My kids and I have been ordering from this place since we moved to Riverside years ago. I love that their food is good and the price is fair. It's neither cheap nor expensive... I've been buying here for potlucks and when I bring food for my staff. We love their Orange Chicken, Beef Broccoli, eggplant dish, BBQ pork -- it's so juicy, tasty, tender even without the sauce (unlike other Chinese restos where it can be dry, chewy and/or tastes ok only in the surface or if you pour sauce). Their food is always fresh and taste is consistent. The staff are so nice... service is fast and efficient. I can't say much about the ambiance coz it's a regular fast food but it is always clean and is quite important... FYI: if you have to go for lunch or dinner, expect a long line. And bring cash if you can coz I've had instances where their card machine wasn't working and you don't want to go home empty handed. LoL read more

Hey what can I say, it's fast food Chinese food. Of course it's going to be oily and have MSG And you know what I liked it. I get the green beans chicken and the eggplant tofu, both are very flavorful and i personally highly recommend. I get half white rice and half noodles. For a 2 item plate it comes to about $8.00, and they give way better servings than Panda Express or other places. I recommend this spot for a quick guilty lunch, maybe not everyday, because you might get a heart attack, but once in a while would suffice lol read more

This review is based on multiple visits. I really love the food here. The food is served cafeteria style, the food is already prepared and sitting under heat lamps. My first time here. I ordered a two-item plate with chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken and beef broccoli and it was enough to feed nearly three people. The food was good. I really enjoyed the orange chicken, it was crispy and maybe the best I've had in a good while. The beef broccoli was a little soggy, but I liked its taste. There were just four sides to choose from at the time but I was satisfied with my choices. The price was certainly right, I got change back from my $10 bill and that doesn't happen very often anymore. I will try it again for sure. read more

My daughter who works at Kaiser brought me chow mien for dinner. While sleeping I woke and made a rush to the toilet. I was sick for a couple of days. A couple weeks later she brought me another dinner of chow mien. I hesitated before eating but was hungry, so I ate it. Bad idea. I was sick for two months with food poisoning. Both sides were good, however the both entrees tasted old like they had been sitting out too long, and Both were lukewarm as if they were not kept to temperature in the serving tables. You know what that means-potential to get sick from bacteria :-X I also found a fruit fly dead on a jalapeño. Since I dined in, I let staff know & they made me a new plate. I go here most Sundays with my family. The food is amazing! 10$ for a plate may seem expensive, but they fill that up to the brim! I usually get broccoli & beef with Chowmein, and sometimes teriyaki chicken. The strawberry lemonade is usually out of order, but that's alright. It's very clean, with such comfy seating. They finish making your plate in a heartbeat! I could get 3 whole plates, and they serve it out in barely 5 minutes. ALL their food is so fresh, it's beaming hot right when you get it. I love the broccoli & beef sauce, it's very savory and tasty. The staff is so so sweet, for example, my brother, the one who always pays, he tips with the remaining money. The cashier had remembered him and recognized his tipping pattern, and gave him some free eggrolls! Great customer service overall. Their hours are a little bit inconsistent in my experience, but I would definitely recommend this place! Surely one of the best Chinese food places I have ever been to. Also, if I'm being honest, a couple of their options are great for picky eaters, so get some for children too! 10/10 read more

Fist time l came to this place all the way from Pasadena Ca., l noticed something at first which is the cleanest environment, second was the freshness of their food, l guess because the time (11:25 am) and they open at 11 am. To me, take out Chinese food is such a hit or miss game, depending on how long the meat has been sitting out for. The tangerine chicken was recommended so I had some and it was terribly hard and chewy. I also had the orange chicken which was soft and fresh. So I believe quality really depends on the luck of the draw and when you go in to order. One subject I feel is very important to share is the usage of a debit card here. I entered the store without cash knowing most places accept ATM cards. There is a sign that indicates ATM transactions will incur a $1.50 fee which I was ok with. The method is unorthodox as they round up your total to the nearest tenth and refund you the difference. For example, my total was $17.49 so they charged my card $21.50 and gave me back $2.51 in cash. That night I looked at my receipt and saw my bank account balance on the bottom which was a bit concerning to me. The next day I checked my bank account and was also charged $2.00 for this transaction. I go into detail to inform other consumers of the consequences of using your ATM card. Some may not mind paying $3.50 in fees but I do and will not make that mistake again. read more
