I've been coming here since I was a kid. I took my mom here for the first time in 30years and I'm happy to find that it's just as good as it was 30years ago. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. We came for the lunch special. You get to build your bowl, hot tea, egg rolls, and rice. For me and my mom our bill came out to $43. Great vegan option as well

Like I said earlier, I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's always a nice spot to go get something to eat. The service is great and the food is good. They have a guestroom for parties too.

Nasty bland. Only chicken beef and tofu options no shrimp sauce at the end. Just don't go here unless you like bland

Have been coming here for so many years. Food is great and all you can eat dinner for $18.99 + tax. Children under 8 years are half price. Friendly staff and greets you upon entering the restaurant then walks you to the table. With the dinner per person is served the sides of: small bowl of steamed rice an egg roll sesame biscuit Jasmine tea fortune cookie Food buffet counter includes: Shrimps Beef Lamb Chicken Tofu Watered flavored sauces: Vinegar Bbq oil Lemon Sesame Oyster Spicy Sweet Variety of veggies/fruit: Spinach Broccoli Bean sprout Onion Green bell pepper Cilantro Napa cabbage Pineapple chunks Egg noodles After scooping all of these good stuff then you place your bowls on a counter window to be cooked. Don't forget to leave a TIP for the cook!! bon a petite !!!

Came for dinner and was pleased to know our Mongolian experience came with soup, bakes, and some good tea.

I've came to this restaurant twice now and both times have been great. I am puzzled to see folks have been leaving bad reviews. Anyway, I recommend it and message to the restaurant staff - Stay awesome guys !

Yaaa sooo this place is cool and all buuut they be taxing for no reason it's good but not that good for the price you pay. Also the flavor is not there anymore smh. Needs to be run by a new person now. Owner needs to realize that his restaurant is in the hood not Beverly Hills.

Ask the Community - Mongolian BBQ

Is lunch all you can eat as well, or just dinner?

The last time I was there (2015) and the 25 years before , lunch was always one bowl only for a very reasonable price.

    Are they open today?

    Yes

I imagine that system cut into their profit, because now the staff adds all the ingredients themselves based on your selections. While the quality of the food remains consistently good, the portion sizes are obviously more in their favor than before. That said, the prices have stayed relatively inexpensive, which makes it an easy place to keep coming back to. The interior, however, has definitely seen better days. The old self-serve area is now blocked off with retail items and extra tables, which feels like a band-aid solution rather than a thoughtful layout. The space could really benefit from a refresh--some updated décor, better organization, and a little more attention to cleanliness would go a long way toward making the restaurant more inviting. It's not dirty by any means, but it doesn't feel particularly polished or welcoming either. Despite these shortcomings, this remains one of my regular spots. The food keeps me coming back, and there's a familiarity and comfort to it that's hard to replace. Still, I genuinely hope they invest in some renovations soon. A little effort could go a long way in modernizing the space, attracting new clientele, and keeping longtime fans like me even happier.

This is a very simple and basic operation with a very tasty finished product. I went in, picked up a fresh and clean bowl, loaded it up with shrimp, ( other meats available) tofu, garlic, scallions, cilantro, broccoli and pints of teriyaki sauce, and loads of fresh garlic & curry sauce. There is a lot of variety in the meats, veggies and sauces, toppings and spices. Then place the bowl and watch the happy and eclectic Luini do his thing as he happily prepares the masterpiece and pours it into a to go container. Nathan grabs it, weighs it( $9.95/lb throws in some free steamed rice and soy & hot sauces and Voila- behold and enjoy this wonderful, tasty and invigorating combo. Mine was approx $20 ( video) and I barely got through half. Loved it. Drinks are extra. Once again this is not a fancy restaurant. No serving staff, no host or hostess , no reservations- just pick your ingredients, then pick them up when done, pay and eat after seating yourself. Drop off the bowls when done by the main door. I loved it! Definitely will be back.

The menu is basically a "pick your Asian craving" situation -- Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai -- all in one spot. Perfect for when nobody in the group can agree on what they want. I've tried multiple dishes and here's the honest take: everything's been good... just not "cancel-my-plans-I-need-this-again-tomorrow" good. I'm still waiting for that wow factor dish. But to be fair, nothing has flopped either. It's consistent. It's affordable. It hits the craving. Not elite. Not legendary. But solid enough to earn 4 stars. Would I come back? Yeah.
