If you like your beer with a side of aviation fuel and mild emotional turbulence, Hangar 24 is your runway. Tucked right next to a private airport, with a picturesque view of the mountains, this place delivers the full experience: crisp craft brews, the occasional roar of a plane taking off, and just enough chaos to make you feel like you accidentally wandered into Top Gun: Happy Hour Edition. Nothing pairs better with a cold pint than watching a Cessna buzz overhead like it's late for a dogfight. Speaking of dogs; their establishment is furbaby-friendly. Woof!

I've been to this specific location 2 or 3 times to see my boyfriend play with his dad's band Gaba Groove. The staff here is very friendly and they cater to everyone! We're not beer drinkers so we all got frozen lemonade with no alcohol. Sometimes it has flavors and sometimes it didn't. It was very good the multiple times we had it. My boyfriend also got the root beer they make in house which he really enjoyed. One of the times we went, they had people making food right behind the stage which looked amazing!! Overall this place is great with a beautiful view of an airport. Never a dull moment here with the view or the bands they have playing. If you don't have anything to do during your afternoon or evening, stop by here and enjoy yourself!

I really love this place! I've had Hangar 24 beer plenty of times before at bars, but they have a lot of beers at this brewery that I've never seen at other locations. The thing that makes this spot super cool though is that you're located right next to the local airport. Because of that, the spot feels very secluded and isolated from the rest of Redlands. Where else can you enjoy a cold beer on the patio with the absolutely beautiful sunset while seeing small planes take off and land. All of the beers I had were great (I got the sampler and then had 1 or 2 more after that). Also, we ended up meeting the head brewer (he was chillin on the patio with his beer after his shift ended) and he ended up taking our whole group on a tour of the facilities. This was a SUPER cool experience that I really enjoyed. If you're in the area and love beer this place is definitely worth a stop.

Twice in one month is a good sign. This is a nice spot to hang out with friends. The location is great (across from Redlands Airport), indoor/outdoor seating, parking lot but also street parking, and good beer. The brewery has its own food truck - tried the wings and the burger on 12/14/25. On 12/27/25, we tried the corn dawgs. Overall, will be coming back.

I have always been a fan of Hangar 24 especially this location. They have a cool outdoor space and live music depending on the day. It's a fun place to hangout with friends and always good vibes. They have a wide selection of great craft beers. You can't go wrong with their Orange Wheat - it's one of my favorites! Don't know what to get? The bartenders are friendly and always have great recommendations.

Hangar 24 has really grown over the years and still impresses me with their beers. The brewery has expanded but still has that small quaint feeling that it had when starting out. Recently came in and there was a food vendor doing Hawaiian food that was not very good. But the service, beer and atmosphere is still amazing!!

Are they able to fill a growler that wasn't purchased from H24?

Do you allow private events?

We absolutely have done them, it depends on the circumstances.

We bought a stainless steel growler but when we were done with our beer, we found the care instructions (folded paper not a sticker) at the bottom on the growler...that wasn't supposed to be there was it?

On the inside of the container? They all come with the sticker on the bottom (outside) as a reminder for how to wash your awesome new growler. Definitely isn't supposed to be on the inside though!

They don't answer when I call. Does anyone know if they sell food? Their website says they won't have food trucks this weekend

Hi Janette, I'm sorry we were unable to answer your call. We do not sell food and we do not have food trucks either, we are going through some exciting structural updates to bring back food trucks. You are definitely able to bring outside food in.

Is this place kid friendly?

Yes absolutely

Are dogs allowed?

Yes they are, we love having dogs here they just need to be leashed.

Are there any gluten free options? Or cider?

