I've gone here a couple of times for multiple occasions and holidays.. regardless of the occasion - service and food have been spectacular. The restaurant is offers ample seating and has a full service bar. The decor is modern and makes you feel like you walked into a very upscale location. Been here a couple more times and I'll say it's been a better experience every time. They are friendly and quick I love their smoked old fashioned bourbon drink it's my go to. Came for brunch and as usual had great service and enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant. Our server was friendly, on point, and we didn't have to ask for anything. This was the first time for brunch here and our cocktails were delicious as usual. We ordered the omelette and the steak and eggs. The omelet overall was good but needed an aioli or a dip to pair with it. This was similar to the steak and eggs, maybe a salsa or some time of accompaniment. Now the food was amazing, we all enjoyed our dishes we ordered a wide variety from steak/ fish/ chicken everything came out hot and fresh. One of the best dinners I have ever had. Very pricey what we ordered but worth every penny. It was Monday so hubs got their MONDAY ONLY ribeye. I got the Chilean seabass and it was the best seabass I have ever had in my life. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The crispiness of it was perfection. The purple mashed potatoes were so unbelievably delicious. I'm craving them now too. The outside patio was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. The staff were attentive and happy. The lobster pasta is better than an Italian restaurant in Irvine, I promise it is well made and not too much for the stomach. The music is greatly appreciated even some of my favorite rap songs are mixed over violin and saxophone. Service is quick and pleasant. Not what I expected. And that's a good thing! Attended a dinner function for an association that I'm in. The name "Dapper and Dine" conjures for me old, stuffy, dark with men in Zoot suits scattered about. Wrong! I was pleasantly surprised to enter a space with lots of glass, modern and elegant. Some more private rooms for groups but they still have glass pane walls so you don't feel siloed off from the other parts of the restaurant. The only thing it had in common with my expectation is smooth jazz piping in. The staff was efficient! On point! Like we are on The Polar Express! They handled our group better than any restaurant event I can recall. Afterwards I had dessert at the bar, sans the group experience, and the staff was friendly, and equally efficient. Our group had 2 dinner options. Fettucine Alfredo and Chipolte chicken penne pasta with cream sauce. The fettuccine looked fantastic, big portion too. But I wanted the spicier chipotle. It was very satisfying. Also a large dish, a slight heat, not much. Good flavor with large chunks of chicken. I had to cut them in 1/2 to eat. The pasta was tender with a bit of chew, as it should be. I don't think it's made in house but the dish was very good still. The butter cake was also delicious. Comes with vanilla ice cream and blueberry/raspberry duo. Really nice way to end the night. I also got a slice of chocolate cake to take home to the kids. Haven't seen it or tasted it because I ordered to go. But the server said it's huge compared to the butter cake. And the butter cake was much larger than I expected. 2 people can eat it. I couldn't eat more than 1/2! I really like Dapper and Dine. Gonna have to bring the hubby here for date night. Grown, sexy, AND fresh and modern with good food. read more

Second time here and we've enjoyed it both times. I'm sad they don't have the steak sliders anymore. They were amazing! So I had to try something new and I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it turned out sooo good! I'd love to try more from their menu. My favorite dish at the moment is their blackened chicken with garlic mashed potatoes instead of rice. It is SO good, I'm obsessed with it. I also really enjoyed their pork chop with the garlic mashed potatoes. For dessert, their butter cake is yummy. I liked it more than the chocolate cake I had from a previous visit. As for their drinks, beautiful presentation & they taste great. My cousin custom ordered my raspberry lemon drop and it was bomb. Like it might be my new favorite drink lol. The food selections are plentiful! They were all delicious! The appetizers, OMG, divine! We started with the crab cakes and the pork belly! They each could have been a meal! All of the meals were beautifully presented and we enjoyed them, with the exception of the steak. (Her ribeye was overcooked and we had also seen another table return theirs as well‍) But, The service was very attentive and personable from the time we opened the door. All of the staff was kind and helpful with our questions and with our meal suggestions. This place used to be Sam's Bann Thai. I think they've created something better and special here. Food was pretty good! Dapper did not have a prix fixe, Valentine's day menu. So I decided to try their steak picado which was medium cooked, beef skirt steak. I was surprised at how good my dish was. I wasn't expecting it to taste great. Even the plain rice was savory and flavorful! Hubby got the New Zealand rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked deliciously! But I could not for the life of me, understand why they served it with mint jelly and this tomato onion compote? Those were weird, especially the mint jelly. Off-putting flavors with the lamb. Classic sides would've worked just fine. The purple garlic mashed potatoes were tasty at least. Crab cakes were okay, same with the corn cake for dessert. The latter did come out piping hot and fresh, definitely reminiscent of sweet corn bread with corn pieces inside and vanilla ice cream on top. But it didn't blow me away. My Georgia peach mocktail was really refreshing & good, but $13 is steep. My hubby's Oaxacan old fashion was good too but they poured a very little amount. Overall, cute dinner spot in Riverside! Service was good. Attentive. Nice, forest green decor, with parisian chairs in the covered patio. To me, prices were high, kind of expensive (I've been spoiled with 21 euros or $22 French flank steak with bearnaise sauce and frites in Paris, France from a year and a half ago). My steak picado, while good, was almost $40. Burgers are around $25.... but I would like to try to come back again for other eats like their tequila shrimp pasta. read more

Parking can be tricky since the lot is shared with the bank next door, and even that was full, so we ended up street parking. The layout is well-organized, and the service was excellent. Our server and the manager, Angel, checked in on us throughout the meal. We started with the Poke Nachos, which came in a huge portion, almost too much for three people! Drinks were well-made, and our meals arrived quickly. My fiancée loved the Linguine Pescatore (enough for leftovers), my son thoroughly enjoyed his 8-ounce filet, and I tried the Steak Picado, a sweet chili sauce over tender flat iron-steak chunks that was absolutely stunning in flavor.
