I come here pretty much every Tuesday for trivia night, and honestly that's what keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is great--lots of space, cool decor, and it's just an easy place to hang out with friends. The patio is especially nice in the summer evenings if you just want to relax with a drink. That said, the food and service don't really match the vibe. The service is hit or miss, usually leaning toward slow or inattentive, and the food is pretty bland for the price. Because of that, I rarely order anything when I'm there. On a positive note, the bathrooms are always clean, which I definitely appreciate. Visited Hangar again, for Happy Hour, and ordered their tacos (asked for onions and cilantro on the side due to allergy), Mozzarella sticks and Mustang fries. Everything was really good and my favorite taco was the carne asada. The meat was extremely tender and not overly salted, just really good! The Mozzarella sticks were cheesy and had a lovely texture on the outside. The Mustang fries are always a favorite, though I did notice the portions are smaller for these, and the "special sauce" was lacking this time around, so I'll ask for more next time. We enjoyed the crispy texture of the fries. They still have lunch specials and good Happy Hour prices and food/drink options. Well mixed drinks, certain beers and wines are $6. Parking: Easy, open, free lot. It's a chill vibe. The servers are great and relaxed. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, and they were so good--fried extra crispy. This place is amazing. Good food, appetizers, and drinks. The service here is a bit slow but the food is worth waiting for. They have TV's throughout this location where you could watch sporting events. They offer different activities as well on different nights. Fantastic beers, I love that they let you sample the drinks before you commit and that they offer wine as well if you're in the mood for that. This is great place to get together with a big group, there's plenty of space and long tables, it's probably also a vibe for sporting event viewing. I have heard so much about Hangar 24 since it opened and I am so excited to have finally been able to try it! I have to say, standing in line to order was definitely something new for me (particularly at a sit-down restaurant/bar), but it wasn't too bad at all. There were many people still walking around to check on you, clean your table, and place any drink orders if you wanted some, so that was great!! There were plenty of different seating options available and there was even a couch area and games to hang out and play with friends! I got the American Burger with Cajun fries (up charge) and I thought it was one of the best burgers I have ever had! The bun was sooo soft and fluffy and there wasn't an overwhelming amount of veggies on it like some places do! I also ate the ENTIRE thing (which I don't normally do!). I will definitely be telling everyone I know to come here! As a side note, they also have lots of events going on at night and throughout the week! Overall, a bit pricey, but the vibe is fun. The burgers and similar types of food looked good, I definitely wouldn't recommend the pacific rim bowl I got -- it was just over cooked mushy rice with steamed frozen vegetables and dry chicken. The pickle fries were good but for $15, not really worth it in my opinion. If you're coming here for a burger, fries, and beers with friends to hang out with activities, then that's probably the way to go here. I looked at the beer menu, and was intrigued by the lower ABV versions of some of their beers. The young man at the counter said "they didn't deliver those kegs". They had an assortment of other beers on a board, but the guy seemed a little surprised that I might ask about any of them. I asked him about the Alt-bier; "it's brown", says he. Remember, this is not a restaurant that serves beer; this is a "brewery", and these are their beers...that THEY BREW! I tried it, and it was kind of odd. I've had this style before, and it had the requisite bitterness, but this one just tasted a little flat and dishwater-y. The carne asada fries were a might wee, but tasty, and with nice presentation. The one thing that might get me to return is the patio space, where I noticed several people with their dogs. That's nice for me, but I will feel bad - the other dogs seem to get a little downhearted when the meet DJ Super Douglas, and realize that they will never be goodest. read more

The beer is good, the space is nice, and the staff is generally friendly, especially now that dogs are allowed in the patio. They were super sweet to our dog! That said, the staff at the bar is a little dismissive. It does get very busy so I understand that. It doesn't seem very welcoming once I head over to that area. The table staff is amazing though! We walked in, grabbed seating on the patio and were promptly greeted by several staff, It was lively, but still chill. They have menus available at the front entrance, and then you walk up to the bar area to order food and beers. We tried the corn dogs wrapped in bacon and then battered in house and served with honey and jalapeños - they were so good! I wish the bacon had a little more texture to it but we all loved them! The burger with a peach onion jam was different and delicious. We all really enjoyed the sweet and savory flavors together. The cajon fries and tots were both crunchy, hot and winners too. The fish tacos were good. The fish was a little dry on one of the tacos, but the others were good. The salsa they were served with was great and pulled it together nicely! And definitely go with the corn tortillas. We accidentally got flour when ordering, and ended up just asking the server for corn and switched them over - much, much better on the corn! The fennel peach flat bread was also really good; would definitely order it again. And the kid's meals were good too. And, as always, the beers - always good! Our visit was a solid 4-1/2 stars. Located near the fountain by ralphs where the old Italian restaurant once was. There are multiple entry points, but the main one is facing the fountain. Upon entering the queue is to the right. They have paper menus stacked for you grab. There are multiple registers like the Redlands one. Therefore, the line moves quickly. oktoberfest 4/5 - i would get it again. solid beer. bloody mary 4/5 - it was fine.. good..not great patty melt 5/5 - soooo good. I think if they added a side of pickled yellow chiles it would be phenomenal There was plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a stage for what they call "piano duel". They have some TV's in the outdoor patio.. but they are small and you can only see it if you're seated near them. Mediocre food at a premium price. The beer is good, although they are IPA heavy which the amount of breweries doing IPAs it's kind of a bummer. I think the worse part for my review is the service, they want to charge you full service prices when you have to go up and do everything at the counter, but the worse part is we say by the bay door and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. We really wanted to sit outside but it was super chilly and only one heater was out/on (there were a lot off and gathered in a far corner) - weird for peak dinnertime. So we sat inside next to the couch area because trivia was happening in the long section. Waitresses were nice, a bit inexperienced maybe (young) but very responsive to requests for the basics (napkins, silverware, etc.). I had the buffalo chicken flatbread, he got a burger, beers, and a few apps to share. Pretzels w/ cheese sauce were a fav, and the fries. The rest of the food was ok, but kind of cold by the time we got it - maybe because it got busy right around then, kind of bland too and needed like ranch or salt or chili flakes. WAY overpriced, not a good value. Tried for first time. Bad experience began on arrival when we just stood at the entrance, no one from staff speaks first, had to ask if it was seat yourself or??? Waitress outside kind of warned us the ordering system was new, a QR code driven menu. However, the system really needs work. If a sandwich comes with mushrooms and onions, you better like those because there's no way to leave them off. The only other option to order food is to wait in line inside, but I would recommend that if you dare to try this place, because otherwise you cannot customize anything with their absurd ordering system. The beer was very expensive. My flatbread pizza did not have much meat at all. My wife did like the hamburger salad, however, the overall price for the two entrées and one order of fried pickles and two drinks was nearly $100. Not worth it at all based on the incredibly poor service we received and the lack of value in the food. It was so bad that I'm not sure I would ever even try it again. read more

We came on a Sunday and were greeted with some fun piano players. I over heard a guy ask them about the football game that was playing outside. He asked them to play it on the screen. They asked the piano players to end early to let people watch the game on the screen. It was not cool. I didn't come here for football and it was already playing outside. You can't please everyone but don't ask people to leave when the audience is participating and enjoying the already booked entertainment. Not cool.