We've dined here many times with our dogs and have always considered it a very dog-friendly establishment--until today. Today (Table 305 I think, approximately 4:20-4:50 p.m.), we were seated with our dogs next to a family with children. At one point, one of the children ran directly across our smaller dog's path, startling him. He barked. He did not growl, lunge, nip, or bite--he simply barked. Immediately afterward, an employee (short, glasses, rides a scooter) approached our table and told us, "That can't happen again." Confused, since there were multiple dogs around the patio barking throughout our meal, we asked what the specific issue was. His only response was, "It can't happen again." I explained that our dog has never bitten, nipped, or growled at anyone, but yes--he does bark occasionally, because he's a dog. A few minutes later, another dog walked past our table. Our dog barked at the passing dog, and the same employee immediately returned and told us, "Your dog has to go." I asked, "He did nothing but bark. What exactly is the problem?" He simply repeated that our dog had to leave. I then said that he seemed to be particularly sensitive to our dog. Surprisingly, he agreed. At that point, my husband, understandably frustrated, said, "Just bring us boxes and our check. We'll leave." The employee responded, "I'm not telling you guys you have to go, but the dog does." My husband asked, "Where exactly are our dogs supposed to go?" The employee replied, "Do you have a car?" My husband responded, "What? Do you expect our dogs to drive themselves back?" I stepped in at that point because our food hadn't even fully arrived yet. I asked the employee if he could please check on the rest of our order so we could leave. A different employee brought the remaining food out a minute later. We weren't even halfway through our meal. We still had two brand-new drinks sitting on the table that we never got to finish. I told my husband to take the dogs outside while I boxed up the food and paid the bill. As I was packing everything up, two separate couples seated behind us--one with a dog and one without--tapped me on the shoulder. One said, "For what it's worth, we heard your dog barking, and it sounded no different than the other dogs out here." The other added, "And did you hear his comment about putting your dog in the car?" If either of you happen to read this review: thank you. It meant a lot to know we weren't the only ones who felt the situation was handled poorly. To the management of Idyllwild Brewpub: I completely understand that, as a dog-friendly establishment, there have to be standards of behavior for dogs. If a dog is aggressive, threatening, biting, lunging, or creating an unsafe environment, absolutely address it. But that was not what happened here. Our dog barked--twice. Once because he was startled by a child running directly in front of him, and once at another passing dog. Both are normal dog behaviors that were no different from what we observed from other dogs on the patio. Being told to remove our dog while we were in the middle of our meal, then being asked if we could leave him in the car, felt unreasonable and frankly inconsistent with the dog-friendly environment we've enjoyed here for years. We've always loved coming to Idyllwild Brewpub, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I sincerely hope management reviews how situations like this are handled in the future, because one employee's approach turned what has always been one of our favorite places in Idyllwild into a very unpleasant experience. Edit: after reading the other 1 star reviews, I am beginning to wonder whether we were being singled out because we were the only Asians there yesterday evening. The employee seemed SO focused on just us. It made no sense to me.

We waitied for approximately ten minutes before were called on my cell phone that our table was ready. As soon as we were seated and handed our menus, a server asked if we were ready to place our order. We told her no, since we were just seated. We did, however, place our beverage order. No sooner than when thatserver left with our drink order, another seever came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We explained that our drink order was just taken, but we some time to look over the menu. Almost as soon as the second server departed our table, our drink order arrived. She then asked if we would like any appetizers, we ordered a half order of the cheese bread. we also placed our entrees order. Half order of cheese bread: $8.45; Pub Fish & Chips: $27.45 California Reuben with Garlic Fires: $21.45 + $2.95 Two Sodas: $@.95 each Pre-Tip Total: $75.36 We boith tried a piece of the cheese bread. Wow! We have not cheese bread such as this version before, and it was absolutely delicious! We ate it plain without dipping it into the accompanying marinara sauce (which I tasted and reminded me of a commercially prepared pedestrian, marinara sauce). This bread instantly has became one of our favorite appetizers to order at a Heroes branded restuarant. Ww barely had time to finish off our first piece of cheese bread when our entrees arrived. My wife's fish and chips looked really inviting to eat. The serving amount of fsih was appropriate and generous for the menu pricing. My wife enjoyed her lightly battered fish which was not greasy and oily to eat. She also devoured her coleslaw which she is very selective of how's it made, and the level of tanginess, which was just right for her. I dove into my California Reuben which swaps out the sauerkraut for coleslaw: all the other traditional ingredients are still used. The sandwich was generously stuffed with meat and coleslaw. Be sure to ask for extra napkins because this sandwich is messy but delicious to eat! The only minor gripe we have was the amount of times out table was approached by a whole slew of staff constantly asking us if we needed anything etc. One to three time during a meal for us is adequate, but it seems like the staff was overcompensating for some previous comments made about several Heroes restaurants having staff who perefer to talk amongst themselcves near the bar than attend to their diners. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and look forward to eating at Heroes and Roscoes restaurants often. Hoping the owners will consider opening in the Murrieta/Temeucla area in the near future!
