Coming all the way from Northern Nevada, my husband and I had one mission while our San Diego trip: find fish tacos. We absolutely lucked out with this place! We walked in on a bustling Friday afternoon and were instantly hit with good energy. The decor is vibrant, fun, and modern--bright colors, beautiful mural-painted walls, and marbled blue floors that have a coastal vibe. The menu had a great variety of both land and sea options, ranging from birria tacos and shrimp cocktails to fresh ceviche. Here is what we down. I ordered one shrimp taco and one fish taco. Husband ordered the fish taco plate, with well-seasoned rice and beans. Our meal hit the SPOT. The fish and shrimp were freshly fried to order in a delicious, crispy batter that wasn't overpowering the seafood. Also, they feature a green salsa packed with chunks of onion and jalapeño, alongside a traditional creamy fish taco sauce. That fish taco sauce is FIRE. It packs a much bigger spicy punch than the watered-down sauces you usually get at most restaurants, and it was delicious! If you are in the area, this is a must-stop. I went to this place because i saw an IG video which made the food look mouthwatering. Worse decision I've made. We ordered fish tacos and queso Birria. The fish tacos were ok, they just needed a sauce and the tortillas need to be better. They were hard almost stale. The Birria was tasteless, dry and had a drop of queso. I come here for the fish tacos. On Wednesdays they have a pretty good special on the tacos. They a pretty tasty especially when they are fresh. I find that when they are busy the food is better because the fish is constantly being fried and not sitting there getting soggy. Inside is very festive and the place is always relatively clean. Service is good and staff have always been friendly. On this particular visit they were not particularly busy so my tacos were not the best I've had from here. I also tried their grilled shrimp taco today and it was good. They did not skimp on the shrimp. If you're in the mood for fish tacos I would recommend this place. read more

My son ordered asada fries omg the fries reminded me of middle school lunch at Raney intermediate I love the memory that the taste brought, for that alone is 5! I ordered a shrimp taco with asada sope i enjoyed it very much. My husband got too fish tacos which were fresh and delicious. It was served with crispy fresh coleslaw slaw mix and a lemon on the side. Ambiance was nice a little routy but ok fifa was on and we had a cold beer. We got there right in time, all tables were full by the time we left and a line was formed. Parking is easy, plenty around this restaurant. They had tables outside, I want to try their guest birria tacos, next time, I will be back. I do recommend getting better menu that visible my husband has bad eyesight and only me y was digital ontop of cooking atea, not ideal. This is my go-to spot for fish tacos. It's pretty close to me so I get takeout here a few times a month. They have lots of other stuff on the menu, but I usually just go for the 6 pack of fish tacos; it's a pretty good deal! The fish is always fried fresh and the box comes with whole grilled spicy peppers. I've tried the shrimp tacos too, they are pretty good but the fish tacos are superior in my opinion. I like the loaded nachos as well. There isn't a ton of protein, but they're generous with the beans and guac. The chips are deep fried and extra crunchy. They are best fresh, and don't reheat well even in the air fryer though, so bring a friend to share. read more

i got their fish tacos with my little and they are easily some of the best I've had. they were super crispy, perfectly cooked, and only $2 on Wednesdays, which is cheap. They load them up with fresh salsa, crema, and a crisp lettuce slaw that ties everything together. You also get unlimited sauce, which is a huge plus. The fish and shrimp were so fresh. The fish was perfectly breaded, and the shrimp had a nice snap. I loved it. The potato tacos were a surprise. I thought I only ordered one but ended up with three. I was like, aww man, I should have paid closer attention. But the potato tacos were so good. I actually liked them even more the next day. On the first day, they had more of a potato-wedge texture; the next day, they were soft and smooth. The seafood cocktail was a miss. It needed a whole lot of everything. Pass on this. Affordable lunch in the Riverside area!! The food here is incredible. However, the area can be a bit ghetto... but that's how you know you're about to get some bomb food. We ordered the taco box which comes with 6 tacos and we ordered it with all og fish. This was probably one of the best fish tacos I've ever had. The fish were fried perfectly and the portion sizes were also huge. We also got the north birria tacos with consume and that was also a great choice. However, the fish tacos were the star of the show. I also love how they also provide pickled onions as well. It's a pretty chill vibe inside and I like how they made it pretty colorful inside. Regardless, it's still a hole in a wall but nothing to complain. One thing I would say was that the water cups were super small. I really enjoyed this place--I've been twice now. The first time, I would've given it a solid 5/5. I got a torta and some tacos, and everything was perfect. Even my girlfriend, who's a connoisseur of Mexican food (she's from Guadalajara), really enjoyed it. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was super cool--kind of a mix between a sports bar and a Mexican spot. However, I went back a second time and ordered the same torta along with some quesadillas and tacos, and unfortunately, it wasn't the same quality as my first visit. It might have been because I got takeout, but it just didn't hit the same. I'll definitely be going back again to give it another try, though. As an LA native, Taco Nazo is one of few names that are answered when asked about fish tacos. I work in Riverside and there has been talks about Miches De La Baja. I was highly impressed and satisfied! A lowkey spot in the UCR territory. I work minutes away and coworkers haves raved about this spot. Finally had some free time to check it out and was very impressed. For the price and value of the food and beers, I might actually put it up there as a top contender in the fish tacos game!
