Killer Queens was a fun stop during the Taste of Riverside tour last week. We tried the pizza flatbreads and wings, and both were really good. There was also a wide variety of drinks to choose from, which made it easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. The servers were attentive, and the space itself was large enough to comfortably accommodate our big group. The seating was comfortable, and the lighting added to the relaxed atmosphere. Met up with some lovely friends for dinner. We enjoyed the dimly lit dinner with great food and drinks. We arrived during social hour which had great happy hour prices. I ordered a cubano sandwich which is a pressed sandwich, my sandwich lacked the pressed part. The meats in the sandwich were great, and my wife enjoyed her meat lovers flatbread. Food was very mediocre here. We got the lobster pizza, barely tasked like lobster. The baked oysters were ok, not the best, needed some more flavor. The Caesar salad was odd, it had Kalamata olives and tomatoes on it. Not bad, just different. The best part was the buffalo potato skins, they were fire. Came out to Killer Queens, surprised they had a great menu with lots of vegetarian options. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was delicious. My friend had the chicken pesto sandwich and he loved it. Mimi was our server. She was not only super cute and friendly but very knowledgeable with the menu , was able to provide suggestions from the menu and also educated us on the buildings history and food prep etc. ambiance was chill for a Wednesday. I went with my best friend to try a new place. Upon walking in the bartender was very friendly and super helpful. It was empty but granted it was a Sunday day. The place had a spooky vibe which I am unsure if it's Halloween related or the theme of the bar. We did order hummus which was amazing!!!!! Definitely felt like it was freshly made! Atmosphere was good, but they have an employee with an attitude problem. Older white guy with a short grey beard wearing a hat checked our IDs, gave us a very miserable attitude the entire time and misgendered one of my friends despite seeing her ID. The 2 stars are purely for Mimi, she was amazing! The bartender could use a brush up on drinks. I ordered a vodka collins. A vodka collins is a tom collins, sub the gin for vodka. I got vodka, lime juice, and some kind of sweetener. It should've been vodka, LEMON juice, simple syrup, and club soda. I returned the drink for a blueberry mojito. It was better, but not my thing. The food was also lacking in flavor and quality. The ambience was decent, minus the turds left in the gender neutral bathroom in the back, along with the huge shop vac. read more

This social club, is amazing. It's a great place to meet new friends and have fun. There's live music. The service is great and the cocktail service girls are beautiful and very attentive. I had a wonderful time. I met new friends. Oh and did I mention there's a pool table on the second floor. The security is always there to help if needed. The ambiance was cool, very nice staff, good music, the lighting was the cherry on top. The food was good, definitely small bites instead of a full meal type of thing but still delicious. My friend got an espresso martini and loved her drink. We got the seared tuna sashimi. I'm not usually a fan of raw fish but they made it pretty good. The only reason I put three stars is the old fashioned I ordered tasted like it made out of pure rubbing alcohol. I asked for more simple syrup and was told by their bartender with the thick mustache is that an old fashioned shouldn't be sweet. I've had plenty of old fashions and the one I ordered here is by far the worst one I've had. Even after he added some simple syrup. One of my favorite spots to get my jiggy on... lol... the dj is almost always on point. I love the flatbreads and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Secret menu ask to add meat on the Sammy. Yeah it's more but worth the extra quid... The bartenders keep your glass full even when you don't ask. That's how good the service is. Had a great experience here with a friend this past weekend! I loved the music they played and it was a great nostalgic 90s/early 2000s! It was cool to see the upstairs area with the pool table, but the dance floor on the main level was where it was at! The lights were great and the vibe was even better. Despite it being crowded, I still felt I could move around. We ordered some drinks which were on the pricy side, but were still strong enough to get a nice buzz. Came here to celebrate a birthday and was floored with everything. The vibe was immaculate very dark and somber but still upbeat with a fun crowd. We orders several whiskey sours, the charcuterie board and chicken egg rolls; needless to say we were scraping our plates and sipping every last drop. I won't be back. To begin, the service was super slow and we were ignored, even before raising concerns about the cleanliness. To my horror, there was a dead fly in my ice. I informed the staff (took forever to flag someone down, we actually had to get up and walk to the bar a few times) and they brought out another cup that had someone's food stuck to it.
