It's mid. I've been to a couple of Chinese buffets before and this place is just ok. Service is good, the servers are attentive and cleans up the plates right away. Food is ok. I'd love to have more seasonings to anything. Like the egg drop soup, you need to add soy sauce or salt. The honey walnut shrimp lacks walnuts and needs more mayonnaise. When you think the bite is going to be good, it fails and you just eat it because you're hungry. Well, that was my case anyway. The highlight for my trip would be the baked salmon which was pretty fresh, the first plantain I ate (the second one wasn't good), and surprisingly the chocolate cake square is ok too. I got the vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream. It was as pretty good. The selection of fruits is pretty good, they have strawberries, cherries, watermelon, sliced oranges. Everything is bland. I'm disappointed. Ambiance is ok. It could be cleaner in the bathrooms. read more

Absolutely unacceptable. Don't waste your time!!!! We showed up at 8:00 PM. They close at 9:30 PM. There was a 40-minute line out the door -- and no one bothered to inform customers that there was basically no food left inside. After finally getting in, almost everything was empty. No refills. No variety. Just dried-out scraps sitting in trays. It honestly felt like they stopped caring long before closing time. The tables were dirty, the dining area looked neglected, and the entire place felt poorly managed. The staff worked extremely slowly and showed zero sense of urgency, especially during peak hours. On top of that, the servers pressure customers to leave tips -- which is completely inappropriate given the level of service provided. You don't pressure people for gratuity when the service is this bad. No management presence. No communication. No organization. Do not waste your time coming here. There are plenty of better places that actually respect their customers. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this buffet, they don't have that many options for food but it was enough for me to be satisfied. I liked their meats, veggies, rice, noodles and sushi. I usually don't care for dessert but tried some and was not impressed. My favorites; sesame balls, breaded shrimp, orange chicken, mushrooms, crab rangoon and more that I can't remember. Overall a good experience with good customer service. read more

I can't even tell you about the food because they made us so uncomfortable we refused to stay and eat. My child is learning to be a gentleman and open the door for the women in the family, they came running yelling at him "pull don't push!!!!" . The look in his eyes were terror. These people have no manners at all. He's a child for goodness sake! Then I apologized that he opens the door the wrong way and tried to fix the little cheap carpet back. They argued with me and told me no no and made everyone just stand and stare while they fixed the carpet. They have a lot to learn about being kind and professional. I'm sure they didn't any us at their establishment anyway by the cold stated they all gave us. They are the kind always ready to have bus on others and treat them unkind because of how they judge others. Once you walk in it's hot and muggy and not very clean. It's time for another in my occasional series I call... "Guest Yelp From The Wifey!" This review will be in her words but with my Elite-level editing prowess (since we're a team!). "I am an IHSS Caretaker for an elderly lady recently recovering from hip replacement surgery. I take care of her 3-4 days a week for a few hours, and when we're out together she often enjoys lunch out and about since it gets her out of the house and she likes to stay social. She was craving Chinese Food a few weeks back and asked me to take her here. I had been here a couple of times with family when it was called 'Open Kitchen Buffet' and it wasn't too bad - so I thought... why not? Big...big mistake... Firstly, when we were shown to a table we had to ask for water several times. I was brought water, but my companion was ignored despite more than one request. After the third, we just kind of looked at each other like 'What the heck?' I had to eventually flag her down myself for water. We also asked for extra napkins and silverware at one point, and the attitude/body language of the wait staff was like it was the biggest inconvenience in the world for them to help us. At that point, my companion was using a walker and I had to help her with her plate. There were employees hovering over each of the 3 main food sections and they were eyeballing us as if to make sure we weren't taking too much food (at a supposed 'all you can eat buffet'). This made for a very uncomfortable experience. As my companion was dishing up her food, we noticed sushi and seafood along a back table and decided to check out the selection. We both spotted an employee standing in a nearby doorway leading into a storage area who was PICKING HIS NOSE IN PLAN VIEW OF CUSTOMERS AND CLOSE TO FOOD!!! After that, I finished getting my companion's food and settled at the table and was finishing getting my food; as I was coming around one of the buffet tables towards our seat, another employee was standing by the soda and soft-serve machine WHO WAS ALSO PICKING HER NOSE!!!!! I was so disgusted I could barely eat any food. My companion and ate only a a minimum amount of food, staring at each other in silent disbelief. After this, we asked for our checks. When we went to pay, my companion handed me her check and card to pay for her. The employee at the register asked for my check and my card as well. I calmly explained to her which card was for which check and she charged the WRONG CHECK TO THE WRONG CARD! Even after I had explained to her which was which three times. Each time she insisted she would do it right and was raising her voice and still she got it wrong. When I pointed out her error (despite her insistence that she would get it right), she started ranting at me and my companion in Mandarin. Needless to say, we will never be coming back here again. The level of unprofessionalism and apparent lack of hygiene among the employees here is such a major turn off that no matter how good the food might be here, I can't recommend that anybody come here as long as their current owners/management are in place. I would give this place 0 stars if I could." read more

