PHO HA @ RIVERSIDE A place that was opened pretty late, there is parking available out front and is free. We got seated immediately and was handed the menus. There was all sorts of food, such as their most popular, Pho, Rice Dishes, and more. We decided to get their spring rolls and a bowl of their pho, getting the full combo, as well as a Lychee Fruit Tea with Boba. The pho was decent, there was so much meat, flavorful, and the veggies (mint and lemon) they gave to us was plenty and clean. The spring rolls were okay, i've definitely had better, the meat selection was very thin, and the peanut butter sauce tasted like straight hoisin sauce, I definitely wished it had more of that Peanut taste. The boba was A MISS, extremely street, full of just straight syrup and sugar. Do not recommend this. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this spot but it was worth a try for being opened late and near the area.

Food was good but the service was terrible, staff were inattentive and rude. They very clearly treated our table less than because we were white, we felt discriminated against. Waiters were very kind to other tables but neglected ours. We felt overlooked the entire time, and it made the experience uncomfortable. It's disappointing because we came in expecting the same level of service as everyone else. I hope the restaurant works on treating all customers equally. There was also a hair found in my bowl which was unsanitary.

Number 11 and order of enrolls
Jose L.

The number 11 is raw steak and fatty brisket. The food comes out made to order so you know you're getting a very fresh meal. The broth came out super steaming hot as well as the egg rolls. The egg rolls were super delish. Like most Vietnamese restaurants, the service wasn't the best but that's a sure sign that the food will hit. This is my go to Vietnamese restaurants in Riverside over any other, been coming here for the last decade. Vibes are pretty great, it has recently gone through a renovation (not sure when) but place looks clean and refreshed.

Delicious and reasonably priced food, and great portions. So many options. Service is great- greeted and immediately seated. Within 5 minutes our order was placed. Plenty of seating and the ambiance is chill- you can have a conversation without having to yell.

Beef crispy chow mein

I was in the Riverside area attending a Yelp event. Afterwards, I needed to pick up dinner for my youngest daughter. I found this Pho Ha nearby so I called and placed my order for pick-up... 1 Pho Dac Biet and 1 Beef Chow Mein crispy. It was about 30 mins before closing time. When I got here, there was only one table of customers. Wow, this is probably the most fanciest pho place I have ever been at. Lots of elegant bright lights and seating was all along both sides of the walls. It was a really nice pho place to say the least. After entry, I had to walk all the way to the back to pay and pick up my food. Staff was okay... not the most smiliest. It was a very quick visit. I didn't even take too many pictures as the staff were kind of watching me for some reason... not sure. Anyway, the portions are quite big for the price. My daughter enjoyed her foods. Will I be back? It all depends if I'm in the area and if I'm up for some pho.

First time here . Ordered to go pho well done flank . Food was good and fresh . Service was fast and friendly. Found my new go to Pho restaurant. Can't wait to try more of the menu items . My wait was short but the ambiance seemed good to go alone , with family and friends .

Rare steak pho

Pho Ha provides impressively fast service in a clean and well-maintained environment. I tried the rare steak pho, which was decent, though not particularly memorable. The efficiency and cleanliness of the store make it a convenient spot for a quick meal.

I absolutely love this pho restaurant! I have been going there almost every week! The best thing about this place is they open early at 9am for the early birds like me! The restaurant is clean, I see the employees cleaning all the time. They have fast service too! Or maybe because when I go there it's always quite early with a few customers. My favorite is still their #1 pho combination. There are 2 size options too medium or large and it's just a dollar difference! Their vermicelli #99 is also pretty delicious and generous portion! Also try their appetizer egg rolls and spring rolls! Flavors are always on point! Will definitely come back to try their other items on their menu!

The food has really fallen off, and the service never been great. Nice looking place, pretty food but that's about it.

Sauteed pork ribs

Decent pho, good broth, steak actually comes pink medium rare. Combo fried rice is delicious but my favorite is the sauteed pork ribs which I could eat every day. Comes in a cast iron bowl with rice and veggies. Love the pan fried noodles and drinks also. Always a busy crowd, fast service and ambiance is nice with remodeled newer clean booths

I had to come back and do an update. My original review was four or five stars. Thought I found a place that I could make a favorite. After my most recent experience, it was one of the worst customer service situations I've encountered. Although the other staff were nice, one particular lady who is younger and wears glasses had a very bad attitude. Not only to us but to other guest also. I definitely won't be back. She was rude from the moment she walked up until the moment we asked for to-go containers. It was to the point that I was still going to leave a small tip, but she completely changed my mind the way she tossed the containers on the table. Anyways, I'll be looking for a new favorite spot. Great pho. Best in the area. Authentic and good service. More sauces needed on table. No fish oil.

Do they do carry out?

They do have carry out. Their containers are really easy to carry and they won't spill. They have decent carry out customer service as well.

Is this the same phone ha in Pomona?

Nope!

They were a bit stingy on the lemon wedges and veggies. There were three of us and we ordered three bowls of Pho. We got one small plate of veggies and two lemon wedges. When we asked for more lemons, waiter looked over at our table to make sure we actually needed more lemons. When we asked for a sauce plate/cup, he looked bothered. Well next time just put little sauce plates on the table and we wouldn't have to ask you to get it. Like how do they not know people like to dip their meats in Siracha and Hoison sauce. Not everyone just pours it into the bowl. When we ordered our Pho, we also ordered a Banh Mi sandwich as a to go order. At the end of our meal, my wife went to pay and the check included the price with the sandwhich. She paid and asked how long the sandwich would take, they said, "what sandwich!" Uh, the one we just paid for. Cashier looked confused and asked to see the receipt. Then he went to the back and asked about the sandwich. We could hear someone in the back saying they didn't make a sandwich. Cashier apologized and we waited another 12 minutes for the sandwich. Pho was actually good but a bit on the pricey side. $20 for the Dac Biet. Next time we'll just go to Pho Ha down the street for better noodles at a cheaper price and they won't charge you for a sandwich that doesn't exist.

This place has an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu which is pretty cool! Unfortunately, I wasn't…read moresuper impressed with the food I tried. I ordered a vegan pho and a vegan banh mi. The pho was the better of the two. I liked the vegan spiced beef meatballs but the airy and light fried tofu in the pho didn't feel texturally comparable to sliced beef in pho. I also didn't feel like there was enough protein in the bowl, since normally pho is packed with a variety of different meats. The flavor of the soup was nice and the amount of noodles was satisfactory as well. The banh mi was not so good. I liked the crinkle cut radish and carrots but that's about all. The sliced beef meatballs and the fried tofu again didn't really evoke the taste and texture of meat in a banh mi, and the protein was basically just a few thin non-overlapping slices per section of the sandwich. The worst offender-- the sandwich was dry. Vegan should mean vegan mayo, not no mayo at all. It was sooooo dry. I had to take it home and add my own mayo. I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. I think I'd just order different items next time, like some of the saucy stir fry plates instead.

The beef tasted old and if i could say, without ever trying dog food, the beef reminded me of that. I really wanted to like this place. The inside of the restaurant is super cute. And it wasnt busy. They had a few people at the bar. And one other party of 4 eating, an empty table next to them with dirty dishes, and no one bothered to pick them up the whole 20-30 minutes i sat there waiting for my food. The other items i ordered were a chicken bahn mi, edamame and egg rolls. The family said it was good. I just can't recommend the beef. I might check it out again and try something else.
