While I wouldn't say this is the worst spot I've ever been to, it's not the greatest either. Compared to other places in the area, this spot is a bit more expensive. While I did feel like they gave a good amount of protein. The sauces were bland and they don't give you much. The rice was also a bit mushy. Overall the bowl was nothing outstanding. The service was fine, the lady who served me was nice, and offered a water after I turned down a drink. Ordered this via DoorDash for pickup. Really impressed with their poke bowls. Most places I try poke bowls, I tend to feel that the flavors are off. I'd started to think maybe I don't like poke in general and that the marinades the fish are put in might just not be to my liking. Not so with this place. I believe they marinate the fish in yuzu? It's subtle and not overpowering. I got a side of sesame sauce to pour over and it was really flavorful. I got a small bowl with yellowtail and salmon and the portions were generous. Even though it was $15, I think of it as getting 2 meals in one because I had enough for leftovers. I've been to poke places where the scoops are tiny and the servers are stingy with their portions, but our server was great and we were satisfied with the ratio of fish to rice and toppings in our bowl. Taste is decent but not the best. $20 for three very small scoops of protein, rice kinda mushy, although very fresh fish! Place is clean, plenty of parking, and service is great! When you first walk in it doesn't smell super great - kind of like a public restroom and it was hot, the AC was definitely not running. We ordered a miso soup, spam musubi, and a large poke bowl. This came out to $26. The miso soup was watery and didn't have much flavor - which no big deal because who orders soup from a Poke place. But the spam musubi was gray and inedible. Was excited for a poke place close to home. Came in one night for a small poke bowl- everything was pretty basic, wish there were more variety sauces and better topping options. Bigger issue was after leaving realized they charged me for a large instead of small. Honest mistake but after calling back was told a manager was going to call to fix it. Never received a call and stopped in again in person with no resolution. Same young gentleman both times who apparently didn't know how to do that and couldn't recover in anyway. Been here twice once in January and again today. First time the portions seemed a bit skimpy but bowl was good overall. Fish is fresh but slightly disappointed by portions for the price. Would have given 3/5 based on initial visit Went again today and bowl was loaded up to the point she could barely close the lid. This is more in line with portions given at competitors in Chino Hills. 4/5 stars now if portions continue to be like this. Glad to have a poke restaurant close to home in the Preserve. read more

The service was nice and the ambiance was quite pleasant, but unfortunately it cost me around 15 dollars for a small bowl. I don't mind this because pricing goes off amount of scoops, so I knew what I was getting myself into, but the lack of fish I was served compared to other places for a small bowl was just really noticeable! I mostly had rice left over at the end of my meal when normally, at other poke places, I'd have a good mix of carbs, proteins, and vegetables. Also, the rice was really mushy and a little too warm for my taste! There aren't a lot of sauce options available either. I know this is a relatively new place though, so I hope they can find time to improve on these things. read more

It was our first time trying today. I got a 2 scoop bowl with rice/salad and tuna/yellowtail. I dont mean to sound picky but the pieces of green were HUGE and did not taste like they had been washed. The 2 scoops of fish were fresh, but overall the taste of the howl was VERY bland. It needed more flavor and it was not there. For $16 i dont think it was worth it.
