Remember years ago, and I mean years ago, when sushi restaurants were small with basic tables tons of handwritten menus on the walls? Well this is that place. It looks very nostalgic and like your cute little hole in the wall sushi spot in your neighborhood that you go to when you get home from work. After living here for the last seven years, we actually decided to stop in. The menu is expensive and very affordable. The staff was very attentive and always make sure we had what we needed as pictured. We got the sashimi combos. The cuts of fish were giant. And enough for one to share, but why would you? Not pictured are the three giant hand rolls we ordered thinking that our dinners wouldn't be enough. The combos come with rice, soup and salad, but our waitress gave us the option to double up on soup or salad. You also have an option to have white rice, brown rice or fried rice. For two combos and three handles the bill was about $70. So if you're looking for a nice little cute date night or something to scratch the itch of needing sushi, this is the place.

o9.13.2o25 Saturday night dinner. There's no way there isn't a need to wait. We waited for probably 15-20mintes along with 2 other parties. We all got seated the same time, which was pretty cool. This place is not very big but the foods were good and service was great. They tell every customer "See you tomorrow" as they exit. We got the Sashimi Sampler E, the steak & scallop teppanyaki, and california rolls. All were very delicious and the fried rice was also bomb. We really enjoyed the meal and hope to visit again soon!

The sushi quality and preparation of food can use a lot of work. I got 3 bento boxes to-go (chicken katsu, beef teriyaki and salmon) and all of them were so rough to eat. The salmon was dry and overcooked, drenched in teriyaki, the beef teriyaki was supposed to be medium rare but it was well done and tough to chew, the chicken katsu was rubbery. The quality of sashimi in one of the boxes was so unfortunate, the fish did not look fresh. See pic. I tried to give this place another try but I think that's my last visit.

I was super skeptical after trying this place after COVID years ago from a very overpriced terrible experience. I ordered from here on accident thinking it was a different Japanese restaurant until I started driving. I ordered their Valentines special for 2 and 4 orders of California rolls and gyoza for the kids. The Valentine special was called "O-fish-ially-yours" for $99: Edamame, 2 soup, 2 salad, Otoro roll, Rainbow row, 2x - 6 piece sashimi of Salmon, Yellowtail, Albacore, Tuna It was expected to have a long wait time and waited 50 minutes for an online order on a Saturday night on Valentines. I went home to show the family and was pretty impressed for an online pick up on presentation. Now for the taste test... it was absolutely AWESOME. I don't know what they changed but the fish was fresh, the sushi rice was perfect, not like it came straight from the rice cooker years ago with no taste, and the sauces on the rolls were spot on, not salty or overpowering and I've had plenty of sushi over the years. This place totally turned around and will definitely be back for more. I hope this is the new consistency. Thanks for a great Valentines Day Dinner. :) I guess this time the above average prices has been justified by the quality. No complaints! UPDATE: My wife reminded me that I was so disappointed years ago that I called to speak to the manager and complain about my meal without leaving a negative review since they just opened. Here we are years later. Nice!!

Love this place. They're consistently great, small but worth the wait. The servers are very nice and welcoming. Prices are pretty good too. The sushi is all good, the teppanyaki is also very good.

Grabbed dinner with my friend for pick up, here was our experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking so we didn't have any issues Seating: Room for about 40 people. Great for small groups. Vibes: Welcome to the Inland Empire. It's not too flashy, it's suburbia central for the most part. The spot itself is a casual but effortful setup from the Japanese decor, friendly welcoming, a tv for sports, and lite rock music. Great place for family, friends, or solo dining. FOOD: Toro's Salad (Recommend) Refreshing - cold slabs of shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. Complemented with avocado, greens, and cucumber. For something light with variety, this is a good order. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome! I walked in, was welcomed and my order was ready for pick up. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 stars. Pretty solid. Good prices, good selections, and a pleasant experience. Inland Empire is not known for sushi but this is a pretty solid spot. TIPS: * Toro means fatty part of the fish

Insert music with fireworks and a bass load of party mixes! That amazing feeling is what this place gives as soon as you walk in! This place is consistent with amazalicious food and outstanding service every time. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the team with great smiles and genuine happiness. The atmosphere is similar to what you will walk into in Japan. Very intimate and festive cultural decorations. The team members are attentive and the owners are open to adjusting the ingredients to your preference when possible. We ordered the following (1-5 with 5 being amazeballs): Bento: salmon teriyaki, shrimp tempura, all tuna sashimi with rice and salad. 5 The sashimi and salmon were extremely fresh. The sauce wasn't overpowering but had the perfect flavor balance. The tempura shrimp was hot and crispy on the outside and the shrimp was tender and flavorful. The sauce was light and complimentary. Teppanaki NY steak and scallops medium rare 5 The steak was tender and flavorful. The scallops were cooked perfectly! Tender and firm. The flavor was on point and wasn't buried in veggies like most places. The fried rice was definitely a flavor booster! Bento: Crunchy roll, sushi sampler and teriyaki beef. 5. Everything was fresh and the meat was flavorful and tender. Sushi was soft and fresh. The seafood was tender and definitely yummy. Toro and OMG Roll 5. One word! Perfect! Calamari rings 5 Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not overly salted and perfect with the sauce. Bluefin tuna was caught today! 5 This was beyond yummylicious! Literally melted in our mouths! Even the fried banana ala mode was fresh! Our tummies were so stuffed and our taste buds were am beyond happy!

