I tried this place out for the first time over the weekend and let me just say that the flavor of the shrimp tacos that my husband and I tried was delicious. However, the portion is disappointing. At $5.75 per taco I was expecting a decent amount of shrimp in my tacos, but that is not the case here. I literally counted 4 pieces of small shrimp in one taco, which is ridiculous in my opinion. If it was 4 pieces of some tiger shrimp, which by the way is the large sized shrimp if you don't know shrimp. That would be OK but for the small size shrimp not OK. There was more cabbage & sauce than anything. The ambience was pretty chill , and the interior decoration is overall nice. Cannot speak about the physical location because I ordered delivery. However, I ordered the carne asada fries and the Jamaica. The asada fries were such a disappointment, to say the least. I'm not sure how old the beans are, but they are definitely not fresh and have almost like a burnt taste to them. Fries were BEYOND soggy. I understand it was delivery, but these fries tasted very old. No toppings besides cream. I added the salsa for a little kick. The cheese was almost nonexistent. For $16?!!!! Definitely NOT worth it. The only reason I gave it a two star is because the carne asada itself was ok. I would rate the Jamaica but they forgot to send it. So that answers the question about their service I guess. Was there about 3 weeks ago. As I entered there was only one couple in there. When I approached the cashier he was dry and looked upset. I ordered my food & was looking for a table. I noticed ALL of them were dirty. I assumed they may have been short staffed or they had just finished a rush. I worked the food industry before so I'm aware sometimes the workload may be overwhelming... As I received my food a gentleman walks in, he proceeds to enter the kitchen and by what it seemed like to me is that he's a manager. He cleaned up a bit and asked me and the other couple out we were enjoying the food. I will say the food was good, but the cleanliness of the place could have improved. We used to order here frequently esp thru door dash by delivery and pick up... But the last couple times we tried this place - giving each of those situations the benefit of the doubt - really sucked. The person manning the counter is a sad unhappy woman who is rather rude to certain customers and pretends she doesn't see you standing there in front of her and acts like she's busy. Seriously, how does a place go wrong on a pick up order via door dash when the ordering platform is very specific??!! Unfortunately, our orders not only were lacking in what were ordered, the staff were slow preparing them when door dash specifically stated order pick up ready - I think ours went to someone else, the staff don't care, and that woman - again I mention her coz she sure as heck annoyed the h**l out of me - was rude and totally unprofessional in dealing with customers who do not speak her language of Spanish. She has no customer service or any service recovery knowledge. If the food was great, we might've tolerated her rudeness but sadly there are other places that are actually more authentic with nicer staff. But be very careful, customers who don't speak or prefer not to speak Spanish do not necessarily mean they do not understand what is said and that woman said a whole heck of a lot for someone serving the public. read more

This place has an authentic fast l-food taqueria feel. I got three Birria (slow stewed beef) tacos & one cabeza (beef head meat) and I enjoyed all four of them. Al pastor, buche, lengua, and cabeza. I usually go for the tacos because I like options. The service is welcoming. They are patient and get your food out in a timely manner. I drove by today it's July 14th and they are closed down, if a business doesn't respect its employees then they will leave and they will learn to run a better restaurant this seems MAYBE from another comment that this may be what happened. The story on the WALL was Awesome and I liked going here never got bad food and was always treated nicely by the employees working there. Like getting a soda in a can even. But the air conditioning wasn't on and it's summer so maybe the didn't manage the money they made well or just couldn't stay afloat idk the real reason this place closed but I sure was shocked then I heard about the tariffs going up on tomato's and so it's gonna be hard to keep up on selling food with tomato's in them so no more tomato's on the tacos it will cost now more and no more avocados being that they use these a lot it's maybe closed down for this reason it was a small business.
