pieces, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and dressing. It usually comes with onions too, but I asked that ingredient be left out. She guided me to try it on garlic bread, which was a wise choice (thank you), and her finger measurements helped me decide on how big a sandwich I should get. I made it a combo, which came with a bag of chips and a fountain drink. The sandwich was messy but, as is often the case with messy food, it was incredibly delicious! All the flavors melded well together. Every ingredient tasted so fresh, especially the bread. This is THE place to come if you are craving a sandwich! Note: street parking or pay in a nearby lot

But what really made me fall in love with this place are the drinks. In true stoner fashion, there are excellent drink options. Personally, I chose the Strawberry Dragonfruit tea which was very lightly sweetened, a splash of black tea. I could have been more adventurous and added some sprite or whatever the lemon lime stuff is for the bubbles... but another day.
