This cafe is located right on Magnolia Ave and there is plenty of parking. Upon entering, I noticed everything was bright and clean. Plenty of seating as well. The workers seemed friendly. There are tons of bakery options displayed. We decided on a few from each category which included a slice of chocolate cake, pastry, cookie, coffee cake, lemon bar, and pecan bar. We also tried their matcha drinks: matcha latte and strawberry matcha. So, the items were tasty but I feel they weren't as fresh as I'd expected them to be. The coffee cake was stale but I'm thinking it'll be better if warmed up. The lemon bar was good and the pecan bar was actually my favorite. Not too sweet at all. Cookie was 7/10, pesto croissant was 6/10 and slice of chocolate deluxe cake was 8/10. The matcha drinks were good and I love that the matcha was watered down. You can taste a bold flavor. Came upon this place randomly on a Tuesday morning around 11. Decided to stop in and give it a try. Located on the corner or Magnolia and Banbury drive. There was plenty of parking at this time. The inside is a clean minimalist look. It's super spacious with lots of seating. They have an amazing assortment of pastries and desserts. We bought several items to try. The total for everything seen in my photos was around $38 which included a vanilla latte. All of the items we tried were delicious. The croissants both savory and sweet were my favorite. I love a really well made croissant. The Ham and Cheese Croissant and Strawberry Croissant with the cream filling were two of the ones that stood out to me. They also warm up the savory pastries! I was on a little pastry adventure and decided to stop by Mr. Baker and Uncle Fluffy since they're only about five minutes apart. Mr. Baker has a large parking lot with plenty of spaces. The bakery is in a big white building on the corner, so it's easy to spot. Inside, there are tables for dine-in on the left, while the counter and dessert display cases are on the right, along with additional seating. They have a great variety of treats, including whole and sliced cakes, macarons, tarts, cookies, scones, and more. Everything looked beautiful and well made. The bakery was also very clean--the tables, floors, and display cases were all well maintained. It was hard to choose, but I ended up getting a chocolate tart, strawberry tart, two macarons, a coconut pineapple cake slice, a turkey jalapeño croissant, four chocolate chip cookies, two dog treats, and a tiramisu matcha latte. The total came to about $45, which I don't mind paying if the quality matches the price. My toddler ended up eating the chocolate tart, so I guess that was a hit. ‍ The tiramisu matcha latte was just okay. It came with a cute little biscuit cookie, but the drink itself wasn't anything memorable--it reminded me of something I could get at Starbucks. The coconut pineapple cake was delicious--very flavorful, creamy, and layered with pineapple and pieces of coconut. First impression when entering the store was that it was clean and they have a nice area for people to study or hang out to have sweets. New bakery in town!!! This location is on Magnolia and it happens to be on the way home for me after working out at LA Fitness. HAHAHA. So I tried it and it was quite a good experience. They offer a wide selection of fresh pastries, cakes, and desserts. I got one of their buttery croissants and a slice of Black Forest chocolate cake. I figured why not treat myself as I had already gone and worked out for an hour. Let me tell you it was worth every bite and calorie. We somehow managed to avoid this place for months upon its recent opening. But today, the willpower came to a crashing halt. My decision was based on observing another customer buying two of these behemoths. Unabashed, I asked if she had tried them before. The creamy filling with chopped pistachio, is dreamy and not overly sweet, something I really appreciate. Their carrot cake is also pretty good as it has a lot of nuts and a delicious cream cheese frosting in the middle. The tiramisu was delicious as well. I remembered seeing it on social media - so we decided to pull in and take a peak inside. Parking is located in front and on the side of the building.
