Great tasting cookies made with love and butter. Could I ask for more? Yep. Throw great chocolate in the mix, and it's hard to say no. In fact, I didn't. We bought 5 cookies, four with chocolate chips, but not all the same, and one oatmeal raisin. As for the chocolate varieties, we are pretty predictable: two plain chocolate chip, an oatmeal chocolate chip, and an Earthquake (a chocolate dough with oatmeal, chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut). All winners. Sorry, no pictures. All gone already. Oink. Wish they were bigger. Wish they didn't cost $1.75 ea. Damn, they were good. read more

If you're looking for homemade-style cookies, this is the spot to try. I found it while driving by and had no trouble finding street parking out front. The shop was quiet during my visit, and the employee working was friendly, patient, and happy to explain what was in each cookie. I didn't want to commit to a full dozen for $18, so I mixed and matched 4 cookies at $1.75 each, totaling $7. I ordered the chocolate chip with nuts, Coco Puffs, Snowberry (oatmeal white chocolate with cranberry), and campfire (s'mores). The cookies are reasonably priced for their small size. They had a soft, chewy center with a crisp exterior. While they were not overly sweet, there was a slight lingering sugary aftertaste. Overall, the cookies were satisfying, though not anything spectacular. They are comparable to what you could bake at home. The one flavor that felt the most unique was the campfire cookie with roasted marshmallow on top, which I would recommend trying. Hadn't been here in such a long time, but it's pretty much like I remember. The riverside cookie is still my favorite. It's like a citrus sugar cookie with a chocolate coating on half the cookie. Soooo good. The campfire is probably my second favorite. If you're hoping to try different cookies, make sure to get there early (at least before 10 am) because they do run out and I dont think they make more once they do. Price for a dozen is $18 so it's still cheaper than places like Crumbl and at least they're cooked through. read more

Love this place! yes their cookies are more expensive, but they are worth it. They have so many flavors and are really good. Whenever I'm in Riverside, I go by. Tried Riverside Cookie shoppe for the first time recently and i can say it definitely lives up to the hype. They currently have a deal where if you buy one cookie you get a second for free (if you follow them on instagram) i got the campfire cookie and my bf got the earthquake cookie. Both were delicious but the campfire cookie was my favorite. The cookies were nice and soft. Although the shop is really small they have a variety of cookies to offer with lots of unique flavors as well as the classics. Service was friendly and helpful. I will be going back for sure. read more

I've been training at the gym across the street for years and I've never been here . Finally walked in and I'll be coming here all the time now. Best cookies in the IE. They close early, so check times. At the end of day it's slim pickings. They make delicious vegan chocolate chip cookies, too. Cute shop. Make sure you get details if ordering. I ordered 5 dozen plain heart cut out sugar cookies for my daughter's class to decorate during their Valentine's Day class party.. They charged $90. I thought I would get the large heart (approximately 4 inches) cookies that are displayed in the store for the price, instead I received 5 dozen small (approximatelt 2 in) sugar cookies for $90. These are small, plain undecorated sugar cookies!!!! I could have bought the "fancy cookies" for that price and saved the mess. Totally disappointed. I am sure the kids will be too, there is so little room for them to decorate. When I expressed my disappointment, I was told that cookies are $18 per dozen and offered the opportunity to email them!!! read more

If you wanna get some amazing cookies this is the place to go. I would highly recommend to come to Riverside Cookie Shoppe, they have the best cookies in the entire world. My favorite thing to get there is the fruity pebbles cookie, and you have to try them they are so good, and addicting, you can't stop having one. Their service is on point every single time. You must try the Fruity Pebbles Cookies, because you're gonna love them and they melt in your mouth. read more

Cute cookie shop located in an eclectic neighborhood shopping center . I stopped in minutes before closing along with a few other patrons, and to my delight there were still several cookie choices available . I went with snow berry, oatmeal scotchie ,and M&M . The snowberry(oatmeal, cranberries, white chocolate) was for me. When I was home I microwaved it for a few seconds and it was if it came from the oven . This is a super cute little place! If you are a cookie person, look no further :) It's always rare to find a great tasting cookie shop that isn't a huge business like Crumbl or Mrs. Field's. Most like to take the quirky route and combine the weirdest flavors together for a new taste. However, Riverside Cookie Shoppe is a local, small business that bakes their own fresh cookies everyday and has new flavor combinations alongside a ton of the classics we all love. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and a little something for everyone! I personally love their campfire cookie while my sister really loves their classic peanut butter cookie. The last time I went, I remember them also having gluten free options as well. Aside from the great cookies, the staff here is also so kind and welcoming, which automatically just makes you want to go back. TBH I didn't know that I needed a cookie shop in my life until now! I am loving this place! The cookies are SO good. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and customer service is excellent. A dozen cookies cost $14 bucks. They are delicious, and packed in a perfect little box (I dropped a box off to my cryo therapist and she loved it!). My top three cookies are the Bon Bon (cookie dough rolled in crushed walnuts with a fudge center), vegan chocolate chip (no eggs), and lemon cookie (my top pick). I purchased the space, formerly known as Pine Bakery, in February of 2013. Our customers have gravitated to our delicious wide assortment of traditional and gourmet cookies. Therefore, in January of 2015 I changed the name to focus on our main attraction -- we became Riverside Cookie Shoppe. We are excited about our new direction focusing on delicious cookies made from scratch and baked throughout the day. Hope to see you soon!