A bit of a late post- I didn't know what to expect when I arrived at this charming little sushi joint, but I was pleasantly surprised! We arrived during happy hour, which is conveniently offered most of the day from Monday to Thursday and even longer on weekends. Just in time at 6:30 PM, we took advantage of the great timing. We ordered six rolls along with a large Sapporo: The Red Dragon, Rainbow, Jalapeno, Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Salmon, and OMG rolls. My favorites were definitely the Rainbow, OMG, and Red Dragon. Each roll was delicious, and the extensive menu means I'll definitely be back to try even more rolls. Missing star because the other rolls were just mehhh like not good at all and the service was ok.

Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is small, but feels very comfortable. Beautiful lighting and decor along the walls. The staff was super attentive, coming by to check how our food turned out and giving us a heads up for last call on happy hour orders. The Happy Hour deals were great, $7-9 for 5 pieces of sushi. This made it easy to mix and match different rolls. I ordered an Otoro and Mango Tango roll; both were delicious, but I would return for the Otoro roll. The tempura shrimp inside had a fantastic crunch. The Sashimi Sampler came with a variety of large pieces of fish. Wasabi and ginger available upon request. Want to come back to try the hibachi lunch!

Jennifer Roll

The place was small, but it has nice decor inside. Everything was really good and fresh. We ordered a roll that's not on the menu called the 'Jennifer Roll,' and it was amazing! The perfect combination of fresh fish, avocado, lemon, and jalapeño. We also had the Mango Tango Roll, Aburi Salmon Sushi, and some Yellowtail Sashimi. Our server, Ana, was very attentive and kind. This is the best sushi spot we've been to so far, with a great service.

Honestly most people know ramen expectations should be low when you order it as take out but i think they do a great job with how they package their takeout! I've tried their normal lemonade and their mango passionfruit sweet tea and personally i like their sweet tea more! The drink portion is nice and large! Definitely not overly sweet and it always hit with my ramen. I've tried most of their ramens, i like the fact that they have different style noodles. Personally i think their wavy noodles go better with the rich broths like the miso and the Tokyo style one (a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu ) and the straight noodles go god with their clear broth like the shoyu or the yuzu shio. I normally get their shoyu mostly because it gives me the least acid reflux, but that's nothing with their food it's just a health issue for me :( i would say my favorite is their Tokyo style broth. I think it has a nice balance of flavor and the wavy noodles just soak up that broth nicely. I've only had their appetizers on takeout so they're not super fresh, and not really a main stopper for me. The large is good but i wish it was a little bigger with the pieces. Sometimes they're just small and idk it feels like it's missing something. I got the opportunity to stop here yesterday after my tattoo, and the service was decent. Got seated quickly and my order taken quick as well. My food took a few minutes to be made but nothing crazy of a wait. Overall i had a good time, i do go on a Saturday around 7:30 pm so not sure if that matters. For take out i do recommend ordering min 30 minutes before pickup because i do feel like it can take a minute, but thats the nice part of take out that you can order in advance. I think for Eastvale/ norco ramen this place a nice broth and noodles. And it's not overly oily or salty :)

My daughter found this location when we were looking for places to eat around Corona. I was excited and looking forward to eating here. When we walked in, it took some time for anyone to acknowledge us. Finally when we were told to choose a table and were brought menus I thought the service would improve, but sadly it only got worse. There were three other tables besides ours, two of them hadn't placed their orders yet. The waitress took the orders for those tables, brought food for the third table, went and got waters for the first two tables, then the drinks they ordered, then their food, and then finally came back to take our order!?! We sat and watched all this for maybe 20 minutes before she came back to our table. The staffing wasn't her fault, but she should've taken our order at least after those two other tables or after giving them drinks. I was really disappointed by the service, but the food and drinks were still good and consistent with what we got from the location we used to frequent. The restaurant is not big, maybe around 8-10 tables. Could be a bit cleaner, but otherwise similar to a fast casual restaurant. We've returned once since this visit and the service was better but it still took a long time to be acknowledged when we first walked in. I would probably come back again because I enjoy their food and drinks, but wouldn't recommend this particular location until their service improves.

We were seated pretty quick and I ordered the jalapeño bombs as well as the Tonkotsu Spicy Black ramen. Everything was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and the portion was satisfying. You can selct the spicy level. I got to try both levels 1 and 2. Level 2 is on the spicier side and just on the cusp of being too much. I think 3 would be too spicy to enjoy, imo. One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning

The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!