first let's start with the filthy windows, those who refresh the cook food are constantly on your way. As for takeouts my friend ask for take out containe for food left on her plate, we were told you have to pay per lb for leftover. Next she was asked to remove a sausage out of her purse because they had been watching us the entire time on camera. No proof, very adamant about her removing a sausage from her purse she refused and we were told not comeback we won't nothing lost. My friend said out of the few people there we were being watched and she could see them staring like nonstop. Do not eat there or you will be treated less than, not worth it! read more

First, and Foremost, apologies to the customers that were not pleased with the Hibachi Grill Buffet. Everyone has the right to an opinion, but as for my opinion, I wish I was able to give a billion star review. In reality, buffets are normally for youths to adults. When my grandson was little he was a McDonald's fan. So, when I took his older siblings to dine out, I would politely stop by McDonald's to purchase a happy meal and take it in the restaurant and let him enjoy his happy meal while my older grandchildren enjoyed their restaurant food. Lol's Now, that he is a teenager he is the opposite. My daughter kept bragging about this Awesome, and Ambiance Grilled Seafood buffet called Hibachi's. She knows I do not like eating in restaurants because, I cook homemade food daily. Two Sunday's ago, she called and invited me and ensure me I would love the food at Hibachi's restaurant and she was absolutely right!! All of the Seafood was absolutely fresh and it has so many choices! It was So Excellent and Satisfying until I thought I was in a candy store!Lol's Even my grandkids were surprised that I enjoyed the seafood buffet and ALL of the employees were Absolutely Amazing!! It was SoOoo delicious until I just called my Sista'friend that lives in Moreno Valley, CA, and we're going there while Superbowl Sunday is going on! Anyone that is reading this review I beg you to go to Hibachi Grill Buffet you will definitely be giving them a 5 Star Review. Especially, if you enjoy Seafood! It is like Candy-land. The only difference is it is Seafood. Smile. Shout Out to my daughter and grandchildren for taking me to Hibach's, I am forever grateful! To the Staff please let your Legendary Personality, Professionalism, Integrity, and Respect keep Shining like Star's!!!!! I really like this asian buffet. It's family owned and run and you can tell they put a lot of pride and work into it. Food is good and very neatly presented. Service it good. One thing extra special my wife and I like is the fruit presentation. Quality fruit nicely prepared; mango, watermelon, grapes, papaya, pineapple, oranges, etc. We have dined here 3 times already in the last 4 months since discovering it. . Very reasonable price. Best Chinese buffet hands down! surprised at all these bad reviews. Never had any issues with them. Salt and pepper shrimp is perfect and super crispy can eat the head and tail if you wanted kind of crisp. They have the best prices too! Walnut shrimp, lo mein, fried rice on par with Panda Express. Fruit selection was great too. Had sweet red mangos, dragon fruit, oranges were nice and sweet. All the servers are nice. Favorite buffet for sure read more

I really didn't have high expectations of this Chinese buffet but let me say that the food was pretty darn good. The whole family enjoyed the freshness of all the items and how clean the restaurant was. For $17.99 dinner buffet for an adult, you can't get a better deal elsewhere. The only issue we had was with the cashier at the front as she was very rude and thought that I was a transient when I went in and out of the restaurant to grab something in the car. She chased me down to the sushi area and said something which I can barely understand since her Mandarin accent was really strong. read more

The service was not good one of the ladies that has short straight hair scolded me and proceeded to speak Spanish as if I know Spanish all because I got a slice of food and I didn't eat it. From beginning to end. There is a time limit on your party of 1.5 hours. Today was my brothers a 65 bday and because he had no ID he was not discounted. There was a hawk of a waiter watching every thing we did. My grandson was charged adult price because of his height. Over 4.5' is adult price! That's gotta be discrimination! Food was cold. The lady at the register argued with me about my grandsons height, saying he's not average for 10. I mentioned I seen kids prices online and she said we have nothing posted online! No a/c just fans. So its hot as hell and noisy as hell with all the kids in there. Parents do not know how to teach their children any manners. The food is ok. Coconut shrimp is good, different but good. Moist, crispy and covered in a coconut milk sauce. Good fried shrimp, fresh veggies. Steamer tables are clean and switched out regularly. Salad is your basic lettuce with a couple other items. Nothing to say about the service. The young lady would take our empty plates, but if you needed a refill you could sit and wait. Good food, although we were disappointed that there was no raw sushi, as there are at other Hibachi Grill Buffet we've been to. There were less items available here than at other Hibachi we've been to, such as the white vermicelli noodle, mussels, other clam and shrimp dishes. The service was great. This one lady was doing a deep clean of the seats, which impressed me. The ambiance was okay, as I wasn't really expecting anything spectacular. I love that it has Flan and Clam Chowder, which was not available at other Hibachi we've been to. Great price - $12.99 for lunch. read more

It was a total waste of our time, and because of this dishonest and unhelpful service, we will never be returning.

I'm not telling you to eat elsewhere. The food and service are still good. I just don't recommend eating here if you are on a budget or prefer a better biscuit. If I do return, it'll be for the lunch special, not the AYCE dinner.

Staff very rude. I'm white, and my experience would lead me to believe they are very racist. Sushi is a true shame to real sushi. Perhaps 20% of all their food is edible. Day-old grease rules. I recently dined hibachi and had a nice experience. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was decent--tasty but not spectacular. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. While it might not be the best place in town, it's a good option for a casual meal. Upon entering Everest Grill and wrap I was greeted by Jimmy, the manager. He shared that the restaurant was previously Maui Hawaiian BBQ and they took over ownership last year. That's how I found out they decided to still serve Hawaiian BBQ but also have Nepalese dishes as well as wraps on the menu. The service he provided was amazing. He took time to go over the menu, all the popular items, and shared detailed information about the items that were new to me. Now let's get into the food and drink because it was absolutely amazing. I really don't have anything negative to say about anything that I tried. To drink, I had a mango lassi for $3.99. It was a beautiful balance of sweet and tart. The yogurt gives it this subtle tart flavor and the mango did not over power it. It was creamy and perfectly balanced. It was a nice refreshing treat on this extremely warm day. The mixed grill plate comes with grilled teriyaki chicken, bbq beef, and a short rib (includes Mac salad, rice, and steamed cabbage) for only $15.99. The meats were juicy, tender, and had a perfectly balanced teriyaki flavor. It wasn't too sweet or salty. The Everest Spicy Chicken (includes Mac salad, rice, and steamed cabbage) for $13.99 and is paired with an in house spicy sauce. This chicken is not glazed, it has a spice rub. It's nothing like I've tried in the past. The rub is not burn your tongue spicy, it's more of a warmth to your pallet. I really enjoyed the crispness of this chicken and the Nepalese spices used to make it. When you pair the chicken with the spicy sauce it comes with, then you get that true spice and it all comes together as the perfect bite. Which is perfect for me because I love heat! The Crispy Fried Shrimp (6 pieces) for $8.99 were exactly as described. I was surprised because for the price you get 6 butterflied fried shrimp that are a decent size and not full of batter. This is a simple dish and I chose to pair it with the katsu sauce. The Spam Masubi (2 pieces) for $6.99 were also good. The rice was nicely steamed but still had a bite, the spam was grilled with some type of teriyaki glaze, and the seaweed was not soggy. My highlight of the evening and out of everything I tried was the Everest Chicken MoMo (10 pieces) for $12.99. This is another Nepalese dish and their pan fried chicken dumplings. They also come steamed. When I tell you this is a flavor bomb, I mean it. The dumplings were lightly fried with crispy edges. They were juicy and full of this deliciously seasoned chicken. They are definitely some of the best dumplings I've had. They're paired with two sauces. One is a mild and well seasoned sauce. The other is the same spicy hot sauce that comes with the Everest Spicy Chicken. It was suggested to mix them and it was a spot on suggestion. The steamed rice in all the dishes was fluffy and fresh. The Mac Salad was a10. Next time I'm requesting all Mac or more Mac. It's creamy but not too mayo-e. It's full of flavor and has its own Stephanie Lopez tastes. They also offer Teriyaki sauce, Katsu sauce, and Louisiana Hot Sauce at their sauce bar. As for the ambiance, it's giving Hawaiian vibes. It's a casual establishment with table and chair dining. The decor is full of Hawaiian inspiration and I love the surfboards. Please don't sleep on this place. It is a must try. I know I'll be back for more food. Especially the Chicken MoMo...
